Is this place overpriced? Yes. Was it worth it? Sure. Don't get me wrong, the food was amazing (and this is coming from someone who had just spent a week in Florence eating freshly harvested truffles). I just think that the prices were a little steep. I guess they make up for it by providing complimentary bread with truffle infused olive oil. Seriously soooo good! We got a truffle pasta dish and a risotto. The risotto was expectedly a little more on the rich side. The service here was also great. We were frequently checked on and waters were constantly refilled. Not something you come by often in Paris.

Do you have fat wallet or deep pocket, do you appreciate the taste of gourmet food, then go ahead and make your day at La Maison de la Truffe. Everything here is catered toward serious foodies and high rollers. Perfect word to describe this place would be Truffle heaven and caviar. Calculate your finance before you go in.

You love truffle, go. You love burrata, go. You love potato, go. You love chocolate, go. I mean, just go and enjoy a fancy diner!

The Truffle rissoto is by far my fave meal at this spot. I could eat this for hours. I came back three days in a row. I truly recommend this for anyone travelling there.

Another fabulous Paris restaurant. If you like truffles...I mean if you love truffles, this is the place for you. TRUFFLE EVERYTHING. This is a very pricey restaurant that serves an amazing amount of truffle items, and they actually give you the choice of what level of truffle you want: white truffle, black truffle, expensive or super expensive. As you walk in, you will have to pass the retail counter that stocks hundreds of heavenly delights. You can buy a large variety of truffle cheeses, salts, oils, truffles, foie gras, caviar, and anything you can think of that is delicious and expensive (If I won lottery, I would walk in and ask for one of everything). The menu is full it great choices and as mentioned before, there are plenty of truffle choices. I suggest an appetizer and a main course, and if you are dining with someone, each of you should order a few items, then share to get a better variety. I found the truffles to be heavenly, opulent, mouth watering, and all in all...perfect. Once again, if you love truffles, you have to eat here.

This location is newer than the one on Place de la Madeleine and the dining room here is easily twice the size - Great if you want a nice, pleasant dining experience for lunch or dinner! There's less of a selection in the boutique section (not a bar-like section like the other location, but rather, a small corner to the right of the entrance of the restaurant) if you want to take home truffles or foie gras, but the dining room here is much larger :) The menu is great and fit for any budget. If you want to splurge, you can pay a premium and get any dish with black truffles. If you want to enjoy the luxury of having truffles without breaking the piggy bank, you have the option to order almost any dish with their seasonal truffles! For instance, their tagliatelle pasta with seasonal truffles is around 26euros, and with black truffles is around 41euros. They also have a lunch special Monday~Friday for 29euros! If you would rather dine-in instead of taking to-go, I would recommend this location over the one at Madeleine!

Truffle heaven! Fantastic wine and champagne list too! We split the white pizza with black truffles for an appetizer for four of us. There was a generous amount of truffles on the pizza. And it was delicious! I had the risotto with scampi and seasonal truffle, which was very flavorful and not too heavy. My husband had the truffle burger. Be sure to ask for a medium well or well burger or a medium is more like medium rare in the states. The burger was also fabulous! Fantastic evening dining outside in Paris!

These smaller bistro type eateries are the lifeblood of the local cuisine. They consistently offer reasonably priced dishes that are full of flavor and technique. The wine and drink options are well catered to the menu and they provide options for most price points. The service we experienced was exactly what you want... our server had plenty of suggestions based on the offerings of the day. The service was attentive and responsive... not much more than you could ask for. I had the duck breast being offered... it was served alongside crispy potatoes, green beans, and a salad. Adding in the onion soup and a glass of wine... it quickly became a King's dinner at a very reasonable price. I would be more than happy to eat here again and look forward to exploring the rest of the menu offering many local and classic French options.

Like others have said, it's super small inside, so you'll get to know your neighbors really well. But your attention will be more focused on the food they bring out. I had the lamb with thyme sauce and my wife had the confit duck leg. Don't be afraid to pick the sauce of the day over the regular honey sauce. The sauce of the day on the day we went was a blackberry sauce which was crazy good. With a bottle of wine at 24 euros and both entrees under 20 euros, you couldn't really beat a meal of that quality in many places around Paris for that price. It was only after I ate at Le Potager did I see it had a bunch of great reviews on Yelp. It's definitely earned all those stars.

We found Le P'tit and when we inquired if they would serve us they said yes if we ordered immediately. It was a few minutes after ten. We ordered at the bar then were seated at our tables. The waitstaff were incredibly nice. They brought whatever we needed including ketchup which, despite being American, we didn't want or need. :) The food was delicious. I had an almost perfect poached egg -just a little too cooked. They had a fair amount of vegetarian options for the person in our party to get a decent meal: eggs, salad and beignets de mozzarella, which I hate to burst your bubble in advance, is a very French and more appealing way to say Mozzarella sticks. They were still good for the record. Perhaps everyone should call them that and aim for that level of taste. Fried just right and a fair amount of cheese. I ordered the duck legs-no complaints there. It was tender and the side of potatoes weren't the top of my list for the evening but there was more than enough of them to share with others. The chocolate fondant was voted best dessert by the table. It won no contest. I'm glad we stopped in for an authentic food experience.

This place was okay, located in the Paris area yet somehow not very accommodating to tourists? So weird. Anyways, my friend and I came in here after a day of traveling and were starving. We wanted something light and decided to try the cheese that everyone talks about, and it was pretty decent. The prices were a bit wild (like everything else in Paris), but I guess that's what we get for stopping into the first place we saw on the street. The menu is pretty eclectic, so don't expect to stop in here with children and be able to get a grilled cheese and fries, it's more of that stuff that people in America eat when they come into some wealth and acquire a new money accent (you know the type).

We booked over the phone while on the Bateaux Mouches river tour as we were tired and hungry after a day of sightseeing and we wanted a neighborhood bistro for great unpretentious food where we could stagger back to our beds around the corner after. It was late when we arrived but the bistro was still bustling, our server was super friendly and the food came super fast, which was great as we were ravenous by then! We ordered what was probably one of the cheapest bottles of red wine on the menu but it was so much better than anything we pay twice the price for at home... because hey we're in France, right? Excellent food, friendly people, great service - couldn't ask for more, go there! Side note: walking past next day on way to the metro we were in need of a bathroom and the barman was so nice to let me use theirs even tho I'd just walked in off the street: I made sure after to thank him for the amazing dinner night before so he knew I'd been a customer and most important, the loos were nice and clean (again not the standard in much of Paris!) which was great as you know what they say about clean toilets = a clean kitchen!
