Both were perfect. Generous amount and perfect sweetness! So there's a really cute library in the back that catches my attention. I immediately go there as we wait for our order and picked out a book that I immediately start to read. As I'm reading, the owner (wife of the guy I believe I met at the counter) says I can keep the book! Excuse me what?! I was so happy lol what a gem of a coffee shop. For my daughter I ordered the waffles with berries. This was slightly smaller than I expected but delicious. So sugary and flavorful. And I had a honey cinnamon latte which I also felt was full of flavor and had lots of cinnamon (I've had this in other places where I felt the flavor and cinnamon were lacking). That being said, it took 24 minutes to get our food which I think is a bit excessive for this environment. There was only one girl working when we were there and lots of people. Also, the bill for all that (plus an apple juice) was $53 and change including tip! (I paid that same amount recently at a cute sit down restaurant where the meal was big enough to have plenty of leftovers). The ambiance had a clean, minimalist aesthetic with pretty decor pieces. It was very quiet too... about halfway through my visit, they turned on some music, but it was still a quiet, calm environment with the music. I prefer a busier, fun type of vibe, but for those who are looking for something very serene and calm this would be an ideal place to relax or get some work done as long as you're willing to wait for your food!

For breakfast, I ordered The Traditional with scrambled eggs and cheese, smoked ham, whole grain artisan toast, and I substituted the seasoned potatoes for cheesy grits. I also ordered an orange juice. Everything was good. The eggs were cooked well, the grits were creamy, and the orange juice was fresh and refreshing. My only small complaint is that I could have used another piece of smoked ham or a slightly larger portion. My friend ordered the Tri Fecta with an extra egg and bacon, along with the Morning Meditation juice, which combines orange, lemon, turmeric, organic ginger, agave nectar, and beet. He enjoyed everything and had no complaints. Overall, that pretty much sums up the meal. Nothing was bad and everything was prepared well. Well a coworker happily bumped into this place a couple of days ago and shared a Colombian empanada with us. It was delicious. There are so many options available. They have ,breakfast, lunch, daily specials, fresh juices and other drinks and let's not forget the delicious arepa sandwiches. I had a real light lunch planned for today so I went with a heavy breakfast. I chose the La Guera (chicken stew and cheese) arepa. The stuffed chicken breast came sliced with onions and green peppers and loaded with melted cheese. Amazingly the arepa stayed crunchy on the outside and yummy on the inside.
