When I went to see my old coach back in my hometown, he offered me a free month of workouts for what happened. He rectified a situation that had absolutely nothing to do with him. This is the type of environment you want to be in if you're looking to build friendships and really push yourself to the limit. I think my favorite part is pairing up with others from the class because it forces you to socialize with others who have similar goals as you. This place has quickly become somewhere I can go to let out some steam, somewhere I can go to make friends and somewhere where the Coaches truly want you to succeed. It's not like a regular gym where you go in do your thing and you're out. The studio is purposefully small with the intention of being able to assist members with the best form possible during exercises. The music is spot on and the owner and instructors are Incredible. They get to know you by name which only makes the experience less like a regular studio and more like a community where you are valued. These were the things that especially drew me into obtaining a membership at Sazón. The workouts range from beginner and beyond but what further makes Sazón Pilates unique is the variety of classes they offer, such as classes with the jump boards and ballerina Pilates. From someone who did Pilates both one on one and group classes at a Club Pilates, I can honestly say I didn't know what a great Pilates session was until I came to Sazón. Now, I hadn't been to a class in a few weeks. Life was lifeing and vacation came and went. I came back to a class today which only reminded me how much I missed it here and exactly why I signed up to begin with. With only six people per session, it felt very personalized and never overcrowded. Michelle was clear, encouraging, and attentive by making sure everyone understood the movements and maintained proper form throughout the class. As someone who is new to Pilates being here for the first time felt right, unlike other places who can have more than 10 people per session and sometimes might feel unseen. As someone who struggles with making the best food choices and staying committed to an exercise routine, the various time options for classes, the beautiful outdoor environment in the park and the knowledgeable trainers have made it possible for me to know remain committed and attend classes for nearly three years now. When you aren't in class, you are missed. When you are not eating your veggies, they'll offer a recipe. When you aren't pushing yourself, they'll give you 5 more. The gold lining of Recreation Fitness is that they know you, your body and your goals. They want you to succeed and modify their training to help you achieve what your aiming towards. You'll definitely work out muscles that you didn't even know you had and some of the classes are so brutal. But it's totally worth it. All the coaches so far have been wonderful. The class setting is smaller so it feels more intimate. Nobody makes you feel awkward too if you have no idea what you're doing. Sometimes it can go a bit fast but the coaches do demo the exercises. I like this place a lot for reformer Pilates :)

I'm familiar with reformer and mat Pilates, and currently work out 5 days a week, so was interested in trying this out. Humbled af. It is very intense and the megaformer takes a lot of care to not get hurt. Overall a great workout! The studio is pretty big and roomy. Loved the aesthetic and mirrors everywhere. Very clean. Parking was annoying because you are at LBX. I'd recommend arriving at least 15 mins early. Overall, a cool workout but not for me and would not recommend for beginners.
