I attended for a few months. Took several classes: Suspense, cardio, reformer 1, reformer 1.5, restore, control, sculpt. 4 stars if you take at least 2 classes a week, 3 stars for new people joining the club. Taking reformer pilates is like going a private gym, except instead of having several different machines you go to, it's combined into mostly one machine plus extra equipment. I don't usually sweat too much from the majority of classes but it feels great for toning muscles and strength. There's a lot of challenge in doing the workouts where you have to hold yourself up or plank. Weight workouts don't get too intense so there's more focus on core/abs/glutes and sometimes leg for me. -Equipment is a bit worn but in relatively good condition. -I wouldn't take the Restore again unless I had a major injury and needed something very chill, i.e. it's not worth using the credits if you don't have unlimited classes per month. Cardio was the most interesting but it's also a little scary the first time you do it because of how you move up and down the machine. Reformer 1 and 1.5 are bread and butter classes that are pretty solid. Experience can change depending on who is teaching. -Instructors are nice, but a big pain point is that there's so many different exercises that if you're not familiar with pilates it could leave you confused. -For a small class I think there should be more supervision on the students to see if they are doing the workouts properly. Some instructors do, some don't, sometimes they'll check randomly. I understand it can delay class to spend too much time helping someone out, but this seems to be somewhat of an issue for beginners. I've brought several people new to reformer to try out the classes and they are often looking around because they don't know what to do and don't always get enough help. -Marketing can be a little persistent, had to go in-person a few times to clarify things but in-person staff is generally friendly. One thing I never figured out: why do all workouts end with feet in straps? Is that normal? (it is one of my favorite cool downs). read more

I took my 30-minute intro class yesterday with Lauren, and she was absolutely amazing. She made sure to ask about any pain or limitations before we started, and throughout the session she checked in and really made me feel comfortable. The studio was spotless, organized, and had such a welcoming vibe. Even though I ultimately chose not to become a member (only because my current gym's hours fit my schedule better), the team here still impressed me. The ladies were so sweet--they even texted afterward to check on how I was feeling. That kind of follow-through says a lot about their customer care. They're also running a great Black Friday special for the month of November: * $0 enrollment fee * 30% off the first month for the 4-class membership * 30% off the first month for the Unlimited membership, but please call them to confirm. Their class schedule starts as early as 6:00 a.m., with their latest classes around 7:30 p.m., which I know will work perfectly for a lot of people. I wish I started Pilates when I was younger! Pilates has improved my stamina; posture and balance. The instructors are knowledgeable and supportive, they really give you a good workout. There's a lot of classes throughout the day and the Club Pilates in Cerritos is expanding so they will be able to offer more classes and accommodate more members. I started going to Club Pilates in Cerritos in March 2025, and what began as just eight classes quickly turned into an unlimited membership. Im officially hooked! They really took 4 consecutive days off the Cerritos schedule I'm guessing because they're doing construction but how is that our fault??? are we gonna get a four day extension on our monthly membership or are we just gonna have to eat this? This is not right to take the entire Cerritos location off schedule just because you have things to do. We should get a four day reimbursement on the money. It cost us to be there. I have now been taking her sessions for over a year! As someone training to become a Pilates instructor, I cannot overstate how much Laura has helped me understand form, alignment, and the body at a deeper level. I took an intro class here in November 2021 because my gym trainer was going to be out for six weeks (torn ACL, ouch!), and I've been a member ever since. As someone who was used to more intimate one-on-one training, I really appreciate the small class sizes. There's plenty of space between reformers, and instructors walk up and down the room to check form and make sure everyone is safe. I also love that they always ask about injuries and get consent before offering hands-on corrections. The studio itself is always clean, well-maintained, and there is plenty of parking, which makes getting to class stress-free. Class pacing is pretty consistent overall, and once you get comfortable, you'll naturally find instructors whose teaching style and flow suit you best. Some instructors use microphones so everyone can hear clearly, while others project well and explain movements so clearly they don't need one. I've been fortunate to take classes with most of the instructors and have progressed into 2.0 classes, and I genuinely feel stronger and more confident in my movement because of it. While we've seen some great instructors move on, I've met wonderful instructors, front desk staff, and even lifelong friends here. My only suggestion? Better playlists I'm an audiophile and music is the soundtrack to my everyday life--so if they ever add some R&B or hip-hop into the mix, I wouldn't be mad at all. CP Pilates has been one of the longest relationships I've been in (haha), and I wish them nothing but success as they open their second studio next door. Cheers to 2026, CP Cerritos! I have been coming to this CP location for almost a year. I was only familiar with mat pilates not reformer pilates at first. So it was intimidating when I first started with the reformers. I felt like a fish out of water. I love the classes they provide and the instructors are very knowledgeable. Every instructor has their own style of teaching, and it took me a while to get use to it. The employees at the front desk are so sweet and nice. They are super helpful when it comes to questions about the membership. I've been taking Pilates here for years, and it's easily the best workout I've found. I absolutely love this Pilates studio. Angela at the front desk is incredibly sweet and welcoming. I have been attending Club Pilates for the past 2 years and 9 months, at both the Cerritos and Cypress locations, with the unlimited class-access distinction. With over 1,000 classes under my belt, I have never experienced a bad class. All of the instructors and staff are knowledgeable, professional, and always courteous. I can say pilates has become more than a daily workout and truly is a way of life. I highly recommend it as an exercise regime to positively impact both your physical and mental health. While I also have a gym membership and attend the gym multiple times a week, I prefer to attend pilates because it has become the core foundation to my life. To my understanding, the Club Pilates team is soon expanding again to include additional class schedules at their Cerritos location. read more

My first time ever trying Pilates was the intro class. A 30 minute session that had my and sore the next day. I look forward to what the full 50 minute sessions will do for my strength, mental health and confidence over the next 3 months. I have been coming here for 3 years and absolutely love this place! My instructors are amazing. I miss my class on Sunday. Very sad that I miss my class with the Ricardo, sad about that but came to schedule my morning class on Monday with Paige one of my favorite instructors I was gonna have a tough day ahead and I just needed somebody to give me my Zen and she was the one to give me my Zen. I had an exam today and I needed to clear my head and she worked me so I can get my focus. Best instructor made me sweat gave me the intensity I need. The prices are a bit high... and the quality of the class really depends on who you get as your instructor. I personally love Joyce's classes and Bisi's classes. There was a time recently when the AC was broken for like a month and it was terrible but it's fixed now. Asshole instructors if you're a first timer. I'm not, but the person I took with me was and they were so mean to her and spoke to her in a degrading way - she kept going after our first session and said the remarks made didn't change. Also, the booking is stupid. You get waitlisted and will randomly tell you if you made it into the class. Sometimes 5 minutes before the class even starts... Reached out to them about this and they said, "well, just be ready to get accepted into the class" bro wtf? lmao i'm not planning my life around ONE pilates class that is up in the air if i'm on the waitlist until 5 minutes prior. Like how am I supposed to change, get in my car, and make it to the class on time in 5 minutes? Apparently I should be waiting outside in my car. read more

So I think it's time I make this post becuase I've been doing Pilates since August and specifically at this location. I'm super active at the gym at least 3 days a week lifting weights and doing spin class at least twice a week. So at first I wasn't sure if adding Pilates to my workout routine would be too much on my body but now three months later I can say that I can't get enough! The workouts are challenging but not to the point of fatigue. It's the perfect toning workout. And if you are in a 1.5 then you're really getting challenged. (I just moved up to 1.5. I recommend waiting a few months before moving on to the next level because it is more difficult and the instructor expect you to know most of the movements.) This studio is always clean. It has newer equipment, and the instructors are very knowledgeable and attentive. Each instructor has their own style and there are several different types of workouts (and 3 different levels) which I like because depending on if I want a challenging workout, or a nice deep stretch, I have that option. I enrolled at this location exactly when they were doing a change over in management, so I'm really happy that I got to experience a smooth and welcoming enrollment process and quality trainers because I heard, and even read some of the reviews about some of the bs that was going on here before the change over. And it was no bueno. I've only had great experiences at this location since I've been here. So great that I just bought my Passport membership so I can try out different locations here in SoCal and eventually in different states as well! I love the energy of this place and even the people who come here are very kind and welcoming too. Moving here from Chicago just over a year ago was a big change for me. I came here through Gympass and wanted to try Pilates one more time. The reason for the 3/5 rating is mainly that I wish the staff spent more time explaining Pilates terminology and showing us the movements. I felt like I only knew what I was doing because of my yoga background. And I thought the check in process would be better. There was nobody at the front desk and the instructor was ready to begin class without even checking who was at the front. Now for class: I registered for the CP control 1.5. Now I've done multiple types of workouts- weightlifting, HIIT, Yoga, TRX, you name it. This class primarily focuses on controlling hip abduction, glutes, quads, and core. We didn't use the reformer machine but instead the ballet bars, a ball, bosu ball, and foam roller. Because of my fitness background I didn't really break a sweat and thought it was pretty easy. I was hoping I'd be dying like those men you see on TikTok doing Pilates for the first time haha. I'll try another class and see if there's more challenging ones. read more

Cancelled my membership back in June, but wanted to leave a review of my experience. Like many people have stated, a lot of the instructors are not very nice or friendly, especially the beginners. I remember taking a class and the instructor said "this is so funny watching you guys struggle." Not very motivating and left me feeling like I did not want to take her class again. Some instructors did not play music or if they did it was very quiet. Since the studio is so small, you were able to hear the receptionists speaking on the phone or to each other and it was super distracting during the class :( overall, I left every class regretting how my membership. When it came time to canceling, I told them I was canceling before their cut off for the next billing cycle. I was nervous about them still charging me as per other reviews i saw on here and of course, I was charged again their next billing month. I called to ask for a refund and the girl tried convincing me to just keep it and come to more classes. read more
