what i got,, waiting for tacos
    Quincy C.

the food was so good and for a great price! i came in the morning and got 2 egg cheese and potato tacos, a pineapple and cheese pastry and a topo chico. It was a little bit of a wait for the tacos but there was only one person working and they were clearly made fresh so i didn't mind. Love supporting small neighborhood businesses and this place is 100% worth it

This shop is small and had one person working the counter at the time. I had the bean and cheese nachos, which were great on their own. Each chip was half of a corn tortilla with a great crunch, generous spread of refried beans, and a lot of cheese. I was happy that it came with a little guacamole, tomato, and lettuce. These went great with the green and the red salsas. I also got an al pastor taco, but it wasn't sliced from a trompo. The meat was flavor like al pastor pork and it was tender and went well with the red salsa. I was unhappy with the cajeta empanada. It was the worst Mexican bakery item I've ever had because it was all dried up. The cajeta was hard and crunchy instead of creamy. It was too late for me to change my order once I was back home eating.

I have lived down the street from this gem for over a year and just recently visited. I am so glad I did! We ordered 4 breakfast tacos and 3 conchas all for under $10. The conchas were huge and super soft! Nothing like HEB ones and the tacos were super stuffed and filling. Definitely will be returning!

Sunday afternoon stop in to curb that sweet tooth without being over powered by the taste of refined sugar ... I'll take it. This place is quaint and the selection is varied. Very good for an inexpensive treat.

    Exactly how I pictured it!

Really yummy homemade style breakfast tacos and pretty dang great pastries. The guava pastry and stuffed churro were the highlights.

Local mexican bakery. Nothing fancy. Just authentic mexican baked goods and a few hot meals in a small kitchen. Fine for breakfast.

I ordered 2 steak tacos and horchata, both very delicious. The horchata is milky and sweet but not crazy sweet, and topped off with cinnamon. The steak tacos came out pretty hot, fresh from the grill. I got them on corn tortillas and I'm glad I did: idk if they make them in house but somebody in some house is making these because they definitely aren't store bought, and if they are I want to know where! I tried the orange habanero and creamy serrano salsas. The habanero was spicy off the bat, while the serrano had more of a lingering burn. Both paired well with the steak. They have a little bar, too, though I did not imbibe this time. Seems like they have a decent selection of agave spirits, and even Campari behind the bar (iykyk). Give them a shot, and thank the ladies in the kitchen.

Decided to come in and the cashier greeted us and was really nice and patient because of questions with the menu. The Taco Bueno is what I had ordered and requested no potato. Sat down and after a few seconds, chips & salsa was delivered. Then after a few minutes, the food came. Quick service for sure and the food, AMAZING. Anyone reading this, try this place out and if u like it, come back! Cuz we are for sure =D
