    Tallarin verde

I went with my family last weekend and tried a few dishes. Chaufa was great as well as tallarin verde. I tried better ceviches so not a fan of theirs. Service was great and fast even though it was full. Ambiance was clean and pleasant.

Ee went there on a Saturday afternoon. We order different dishes. Ceviche was not my favorite, it was watery and i could not taste the lime or leche de tigre much. The other dishes were average. Service was good. Our server was attentive and the food came out fast and everyone got their dish at the same time, which i appreciate. The ambiance was pleasant. Place is clean.

Came to the La Perla location in Weston and the service and the food was amazing . Definitely recommend coming to this location for anyone who eats at La Perla.

Oh well. We love La Perla and just because today the anticuchos were not tender we will continue to favor this restaurant... but the anticuchos today were hard :( And we came for anticuchos- so they are down one star today. Having said that: we came for a quick lunch at a good old favorite and were positively surprised by these news: there's a new lunch menu! There are now some Chifa options!! (I took pictures of the Chifa menu but have not tried them yet: but how exciting!!) and we tried their chocolate cake and it was SOoooo GOOD!!! We only ordered the anticuchos and the jalea from the lunch menu: it was enough for lunch, and very delicious! So we had "room" for desert..: and we chose the chocolate cake. Let me tell you that it was GOOD! Peruvian style with dulce de leche between the layers like we wanted, and fudge on top: oh yea: this will be our new favorite and at $9 we may just stop by to take a slice to-go! The outside space is now (December) quite comfortable to sit at, so we are looking forward to many end of year specials here. Good stuff!! Great service and a delicious chocolate cake: what more can we want? Enjoy!

Who knew this place offers a lunch menu? I usually come for dinner and was unaware until I received the lunch menu. The place was definitely less busy but still great service. I ordered from the lunch menu $20 where you can pick 3 things. I had the fish ceviche, the rice with shrimp, and the causa with chicken. I will say that was my least favorite. Even though it was chicken, it tasted like tuna and I was not a fan of the sauce they placed on top. I wish he would have told me that when I ordered. This third item I chose at his suggestion and had never had it before. Not a fan of it. The other items were delicious. We also had the caesar salad with chicken, the kids palomilla steak with white rice, and the jalea mixta. Pics are here. Overall great food. Their portions are very big and the service is good. Staff is very courteous and friendly.

What an amazing hidden gem! We came here on a week night and the service was outstanding. The menu was huge with so many authentic Peruvian options. Very clean and nice atmosphere. We tried the Arroz con Pollo which was my favorite dish we ordered. The portion sizes were very good and we took home leftovers. The drinks were fabulous, I loved the Peruvian sangria!

    I can't believe it! Yayy!!

My Elite Squad Treat O'clock in August in the form of a shout-out today is for my favorite go-to meal: Peruvian Causa de pollo at La Perla. At least three times a month I call in my order and within 15-20 minutes I can drive in and it's ready to be picked up. There hasn't been a time when the quality hasn't been excellent. The team there is friendly and strives for the highest level of customer service. As for the ambiance, everyone I have glanced at during my visits has seemed happy and enjoying the offerings from their varied menu.

this was my first time trying peruvian food, so my friend ordered for the whole table. this was such an amazing experience. the staff were super kind, they were very attentive to our needs and they were understanding even though our requests might've been overwhelming with our table of 10. they always made sure to clear our table and ask if we needed anything else. my favorite dish was the causa la perla. it's unlike anything i've ever had before. the flavor and texture of the mashed potatoes goes so well with the proteins, the sauce was super delicious, and i feel like all the individual flavors really got to shine. i'm not much of a seafood person, but i really enjoyed my time here. this is a good place to come for a dinner date or with friends. i would definitely recommend it!

Lomo saltado with a pisco sour

The attention from the very beginning was very attentive. We sat at the bar and we ordered right away. My husband ordered a ceviche and I ordered the steak saltado. The steak was delicious and tender. The fries were dripping in the sauce and the rice was very garlicky which I love! It is a big portion so definitely share if you want to. The drinks were strong so I would say a 3.5/5 but overall a great experience. The restaurant was clean, light music playing and tv screens by the bar if you're ever looking to catch a game!

Came here for dinner. The place is decorated very o pretty. We can for an early dinner with our girls and there were only a few people there. The service was good and super quick. We had our food within 15-20 mins of ordering and it was delicious. We had la chaufa de pollo and it was not greasy at all. The Lomo Saltado was so good. It was light even though it was steak. Truly recommend this place and can see why it was constantly recommended to me.

Outstanding, we went on a Friday around 3 it was a good time because it was busy but not too busy so we did not feel rushed. The food is just delicious and the service is attentive. We ordered the paella and the Corvina Flambé. Both were so enjoyable. We didn't order cocktails but the fresh lemonade was perfect not too lemony and not too sweet. We will come back. As this really is a gem in Weston.

I have been several times to this restaurant but today I tried to give it a twist. We always order lomo salteado ceviche de corvina and chaufa chicken; however today I wanted to try other items in the menu and the result was outstanding. The parking is easy as they're located in a plaza. We went today Saturday around 2 pm and got seated inmediatley(I called ahead as they're normally super full) The service was amazing. Ambience great and we were able to order immediately. We had: Ceviche mariscos: amazing mix of different seafood served in a huge martini like glass- enough to share. Amazing- also comes with fried fish and calamari in too Chaufa mixta: mix of seafood in fried rice full of flavor and perfect cook Fried fish- great pick- cooked perfectly and crunchiness on point Risotto a la huancaina - lomo salteado: I have a new favorite. What a perfect mix of one of the best plates I've had at this restaurant (lomo salteado) with a risotto in huancaina sauce. This plate was amazing Price is fair for the size of plates. We shared plates - all of us were full and it was 6- tab around $200

Favorite Peruvian spot near me! It's my current go to for the quality of food and proximity. Delicious lomo , Tallarin verde con bistec and ceviche ! Love their ceviche lime juice mixture. Fresh fish. For ceviche they offer house swai or Corvina. Lomo has a great marinade - lots of French fries almost overwhelming. Wish had more steak but not bad Inside and patio section available. Large patio section. Brought my uncle and aunt who were visiting from Peru and their words in Spanish "best Peruvian food I've had in South Florida".

From the moment we walked in, I had a feeling there might be issues. There were only three other families in the restaurant, yet it still took quite a while for the hostess to seat our party of four. After being seated, we waited nearly 20 minutes before our waitress even acknowledged us. Once we placed our order, the food took a long time to arrive, only for my husband's surf and turf and side of fries to come out cold. We sent the meal back, but when it returned, the steak was overcooked and the same lobster tails appeared to have simply been reheated, leaving them overcooked as well. The waitress brought over the manager, but unfortunately he was not helpful. He seemed surprised the food came out poorly a second time and simply offered my husband a sandwich instead. Overall, the service and food quality were extremely disappointing, especially given how empty the restaurant was.

The service we received from Roberto, our Host, was spectacular. We selected various items from the menu, ranging from antipasti to start to our main courses. Our host answered all our questions about the dishes very courteously and friendly. Personally, I am a fan of prawns, though I don't order them often because, in some places, what they actually serve are just "fancy" shrimp. At Sardinia Zona Blu, however, Roberto recommended their "Gamberoni alla Griglia"--grilled jumbo prawns with sautéed vegetables. I was very pleased with this choice. Overall, all the dishes we ordered were fresh and delicious. The wine selection is excellent, as are the desserts. In short, we had a fantastic culinary experience. It is the kind of place that leaves you wanting to come back. We will return soon!

I started with the Caprese di Bufala -- a creamy ball of buffalo mozzarella with tomatoes, pesto, and basil, drizzled with EVOO. The cheese was delicious, but I do wish there had been more pesto. It felt like there was more EVOO than pesto. For my main course, I ordered the Saltimbocca Sardo: a 12 oz bone-in pork chop grilled and served in a Vermentino and sage sauce, topped with capocollo and accompanied by mashed potatoes. One note: the menu doesn't mention that the pork chop is bone-in, so that's something to keep in mind. The pork chop was delicious, and the mashed potatoes were fantastic -- silky, smooth, and perfectly made. I had an Italian Pinot Grigio with my appetizer, which was excellent, and a Chianti with dinner. The Chianti was a-OK, although the Pinot Grigio was definitely my favorite of the two. Overall, a very enjoyable dinner. The pork chop, sauce, and mashed potatoes were the standouts for me, and I'd happily come back to try some of the other dishes. I recommend.

Having been to the North Lauderdale location before, we wanted to see how the Davie spot compared and it delivered. My sister had no idea what to expect, but she absolutely loved it. The fried shrimp came out crispy, flavorful, and not greasy, and the sweet potato fries with cinnamon butter were such a pleasant surprise. We also tried the crawfish, shrimp, and sausage in the Mr. & Mrs. Crab special sauce packed with flavor and consistent with what I've experienced at their other locations. Portions are generous, the vibe is relaxed, and my sister is already talking about her next seafood boil. There was one small hiccup we ordered extra corn and didn't receive it with the initial meal -- but the team was very apologetic, I wasn't charged, and it all worked out. The Davie location sits in a plaza, so parking is easy. The space feels open and spacious, and they even have an area planned for karaoke and private events. The ribeye, ordered medium, was pink but extremely dry -- it honestly seemed like it may have been pre-cooked and then reheated. To make matters worse, the steak is served already cut, which doesn't allow it any time to rest and retain its juices. The picanha bowl was also dry and tough to chew. It's a shame when establishments that were once consistently very good go through changes like this. Unfortunately, for the prices they charge, the quality just wasn't there this time.
