TLDR: Average food, good service. Kinda pricey. You'll get enticed by the bakery at the entrace - beware.
TIP: Parking is horrible. There's only a couple handful of spots. Expect to park on the street.
After enjoying LA PETITE COLLINE's Steeles/Woodbine location, I was excited when they announced and opened a Taiwanese-ish cafe nearby. We arrived around 1PM on a holiday and there were lots of people. We had to put ourselves on a waitlist and we waited for about 20-30 minutes. Thankfully you don't have to wait around (they call you) and they also have a bakery at the front so you can browse (and shop) while you wait. We ended up buying quite a lot of bakery items even before we sat down. Once seated, you can order from an iPad. Overall, service is pretty good. It took some time to flag some people down, but I think they were still working out the kinks (this review is long overdue).
PRICE: Pretty pricey for what's offered, but it's the same range as their other location. Expect $20-30 per person if you get an entree and drink.
FOOD: Food was good. I got the Hainanese Chicken and it was as expected - love that they're one of the only places that actually remove the chicken bones lol. It was pretty filling and good for what you pay for!
Overall, I'd come back if I was craving, but I wouldn't consider this my go-to. read more
