I love coming here, I have started coming since they opened about two years ago. The team here is great, they listen to your requests and always inquire about your needs and what your dislikes are. I have always come to Emily. She does a great mega full set without looking tacky or classless. They always seem to pop in the right places. I have also tried a few of the other girls and they are good as well. I've been coming to this place consistently for the past 5-6 months to get my lashes done and have had about 5 different technicians. I am always really satisfied with the caliber of care and quality. However, I've definitely found my favorite "go to girl" from now on! I wanted to gate keep this, but she's just the best and I had to share. Rachel is by far the best! I just got my lashes done for the second time now by her and the first time my set lasted 4 WEEKS! With about 65% of the lashes still in tact when I went to get my new set. Rachel's technique is definitely different than the other technicians and I think that's why the lashes stay on so long. My eyes are super sensitive and they flutter like crazy but Rachel is always really patient with me and makes sure nothing is burning or irritating. My lashes never feel itchy after or heavy or clumpy with the adhesive. I can't even feel them on, which I think is the goal! Rachel takes the time to look are your specific eye shape and the way your natural lashes lay and tells you what would work best for you. It was my first time getting eye lash extensions and a couple of things happened: - I was told the glue could burn but that it was normal due to the glue binding with moisture - I asked for natural looking lashes and the tech went ahead and did hybrid resulting in a look that I didn't ask for (it wasn't bad, simply not what I wanted) - I walked out with super red eyes and was told it would go away in a day - My eyes were irritated for the entire 2.5 days I had the lashes Unfortunately, the burning and redness was due to me having an allergic reaction to the glue. I had to not only pay for them to be removed but that was even more painful than the initial burning because of how irritated my eyes were (I went to Amazing Lash Studio for this). I had picked La Noir Lashes because of the amazing reviews but when I called to let them know what happened I was told to just tell them next time that I'm allergic and they can accommodate and I never heard back from the manager. It honestly feels Iike I was brushed off and ignored. The staff is nice and I was quickly serviced, but in comparison to everything else that happened it honestly didn't really matter. read more

Made an appointment over the phone. A receptionist greeted me right away when I arrived. Vicky showed me some samples and pictures and helped pick the perfect lash shape and size for me. She was gentle and worked efficiently. The lashes came out looking very natural and soft. I love them so much. Absolutely no complaints. Comfortable space too. read more

Just okay. I had glue in my eye the whole time and the lash tech said my tears didn't help lol many of the lashes in my right eye have fallen and my lashes are uneven. I've only had the lashes for 4/5 days. Lashes that have fallen out were attached to more than one natural lash. UPDATE: the owner contacted me and had me return to correct the lashes. A different lash tech filled in my lashes and made more cat eye like. 10/10 customer service and my lashes are very pretty now. read more

This is one of my go-to spots for beauty. If I'm not mistaken, a young woman by the name of Emily is either the owner or someone close too it. She is highly professional as also with her receptionist. It is a cute little boutique in the corner on Meridian. You can check in at the little kiosk with your phone number and voila--have a cute little seat on their cute little couch. Unfortunately, one experience with the front desk completely changed how I feel about this place. About two weeks ago, I had another doctor's appointment that unexpectedly ran much longer than I anticipated. Because of that, I was told I shouldn't lie flat on my back for a few hours afterward. I called about four hours before my appointment because all I was asking for was to move my appointment to later that day or another day. I wasn't trying to cancel--I simply needed to reschedule. What really frustrated me was that the front desk employee told me there was no issue and that I could reschedule online. Instead, she went ahead and canceled my appointment, which was not what I asked for, and I was then charged a cancellation fee. I even contacted my bank, and they confirmed the charge had been manually entered. At that point, it wasn't even about the fee anymore. It was the way the entire situation was handled. After being a loyal customer for more than three years, I expected a little understanding and basic customer service. Instead, I felt like I was being judged for something that was completely out of my control. I want to be fair because most of the people here have always been nice to me, but unfortunately, this interaction left such a bad impression that I no longer feel comfortable continuing to come here. Three-plus years of loyalty shouldn't feel meaningless over one situation that could have been handled so much differently. I understand businesses have cancellation policies, and I respect that. But there is a big difference between enforcing a policy and making a long-time customer feel like they don't matter. I really wish this had been handled differently because I genuinely enjoyed coming here before this experience. It's unfortunate that one interaction at the front desk was enough to make me reconsider being a customer after all these years.

I feel so sad having to write this review because I have been getting my lashes done with Emily for close to a decade. When she first started La Noir, I was so happy for her and continued to support her business. Emily does amazing work. She's fast, her lashes are always beautiful, and the retention is incredible. As she became busier, I started seeing Vicky as well, who is equally amazing. She's genuinely one of the nicest lash techs I've met, and her work is always beautiful and efficient. Even after moving out of state for work, I continued coming to La Noir whenever I was home visiting family because I trusted the quality of their work. I always tried to book with Vicky, not only because I love how she does my lashes, but also because I genuinely enjoy seeing her. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was completely different from what I've come to expect from La Noir. I was only home for the weekend and needed a last-minute appointment. Vicky wasn't available, but I was reassured that another very experienced technician could do my lashes. Given my history with the salon and the consistently great service I've received over the years, I had no reason not to trust that recommendation. I requested a hybrid set that was fuller toward the ends but still relatively light. Immediately after the appointment, my lashes looked beautiful, but they felt noticeably heavier than usual. My eyes sometimes feel a little heavy from the glue right after an appointment, so I figured I would give it a day. However, by the next day, several of the thicker lash clusters had already started falling out despite me not washing or touching them. More importantly, the extensions felt extremely heavy and were noticeably thicker than what Vicky had always used on me. I reached out to the front desk to express my concerns, and this is where my experience became particularly disappointing. Rather than trying to understand the issue, the person responding was extremely rude and dismissive. She immediately placed the blame on me, stating that I had discussed what I wanted with the technician and insisting that thicker extensions would not damage my natural lashes. I've been getting lash extensions for almost ten years. I KNOW that my natural lashes are thin, and I am well aware that using extensions that are too thick or heavy can compromise lash health. I specifically request lighter lashes for this reason, and I've never had this issue with either Emily or Vicky. The front desk then suggested that I simply return to have the lashes removed or fixed. While I understand that offering a correction is one way to resolve an issue, I tried explaining that I live out of state, drive over an hour to get to the salon, and was only visiting for the weekend. Returning was simply not feasible. I had trusted their recommendation and expected the service to be done correctly the first time. I don't think the entire burden should fall on the customer to accommodate a correction, especially when the circumstances have already been explained. What upset me most was not even the lashes themselves, but the way I was treated when I brought up a legitimate concern. After being a loyal customer for so many years, I felt as though I was being treated like a difficult customer rather than someone who genuinely supports this business. The lack of understanding, accountability, and basic courtesy was honestly shocking. I have never once felt the need to complain about La Noir because Emily and Vicky have always done such wonderful work. I still think they are incredibly talented, and this review is in no way a reflection of their skills. However, I sincerely hope the salon addresses how customer concerns are handled at the front desk. The previous front desk staff were always so kind, accommodating, and professional, and I really wish that same level of customer service was still there. Again, Emily and Vicky are fantastic and you should definitely come get your lashes done here by them, but be weary of the new front desk customer service. read more

At this point, I've worked with all of their lash techs and have loved every single result. The whole team is kind, attentive, and genuinely flexible. I always try to pre-book to secure my spot with Kimberly, but honestly, you're in great hands no matter who you see. The space itself is adorable and has such a great vibe.
