As someone who loves fitness and staying active, I can honestly say that committing to Pilates--and especially to this studio--has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. When I first started, I was a bit apprehensive, but the instructors immediately put me at ease. They do an exceptional job of meeting members where they are, offering thoughtful guidance and modifications that make every session both accessible and appropriately challenging. Two years later, I still look forward to my weekly sessions! Beyond the workouts, this studio stands out for its clean, organized, and welcoming atmosphere. A special thank-you to my instructor, MJ, for being absolutely incredible. Her clarity, patience, encouragement, and expertise have made a lasting impact on my experience. I'm truly grateful for all she does and highly recommend this studio to anyone considering Pilates! read more

Esteem Pilates is a fantastic Pilates studio. I have never done Pilates before and was very hesitant to begin. After hearing of all the great benefits that Pilates has to offer, I decided to give Esteem Pilates a shot and I'm so glad that I did. The instructors are all extremely welcoming and my instructor Erin is the best. She teaches me and guides me through every movement and goes at the pace and level that I am comfortable with. She knows exactly when to push me so that I get a great workout while keeping my inexperience in mind. I have been going for a few weeks and I already see and feel the benefits. My lower back pain is gone and I feel my core strengthening. I also see a huge difference when I play volleyball and am overall more athletic. If you're hesitating to begin Pilates, I highly recommend Esteem Pilates because they will make sure you feel comfortable while getting stronger. read more

I've been taking private Pilates sessions with Erin, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. She is kind, professional, and incredibly focused during every lesson. Erin pays close attention to form and technique while tailoring each session to my individual needs and goals. Since working with her, I've noticed significant improvement in my strength, flexibility, and overall body awareness. She creates a supportive and encouraging environment that makes learning both effective and enjoyable. I highly recommend Erin to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated Pilates instructor! read more

I'm a bit picky, and I've tried many Pilates studios, but I finally found the right one for me. The instructors are so helpful and affectionate, and the environment is very welcoming. They really know what they're doing. I've been coming here for six months now, and I'm so much stronger. My posture has noticeably improved, too. I'll be on a two-week break, and I already can't wait to come back. I highly recommend this place! read more

I've never done pilates before and was scared for my first class but I'm glad I gave it a shot. First of all, I loved the ambience. It was calm, clean, and friendly. The class was a little difficult since I haven't exercised in so long but I enjoyed the challenge! Great workout. read more

I strongly recommend this studio for children, men, and women of all ages. I started attending Aileen teacher's private pilates classes since November 2023, and I have noticed immense changes in my strength, mobility, and flexibility. Furthermore, Aileen curates her classes to fit the needs of her clients and includes a lot of variety, so I leave every class feeling engaged and stronger. Aileen is very knowledgeable, patient, and an excellent instructor. Aileen's attention to the smallest details to ensure your body is in alignment is amazing! She gives detailed pointers on which muscle groups to engage and how to properly and safely do various exercises. She also challenges you to do your best! The professionalism and responsiveness of The Esteem Pilates team is amazing. I had an emergency about a week ago, and the Esteem Pilates team was very accommodating and understanding. Instructors are approachable and friendly. The studio and equipment are clean and in immaculate condition as well. I highly recommend this place. I look forward to attend Aileen's classes every week. read more

I've been taking this class over a year. My body has been dramatically developed so far. Before taking this pilates class, I had round shoulder and back and a lot of love handles. I wasn't interested in working out, even plank for 10 sec. However, I've lost over 10lbs. my body fat is 17% after taking this class. In addition, I can do abdominal plank for 3 mins. It totally makes differences. My teacher, Minjeong is enthusiastic and so professional! She teaches me the way how to stimulate my muscles. read more

Took my first three pilates class here and I am definitely a fan! Michelle was such a great instructor. She really focuses on fitness for your whole body. The studio is really clean and peaceful as well. Highly recommend! read more

I had never done Pilates in a studio before I went to Esteem Pilates. The instructors are helpful, kind and thorough and will definitely help you if you're a beginner. The studio is clean, quiet and cute. There is no pressure to purchase a membership or multiple lessons and it's easy to book sessions online - often on the same or next day. Highly recommend! read more

I would give five stars just for the cleanliness of the environment. Just like other reviews, the place was super clean. However, I don't know if it was just me but I took the aerial yoga with Minjeong instructor and I have to say... she was cold. Her vibe was not friendly at all. Her voice sounds friendly but I can tell that her vibe was not friendly nor really helpful. I bought the groupon deal for 3 classes and honestly I wanted to originally take the aerial pilates but wanted to try the aerial yoga just to see what it's like. After this experience, I realized that it's so important to have a good and friendly instructor. Beginners who are taking this aerial yoga class (aka me) have a hard time with flexibility and strength and I felt like this instructor was not much helpful. I get it, it's a group class so you need to go about the time frame but if someone in your class is struggling, you should do your part to physical help the people in your class. I'll basically be wasting my money but I won't be finishing the rest of my two classes from my groupon deal because I left this place with a sour taste in my mouth. I wish I had the other instructor that I read in other reviews instead. read more

I can't recommend Esteem Pilates enough! The studio is very clean and the trainers are immaculate. I've been working with Angela for over 6 months and I've see and feel the difference in my body. She really listens to your body's strengths and weaknesses and curates the flow based on it, while pushing you in the best way possible. She really focuses on perfect form so she constantly adjusts and makes sure you're doing the movements correctly, read more

First session in the bag. Eileen was fantastic! Im 58 years old and haven't exercised in 15 years. My body and mind needed it! Eileen was so patient and helped me through the whole session. I have my next session on Friday. I will update as time goes on. I am sticking with it! read more

Looooved it!! It was my first time today! Booked a trip private class with my Mom and Aunt! Michelle was very patient with us and guided us every step of the way! She paid attention to detail and helped us better our form during stretches. Also the booking process was very easy! Aileen responded promptly to my questions via phone. They're such a great team. Can't wait to come back again! Totally recommend! read more

I was looking for good pilates class for awhile and found this one. Tried one-time private duet class with my sister. Nari was my instructor. She is legit!!! I am not a big fan of workout. But it was a great experience with her. Nari understands my weak points and suggests therapeutic exercises for it. I still hate working out but love her session. I purchased 10 more sessions with her. Highly recommend, specially private sessions read more

1st time doing Aerial pilates. I enjoyed the class. May seem easy but you will immediately feel it! Well atleast I did!‍ It was a good soreness. Lol But I want to do it again. Looking forward to it. It makes working out fun. Not intimidating at all. A great whole body work out. read more

Esteem Pilates - 1st time doing Aerial pilates. I enjoyed the class. - Pilates Near Me - La Palma, California

I like the classes and instructors here. My favorite was Rachel Park but she's no longer here. The other instructors are great too (Nari, MJ, Michelle, Angela)! Also, I wish they could play more K pop in the studio (since it's a Korean own and instructors all Korean). Make the environment more fun instead of the "sad hot girl" vibes they got going on. Overall though, great studio and instructors. read more

I was very interested in trying Pilates so I searched and found Esteem Pilates. They have a first time package, 3 private classes for $165 so I jumped at it and I'm so glad that I did. Pilates was a huge challenge for me but my instructor was great! She was clear, thorough and patient. She knew what she was doing and I was able to follow her directions because of that. She pushed me well and encouraged me. The facility is very clean! Pretty too, very good aesthetics. I had a short conversation after and the instructors all are very nice and makes you feel welcomed so if you're shy like me, don't worry I think you will love it. I took a look at the class options they have now that I'm done with my package. They have a lot you can choose from, group classes, private 1:1 or private 2 people. I just prefer private classes in general so that was my option. The prices are very fair also in my opinion. Great workout and can't wait for my body to get back into shape! read more

This review is about my experiences 3 years ago per COVID. I used to work nearby so I came here often during the date for both aerial and platform. After surgery, I lost all my abs muscle, I explained to the instructor minjoing, she seemed to understand and encourage me the keep trying m. During one try, I pulled my lower back muscle that's connected and wrapped around my legs( dr explained to me this way). That was 3 years ago, when I thought it was not a big deal, I tried to recover and move on my life. Then I got pregnant, COVID happened, lots of exercises stopped, 3 years later, that muscle is still bothering me. I have spent a lot of rehab money, time, energy, that muscle is still severely damaged. I just wish the instructor could have be careful of giving out instructors based on each students condition. And provided support when it's needed. So no more injury. On top of that, I have bought a class pack right before I found out I was pregnant. The owner refused to transferred to my friend, refund. I have to show her the California law on this, she has to refund. Just small unnecessary struggles. I don't dislike the class structure , just the small things made people felt so Unwelcomed, also these small things tend to be matter the most read more

I am loving it here so far. I felt welcome on my first day and the instructor, Jessica, is so nice. She makes sure that I can push myself and at the same time made me feel good about how I'm doing. She lets you go on your own pace especially if you are a first timer. The place is clean and organize. I am excited on days to come to explore other pilates exercises. read more

I enjoy all types of fitness. I am not the most active person but seeing how much my girlfriend enjoyed yoga, I decided to join her @ esteem pilates. My first impression of the studio is very clean, spacious and neat filled with many fit instructors. I was at first intimidated but everyone was very welcoming from the front desk to the instructors. Jessica Ham was our instructor that day, she was nothing less than OUTSTANDING. As a beginner, I was worried I would be lost at first but she was proactive in including beginners as well as carrying on with the regulars. Our instructor Jessica was very attentive, patient, and highly educated in pilates which made me feel comfortable. Definitely coming back! read more

I tried the pilates for the first time at this studio through their free-class special during their grand opening. Space: The studio is on the smaller end of studios but it makes the experience much more intimate. It is a brand new studio with about 5 pilates reformer machines, personal training area, and an open room for aerial pilates (coming soon). The studio has dual language classes (Korean and English). Instructor: Jessica was my instructor, and as a first timer, she was really clear and helpful. She was super gentle and patient with us, making sure our form was correct. She also accommodates for various levels and skill sets. Whether you're a first timer or experienced pilates-er, try Esteem Pilates! read more

Would definitely recommend this place if you want a good exercise. The studio is spacious and a great place to work out. Beautiful and Spacious studio with great instructors! The best reformer classes! :) I have been going to Esteem 3 times a week for over 3 months now. The studio is lovely and the classes are really small. I'm an absolute beginner and really appreciate the time the instructors take to make sure I'm aligned correctly and doing all the exercises the right way. I have noticed a big difference in my strength and posture. I have even started to notice that I'm looking more toned. I did try a flying class, but it was just too hard for me at the moment since my upper body strength isn't very good. I would really recommend taking the private classes as well! Jessica has been amazing and I really enjoy using the Cadillac. She is always super patient with me and I fell that she caters the private classes for what I need and can actually do. I have always loathed exercise but I actually look forward to attending the Esteem classes. Thanks Esteem! xo read more

I have always enjoyed doing new things to keep myself active. When I wanted to learn pilates, I started my search for a good studio. I hopped around different pilates studios, but I'm grateful and lucky to say that I have found my pilates home at Esteem Pilates! I have been going to Esteem Pilates for some time now, and it's been such an amazing and exciting journey. The studio is always kept clean, and there's ample parking spaces around the building. There's five reformers for classes, which is very helpful when you need some minor adjustments and personal attention from your instructors. Jessica is always my go-to instructor for privates, reformer, and flying pilates because she is so knowledgeable, encouraging, patient, and kind! She will make sure you sweat and will motivate you to keep strong through the end of the class. Thank you so much, Jessica! read more

I just completed my 3-class trial session at this studio, and I must say that it was a pleasant experience to be surrounded by well-trained instructors in a clean environment. Even though this was my first time trying pilates, I din't get stressed out because both Wooyand and Jessica were very supportive and encouraging. Their guidance was not harsh or damanding like some of the other instructors I've come in contact with in the past (yoga, personal training). The classes are small so they feel like private sessions with lots of personal attention. Everything is new so you can concentrate on exercising instead of worrying about broken equipment. And they offer a variety of classes to keep you motivated. I admit that I'm not a big fan of workouts, but Wooyang and Jessica prevent their classes from becoming arduous. Keep up the good work, ladies! read more

This new pilates studio is my favorite place to workout these days. I have been searching for a perfect studio to begin my journey to explore the world of Pilates for many months, and this is it! A very clean, bright and spacious studio with brand new pilates reformer machines won my heart the minute I walked in for the first time. I took their new client special 3-group classes for $59 since I had some yoga background otherwise they recommended a private lesson before joining the group lessons. My experience after the very first group lesson in pilates reformer class lead me to sign up for membership and fell in love with the instructors who are very caring and knowledgeable. If you have never experienced a pilates class, this is the place to start and continue toning and sculpting your body. The instructors are not at all intimidating but so supportive and encouraging. Even though it was a group setting, the maximum number is 5 and the instructor moves around constantly to physically adjust your body for any needed adjustments. You will get the personal attention in a small group. When you purchase 10 or 20 group classes, you can use them for any of the pilates reformer class, Pilates cardio class or flying (aerial)pilates class! Can't wait to try all the other classes they offer here. I highly recommend this studio for your overall fitness goals and also peace of mind! read more

This is the BEST Pilates and flying yoga studio in OC. The place is brand new so super clean and modern. The instructors are nice and well knowledged. They have regular pilates with reformer , cardio Pilates with reformer which is a combination of cardio work and pilates, flying yoga and aerial dance(?). I tried pilates reformer, cardio pilates and flying yoga. They all hard but fun. Flying yoga is kind of scary since you have to hang in the air and do the poses. But will get use to it . If you are first time recommend do the pilates reformer and have strength on the stomach arm and legs. Since flying yoga needs alot of strength to achieve the poses. read more
