Some of the things he has shared just resonate and when I'm trying at home it's like a light bulb moment, like aha! this is why! Erwin is a top notch trainer, not like the ones you see taking pics and posting selfies and videos while they're "training." Prices are reasonable for the excellent service and attention you get!. I highly recommend!

You'll definitely work out muscles that you didn't even know you had and some of the classes are so brutal. But it's totally worth it. All the coaches so far have been wonderful. The class setting is smaller so it feels more intimate. Nobody makes you feel awkward too if you have no idea what you're doing. Sometimes it can go a bit fast but the coaches do demo the exercises. I like this place a lot for reformer Pilates :)

I was welcomed and given a walk thru of the machine and terms as the instructor knew it was my first time. He was so kind to do that! I'm familiar with reformer and mat Pilates, and currently work out 5 days a week, so was interested in trying this out. Humbled af. It is very intense and the megaformer takes a lot of care to not get hurt. Overall a great workout! The studio is pretty big and roomy. Loved the aesthetic and mirrors everywhere. Very clean. Parking was annoying because you are at LBX. I'd recommend arriving at least 15 mins early. Overall, a cool workout but not for me and would not recommend for beginners.

If you find yourself in a difficult season of life - physically and emotionally - Katia will meet…read moreyou with wisdom, support, encouragement, and practical tools to safely heal. I found her on Yelp when I was starting to recover from a traumatic accident: 7 broken bones, wounds, a sprained ankle, concussion, and was in need of emotional support while I was healing. Katia is an excellent listener. She is poised with questions and challenges to you, and will help you process hard things with clarity. She will be your biggest cheerleader, supporter, encourager, and accountability partner (if you so choose to commit) in your time of healing. Conventional medical coverage was not enough for me to confidently move forward with my life. Conventional therapy, although excellent, wasn't enough either. To heal you need to come at it from all angles, and Katia will be just that. She will work with you to heal both physically and emotionally, and that is one of the greatest gifts you can give to yourself, isn't it?

I was lost when a friend of mine, who was a client, insisted I should do Pilates with her. When I arrived I was warmly welcomed and after a few minutes I felt calmer and at ease. I talked about what brought me in and she explained to me about Pilates and what it could do for me. It all made sense! Katia's first question on every session is: "what does your body have to tell me today" and we focus more on that area. After a few visits I could see and feel a difference in my body. She would make suggestions on things I could do at home and day-to-day to enhance my workout. Her knowledge of the body and the one-on-one attention to me made my Pilates experience in person and online the best. The longer I have been under Katia's care, the more evolved I have become with other services she gradually offers as needed, such as Reiki, Craniosacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, Cupping, Ear Candling to name a few. All of which have been extremely helpful to me and my healing. One day we were talking about how affected I was by the loss of my mother and she suggested some Coaching Sessions. That yes to coaching is one of hardest but best things I have done. The combination of Pilates, Holistic Therapies and Coaching has helped me understand my mind, body, my feelings and spirt. I had pain in my body caused by some memories I have been carrying for years, thinking it was normal. With her coaching I now know why I have the thoughts and pain. Coaching has given me the power to let it go, and allows me to grow and become the person I am meant to be. I highly recommend Equilibrium Wellness Studio to everyone who is looking for fast results, all ages, any issue. But don't expect to be in an ordinary Pilate's studio, full of machines, lots of instructors loud and crowded. You will be entering a space where you will nurtured, heard, seen and treated by her as a Very Important Person with all services included, and Katia's attention extended online or by texts whenever you need her. After struggling with being motivated to exercise, I saw an ad on IG about a free intro class. Since the video had people using a machine (reformer), I thought I could do this more than yoga which is more unsupported. Also, I've tried at home vids before and I felt that I did not know the correct forms bec I did not have an instructor to notice and correct my positions. What encouraged me to try it out was after I filled out the free intro class form online, the person who called me seemed so nice and competent, even asking about any physical challenges I may have. At this point esp with a free class, there was no reason for me not to try it out! Bec of the person who called me, I felt they would understand such as if I had a hard time, etc. When I did the intro class with Mildraide (who soon became one of my favorites), I was shaking with some of the exercises, but she did not make me feel like a failure. She also greeted me with a genuine welcoming kind smile, so even if she has more of a drilling style, I did not feel intimidated. I left still pondering if I should do it, but what sold me was from that first class, I felt I could stand up taller, my limbs were more flexible, and I had a spring on my step. I am so glad one of their staff members, Cameron, convinced me because I have become healthier from doing pilates and always encourage my friends to try. This review is also for one of my other favorite instructors, Yulia, who's classically trained in pilates. Ever since I started taking her classes, I saw a big difference in the mirror and pictures and I am not so bloated and my shape is more defined. Honestly, that alone will make me keep on going, but I love the stress release and boost I get from exercising. I have since upgraded to 8 classes per month because my body started to crave the exercise. I almost want to gatekeep Yulia's class cause I never want to have to be on a waitlist, but I hope she will work at this location for a very long time. I am honestly impressed by the variety of exercises and how she knows how many reps are reasonable to expect per level. I since moved up to her level 1.5 bec I know it's appropriate to the level and won't leave me discouraged or incapable. She's very professional and never humiliates. The other instructors and staff are also great, particularly at this location. I think there is a special happy and caring feeling in this particular site, and whenever I have questions or need help about my account, I get really helpful responses. So all in all, this is just as excellent as a pilates club can be.
