Great experience and service and yummy pasta and salad. Very nice outdoor seating. We got the farro pasta and rigatoni.
All I'm saying is? You need a massive sheep tiramisu in your life. I would come back here for that dessert ALONE! Such a cute spot for a date. With that said, the pasta on the menu is surely a hit too. Hearty and full. Very flavorful! My favorite was the Gramigna. The pasta shape was so fun, and the sausage was soooo tasty. Not too salty. However, a big pass for me was the Brussels Salad. Lacked flavor and overall enjoyability...
Really delicious handmade pasta in Nomad area. I came here for my Birthday. I started with the Whipped Ricotta with truffle honey and it's very earthy and comes with really good crispy bread which i believe is from Balthazar Bakery. They brought extra over too. For main I got the Campanelle pasta with a creamy lemony sauce and plump shrimp that comes out covered with Parmesan cheese. Delicious. It's very slightly al dente . But not too much so it did not bother me . I sat inside and it was air conditioning inside. This is a lively place with an open kitchen in the back . But definitely get some pasta if you come here . The sauce was so good .
There are several La Pecoras scattered around the city, and as someone who frequents the location from the Upper East Side, I can tell you that this restaurant stays consistent. Indeed, the Flatiron location is just as delicious as the one from my neighborhood. I came with a group on a Sunday evening. Reservations were easy to snag. I ordered the tagliatelle bolognese, with stewed meat so wonderfully tender and pasta so freshly chewy. I also stole bites out of my sister's garganelli, which had that strong garlic flavor and freshness from the clear sauce. At that moment, I enjoyed hers more than mine. Everyone else from the group enjoyed their dish. One of us ordered the pumpkin ravioli, which she ate quickly and happily. Then for dessert we ordered the tiramisu for the table, and everyone couldn't help but marvel at how delicious it was: creamy mascarpone, lady fingers soft and fully soaked in espresso that wasn't too strong. This location offers an option to easily split the bill through a QR code, where you simply click the item you ordered to pay for it. I loved this capability. It makes dining as a large group easy and equitable. If I ever had to dine with a larger group again, I'll take them here.
This is a smaller location for this restaurant and the menus do differ from other locations in the city. The salads were really delicious and filling. My whole table actually got salads and everyone felt very satiated and not weighed down after the meal.
Ambience is so beautiful. It's like a spring/summer vibe restaurant. Food was superb. I tried some of the fried artichoke appetizers, which are unique and delicious. They were crispy and served with a nice aïoli. I had the rigatoni - the pasta was cooked to perfection, the sauce was so creamy, and this was such a comforting dish after walking all day in New York City. My friend had the mushroom pasta which was also good for those who like a drier and less saucy pasta. I recommend making a reservation. They were very accommodating when we were running late perfect for a dinner before a show, date night, and gathering with family and friends. Would recommend and come again. Also, the pasta was served relatively quickly for those in a rush.

I prefer al dente and don't enjoy overcooked pasta, but it was a bit undercooked. * Service: The servers also didn't really come around, so we ended up paying using their QR code, which charges an additional fee.
I just finished a very nice meal here. I had the Cacio e Pepe and it was really nicely made. Also I didn't find it expensive especially for today's prices. I sat at the bar and was served rather quickly. The place was very busy but like I said, it was easy to get my food. I'd come here again .
We came here on a saturday evening at 8:30 AM and were able to get a hightop table for 2 without a wait. My favorite dish was the garganelli. The creamy mushroom sauce was very flavorful, and the pasta was cooked to a good consistency. Pork chop was very tender and juicy, and it came loaded with toppings and a nice sweet and sour sauce. Brussel sprouts had good flavor too, but were a little too drenched in oil and not as crispy as I would have liked. Overall, solid food with good ambiance, but a little bit pricey for what we got.
Wow what a place to go to for girls night out! We did have a reservation and it took us a while to be seated so you must be mindful of that. Other than that, everything else was perfect. We got the Little Gem Caesar and the Creamy Burrata to start off with and they were both amazing! I definitely preferred the creamy burrata because the figs with the burrata and the pistachio were just a mind blowing combination. For our sides we chose the Roasted Mushroom and the Broccalini which were both a bigger portion than we expected (not a complaint!). My friends loved the Roasted Mushrooms but I unfortunately am not a mushroom person. For the star of the show, we go the Campanelle and the Rigatoni. Both of these pastas were great but my absolute favorite that I couldn't stop raving about was the Rigatoni. The pasta was just cooked perfectly Al dente and I believe it was severed with a tomato alla vodka sauce which was super nice and creamy. We added a burrata in the middle of this pasta but honestly I don't even think it was needed. We finished off with a tiramisu and this tiramisu was huge! On the menu it says that it serves two (or four!) but I definitely think it served more like 4. Luckily our server warned us so we didn't order another dessert on top. The service was great and they even grated more cheese on top for us and was super patient and waited for my friends to record before starting the grating process! I will definitely be back when I go to the city because I still dream of that rigatoni!
Tasty, rich and hearty work lunch. Perfect for a lunch celebration with coworkers. We all ordered different dishes and all 6 of them were devoured completely. I would return if I were in the area and needed a solid lunch or dinner reservation for a group. There is also ample outdoor seating during warmer months. My salmon entree was so flavorful and rich. The watermelon tomato salad, corn and cauliflower dishes were also mouth-watering appetizers for the table. We also enjoyed some white wine and several varieties were available.
I had the perfect dinner here. Felt like I was sitting at a cafe in Italy. Still have the hustle and bustle of NYC after work vibe but the servers and staff were warm and so great. It was jam packed and we were trying our luck as a walk in. The wait was 1.5 hrs but we asked if we can sit at the window which is like your typical bar seat. They made it happen! We ordered the meatballs, Caesar salad, Gramigna, and the NY Strip Steak. Perfection! I would come back for the pasta alone because I am still thinking about it!! Great amount of food for 2 people. We even had leftovers. Everything was so delicious and they were so attentive even with us sitting off to the side. Window seat was perfect because we got to people watch and relax for our dinner.
A popular Italian spot on the corner in flatiron which is usually busy. The food was okay I got the local burrata and tagliatelle which was average. Service was quick and efficient, and love the fact you could self check out. Everything overall was just average and nothing I'd return back for though. I had better in Eataly restaurants inside which are just couple blocks away.
App: Whipped ricotta with honey, the honey really adds a really tasty sweetness. We spilt for the table and it was a really great start, would order again. Entree: We split the burger and a Caesar salad, and really the burger stole the show. The sauce and delicious to dip potatoes in, followed by a crisp in the bottle Diet Coke. Ambiance is bright, fresh, a little loud, but not overwhelmingly so. This was a great lunch spot! I have dined at Pecora Bianca for dinner at their Upper East Side location. Here, at the Nomad location, we had brunch and it was enjoyable. This was our first time at the Nomad location and liked the cute booth we got near the kitchen. It was just right for our group. Over server David O took good care of us. Brunch options included: Frittata Speghetti and shrimp Rigatoni Scrambled eggwhites with sourdough toast, arugula and breakfast potatoes. I also requested a side of salmon to compliment this meal. I also had some tea. Everything tasted fresh and came our very quickly. For dessert we ordered the Tiramisu for 2, which was good for four. The Tiramisu was the star of the show! read more

Definitely a very hip and cool place! We originally were seated inside and then moved outside because the weather was nice. I really do think you are a bit forgotten about outside because service was so slow! There were 3 of us and we had to wait over an hour for our single entrees to come out during lunch time. Other tables around us were being served really quickly. For context - our reservation was at 12:30pm, and the dishes came out at 1:45pm. I just ordered the vodka pasta, and it was really excellent. The pasta was al dente, sauce was flavorful with a hint of spice. I loved this dish! I would return during a less busy time for better service. read more

We actually thought we were going to the Bryant park location but this was closer to where we were. The place was still packed when we arrived but we were sat down quickly. The server was extremely helpful and nice. We split the toscano. The pasta was also delicious and they have gluten free pasta as well. Ambiance was nice. The only thing I was wondering if you are handicapped or old, how do you get to the restroom as it's in the basement. Overall would come back here! read more

Had some of the best service in a bustling atmosphere. We never felt rushed and servers were attentive without being bothersome. Food was delicious and timely. The fresh pasta is A+ and very generous servings which is nice since it's a high price point. Also really enjoyed the meatballs. read more

Super busy on a Wednesday night for dinner. The burrata added to the pastas are quite large and enough for two persons so no need to add for all the pasta dishes you order. The branzino was perfectly prepared over spinach. My friends' pastas were all very tasty. read more
I honestly don't think it gets the hype it deserves! Sure you can easily get a table, but the food has never once disappointed me. The spaghetti pomodoro is one of my fav in the city, and the zucchini fries are perfectly crisp read more
If you've ever had Jack's Wife Freda, I would say this place has similar vibes. It's cute and quaint and you'll have a decent meal and experience I'd say. Like the reviews say, the food does take a bit of time to come out so I would say know what you want to order in the beginning. The prices are typical and reflective of city prices so be mindful of that. It's probably best to order a lot and share if you're with a bigger group. I had the garganeli pasta with burrata and I loved the creaminess of the pasta, but I don't know if it is worth $27 in my opinion. Although I do understand that that is the average price of pasta nowadays. Other than that, the menu is pretty typical of other brunch menus and I don't really think you can go wrong with them as they are all generally safe choices. read more
Walked in for dinner and were seated in their outdoor heated area. The place was packed on a Tue night at 7:30 pm for dinner! Ordered a kiddie pasta ($12), Rigatoni ($26), and Gramigna ($27), all tasty and as expected. Gone are the $11 pasta days but this looks like the new normal for a decent pasta. The pasta itself was nice and chewy. The house-made sausage in the Gramigna eventually gets to you with all the grease, so I'd recommend sharing it unless you only eat animals! Good service, food arrives within 25-mins of ordering. This was my second visit to La Pecora, just a different location! Their Bryant Park location had some delicious Zucchini fries, which this one didn't! read more

First thing I want to say is how delicious the food were, the Chicken Parm was 36$ and it is hands down the BEST Chicken Parm I've ever tasted, but it is not as crispy as we usually get. The second thing we got is the Campanelle, pasta with plumply shrimps. It's light and really filling, it was 26$ I believe. The vodka sauce on the chicken parm is to DIE for, u can taste everything! So so soooo good. We also got Tiramisu for dessert and let me just tell you that i almost cried, the coffee taste was strong, cream was beautiful thick the cocoa powder just combine everything together, it was amazing! 19$ for a piece, could be for 2 but big portions or for 4! Our server was attentive and asking questions. Food was out in about 20-25 minutes, we had a reservation and got seated right away. Chicken Parmesan 9.5/10 Campanelle 7.8/10 read more

It was pretty pricey though -- just 2 pastas, no drinks. and a salad ended up being almost $90. Ample indoor and outdoor seating available. Good place to check out if you don't have reservations and are looking for a decent, solid meal in the area. Indoors gets loud during peak dinning times, especially after 5pm. Gets difficult to hear & yell over the cacophony of conversations. Pleasant, chick environment. Lights get very dim with nightfall. Atmospheric vibes are great for an intimate date or a gathering of close loved ones. Staff are courteous and leave you alone if you don't require assistance, which is what we liked. Menu focuses around pasta and typical American Italian dishes. We tried three pastas: beef bolognese, shrimp in white sauce, and vegetable pasta. All were well executed and filling. Strip steak was a good, filling portion. Tasted even better the second day, as left overs. Enjoyed the Demi glace red wine sauce and the sides of brocollini and baked potatoes. read more

Best pasta I've had in my life for being gluten free. Though they only have penne (iykyk) it was so good! Made a reservation for 8:15PM and I'm so glad we did! It was a busy evening but our server was attentive and offered great suggestions. We had the New York strip, Branzino, and a rigatoni pasta with burrata. Simple but delicious, not overly salted and not lacking any flavor. Despite multiple locations in NYC, I think this restaurant is worth the visit and does well in NYC. read more

I went to the soho one before and was disappointed. But this location definitely made up for my last experience. From the entrees to appetizers for our team dinner. The food was great. My bun was a tiny bit singed black inside but still a good burger. read more
A really cute and very busy place! Came here for a Sunday brunch with friends. Had a lovely waitress and service was good. The food was delicious and I enjoyed myself. They didn't have one of the sodas I wanted and they made a mistake on on my friend's drink but all in all, the experience was good. read more
Walked in and grabbed a seat at the bar for a solo dinner in the city. I wanted some Italian and this over exceeded my expectations. I had a feeling it was going to be good judging by the amount of people inside and waiting around for a table. The wine selection alone was an Italian dream. Being from FL this was a breath of fresh air to see so many good Italian wines on a menu by the glass. I had a glass of Le Volte and a glass of Vino Nobile de Monte. I started with Whipped Ricotta and trust me it's the first thing on the menu for a reason... Chefs Kiss !!!!! Then because I love Carbs I moved on to the pasta and I had the Garganelli. It was the kind of pasta dish you could eat once a day for your entire life and never get tired of it. The quality and simplicity truly reminded me of being in ! I obviously had an espresso martini for dessert to finish off the night and it too was a perfect concoction of coffee and spirits! Until we meet again mi Bella pecora !!! read more

Looking for one of the best vodka pasta en nyc, here it is! After trying the spicy rigatoni from arthurs and sons, my friends kept telling me i had to try la pecora bianca. We checked oht their noMad location and were surprised they had fewer options than their Bryant Park location. However, service here was never lacked :) Their brussel sald was delish, their frozen strawberry lemonade was okay and their rigatoni was good but lacked a bit of flavor but perfectly al dente! Their pesto pasta was rich, and their bolognese was flavorful! read more
