I called ahead of time to get pricing for a dip manicure and try this place out for the first time based off of the pricing that I was given With an appointment set. When I showed up, they provided service with a smile, but there were no other customers there so I wasn't sure if they were still supposed to be open and didn't see the hours posted. She seemed to be in a hurry, and the guy was doing some cleaning around us. The way she was doing my nails is not the way I'm used to, but I understand not everyone does things the same so I was keeping an open mind. At one point I thought she was about 50% done And she asked me to pay, so I did. I didn't know if she thought I was going to try to bail or if the guy wanted to close out the register but either way I did as she asked. I sat back down and put my hands back on the table and that's when she told me that I was done. She had only done my nails and had not given me a manicure. I specifically asked for a dip manicure over the phone and said dip manicure when I got there. I had not received any care for cuticles or skin around my nails nor a massage of my hands or anything, but had paid well over what I'm used to paying which included the manicure. She said the manicure was an additional charge. Needless to say, I will never be back here. I waited to see how my nails were gonna hold up And my nails ended up falling off like Lee press on nails about 2 1/2 to 3 weeks later. Normally my dip gel nails stay on for over a month and they never fall off. I would just need to get them filled. Oh well. Live and learn. read more

Updating an 8 year old review: owners Travis and wife Lily do a fantastic job taking care of their customers. Lily's artwork on nails and her originality REALLY makes my new bride happy! We've been going here since before Covid and my wife loves the seasonally themed colors and originality of Lily's work. She's done her wedding nails, Easter, July 4th fireworks, Halloween and Christmas designs and her very friendly conversations! Travis is great for pedicures with a firm, soft touch and attentiveness to detail. We live a couple blocks away and I know of several neighbors who come here monthly. Gift cards available also. Hours are 10-7, closed Mondays. Very busy during Prom season as Pacifica High School is across the street. Great with Seniors also! No communication problems either! I love this place! This is the best nail salon ever! I have been going here for years for a gel manicure, a pedicure, acrylics, eyelash extensions, and waxing! Lily is truly amazing and she does it all! She takes her time do things carefully and everything turns out lovely!! I also love having conversations with her. YOU GUYS!! I walked in here without an appointment with my boyfriend not expecting much. My sister actually recommended me this place a long time ago ,but never really had the chance to go until now. First, I wanted to point out how BAD my feet were before, I work hard shifts and ended up dropping heavy boxes on my toes. My toes looked DEAD.. Black, bruised, and just plain NASTY.. JUST LOOK at the magic Travis and Lily did on my toes. Great color choice to cover my nasty bruised up toes!! Thank you so much! You two are angels sent from above! Not to mention, the exfoliator massage was hands down the BEST PART- my boyfriend agrees with this one. We both got the "spoil me" package which was just pure bliss. I mean, who doesn't like getting massages and calluses removed? Then, I also wanted to get my nails done because why not? So I shared some concept ideas I wanted for my nails and she instantly got working. She also gave me some of her input on nail designs and I'm SO glad I listened to her. Waited a couple weeks to write this review because I wanted to see how long my nails would last and so far so good! -This is a great place to come if you don't want to engage in forced conversation the entire time you're there. They work quietly which I can appreciate because I like to relax whilst getting a mani/pedi. -Lily did my mom's pedicure and her husband did my pedicure and manicure. Both turned out much better than a lot of the other places we have been to recently. -I loved that they used some drill bit to remove my previous gel manicure instead of just using acetone and attempting to scrape it off. It didn't cost more money to remove my gel polish too which was a plus. -The one downfall was they didn't spend much time cleaning my cuticles which is one of my favorite parts of a mani/pedi--but for the price, this was still worth the money! -It's been over two weeks now and my mani (gel) and pedi (regular polish)are still in great shape! No lifting or chipping! I love how this is a smaller shop which doesn't seem to get too overwhelmingly crowded. I will definitely be back! read more

Came to get my bday nails done, experience was okay, got the gelx. Next morning, gel polish was wrinkly and had to go after work to get fixed, already an inconvenience . The day of my birthday, middle finger broke!! Had to get it fixed right before my reservation. Went there for the second time today and I'm happy to say that I'll be coming back as a regular. I always go for my usual gel mani and regular pedi. My first time, there was no polish removal and no design and it was only $35. Second time it was $50 but they did have to remove the old polishes and I got a full set with design. Both times Lily did my mani and her husband did my pedi. I love that they took their time and was very gentle. I'm a little OCD so when the nails aren't cut evenly or if there's polish on the edge it'd drive me bonkers. This hasn't been the case with them. The best thing for me is they focused on my nails and don't make forced conversation. I hate when a manicurist tries to talk my head off and pays compliments just to fill in the emptiness. If you just want to get your nails done and relax, this is the place to go. There are only 2 people working here so I would suggest making an appointment so you won't need to wait. I called ahead both times and they were ready right when I came in. One thing to point out is this is not a luxurious salon so don't expect the gel polishes to last 5, 6 weeks. I did notice after 2.5 weeks when my nails grew out that the bottom did chip a bit. My pedi stayed put all 3 weeks though. Then again I didn't pay $100 just for a full mani set. My nails grow out ridiculous fast and I always go get them done after 3 weeks anyways so it isn't a big deal for me. read more

Not that great. The person who was doing my nails was just going too fast when there was no one in salon. Second, i started bleeding from two of my tow nails and was told it happened because of infection. I had no infection. My toe nails were fine all this time and all of sudden when my nails got clipped hard, it started bleeding. My toe nails still hurt after getting pedi and manicure done. I got the gel color 55 with some sort of clear pink top coat. My nail chipped after one week! I came in asking for a acrylic manicure and spa pedicure. The male employee, I assume is her husband, started working on my nails was working extremely fast like the place was busy but there was only one person there. He started glueing the nails and I noticed that he was placing them oddly on my nails to where they were almost pointing upwards. I politely mentioned it to him but he kept stating that it was going to be fine afterwards. Then his wife, I assume, came to work on my nails and I politely again mentioned I was worried it was going to come off because the way the nail was originally glued. She again stated she will fix it but just tried to file the nail down so it's straight. She became frustrated after she filed it down and I told her it looked the same, so she threw the file and said "Okay he will finish it!" I should of just left right then and there because I paid almost a hundred dollars for a service that barley made it past a week. I love that they are very conscious about volatile chemicals and do everything they can to contain the acetone and other chemicals so that the salon has no smell when you walk in. I also appreciated that they told me to save my money and not get gel polish on my toenails. Other salons try to push that when it's entirely unnecessary. The husband and wife did a great job on my gel manicure and spa pedicure, and they were lovely to talk to. The price was also a plus, cheaper than my previous salon. Lily always does a great job whether on manicure or pedicure because she takes time to do it and her massage is on point. What I don't like is her husband and his rushing, sloppy jobs. He never uses cuticle softener or soak my hands in water to make the cuticles soft first before pushing and trimming them. He just starts pushing the cuticles on dry hands and it is uncomfortable for me; he also rushes when cutting the cuticles. By the way he doesn't do massage, he tries to finish the manicure as fast as possible then comes sit on his chair to play games on his phone.
