Niko it's my favorite trainer. He makes you feel welcome and corrects body movement if is not aligned to build strength.

I'm sitting here in Hanoi, Vietnam wishing I could be back home n going to LA Fitness like I have…read morebeen going all my life. They were closed for remodeling so I had to go to 24 hrs fitness n I realized how much nicer la fitness was. The cons: 1)They close early at 8pm on weekends 2) their pool is in the basement w 21 steps made of concrete, I fell 18 steps on a cruise ship n survived it but I'm sure I won't survive a fall on this steep stair. 3) I loved their Lifecycle machines esp their ellipticals and rotating machine to firm abdominals unfortunately they got rid of all these amazing machines n replaced them w scary looking MATRIX MACHINES! I get lost in the MATRIX just looking at them, I barely could understand how to use them. I asked the dude at the desk what happened to the perfectly fine Lifecycle machines he said " oh we just want real machines for serious gym goers" this was a terrible thing to say "dude I'm deadly serious here, I have been going to the gym since my college days n paid like $199 a month for Jack La lane in NYC when I was a starving college graduate" these machines are made for gym rats, you see them looking like robots working out for hours. You'd have to be at least 5 ft2 to be able to use them except for 1 that I could use and I'm only a midget! The pros: 1) No gym on earth has a pool w almost tub water! I love it. 2) it gives good vibes bc it's well decorated and the layout is nice. 3) They got rid of slow Joe silly order to turn the showers into a trickle, it's penny wise pound foolish as it took forever to wash your hair. My vacation in Vietnam was great in Saigon, Halongbay etc.. my granddaughter wanted to experience her roots but after Halong my husband collapsed I thought it was a stroke but it turned out to be brain cancer n we are languishing here waiting for brain surgery. I'm writing this as a tip to travelers never travel wo insurance. The fakenewsmedia beat up on America n tell you health care is free everywhere, I'm in Hanoi, a communist country n the ambulance ride $600, say hello in ER $1699 n brain surgery over $10,990 although in USA it would be $40,000 here but they want cash n credits card upfront or they would kick you to the curb. I'm American n as such a cash cow to be milked! In USA it's infuriating the corrupted politicians gave it free healthcare billions to the migrants. I write this also so all my precious Yelp friends will know why I have been absent as idk when we'll be outta here as it's a long recovery n my husband might not make it, my daughter works remote from here n navigates the insurance to see how we can claw back some fees here, it's so complex but it's her expertise n she has a business international phone. I need divine intervention if I survive this.

I had explored a few yoga studios before, then after taking my first class here, it really clicked…read morefor me and I knew I found the right place. In my first class, I was led to familiar asanas in complete different ways. I was surprised by how well I could balance with the focus on breath work and Anjika's guidance. I've been with them for almost a year now and I haven't been to anywhere else after. I feel the difference in my body, mind, and breath. I really enjoy the mindfulness and endurance I have practiced from their classes. I genuinely look forward to coming here throughout chaotic and stressful weeks. My body gets the deep stretch and strength it craves. I feel a connection to the muscles that normally stay dormant. The studio has also grown beautifully; they have added pilates reformers and chairs! I appreciate Anjika and Antika's warmth and I feel how their thoughtfully organized studio and thoughtful guidance makes a difference for their students, and builds community too. I'm glad I found them and I hope to take their yoga philosophy classes too!
