Ordered take out for lunch today and it did not disappoint! We got nachos, tamales, a torta (couldn't even wait to take a picture of this before I tried a bite oops) and a side of guacamole and everything was sooo yummy! They put our order together very quickly. There's such a variety on their menu I'll have to go back to try more!

I stopped by to give them a try since they popped on a Google search for food around the area. They are a small business in a plaza with inside seating. They offered various lunch specials or dinner entrees that you can see up on the wall to give you an idea of what you may like to try. The 2 people in the restaurant are attentive and preparing the order did not take long. I ordered the shredded chicken tacos special and came with rice and beans. I got chips and salsa as well since I dined in. The salsas were good, the tortillas a bit greasy and it needed a bit more protein per taco, just an observation. It is a good choice if you are looking for a restaurant around the area. Keep in mind the charge a minimal credit card fee that I caught while checking out. It did not bother me, since I was there to get food. Fyi.

One of my husband and I favorite Mexican spots. Everything we have had has been delicious. The service is always great & friendly. We have had their birria tacos, carnes asada tacos, burritos. Today we tried their chilaquiles & enchiladas with salsa verde. Like everything else it was delicious. But honestly anything with their carne asada is gonna HIT. It's a drive to come here but we happily do it, to get the food we get here.

been coming here for a few years now and I just discovered they have the BEST nachos ever. Without a doubt, these are the most flavorful and packed nachos i've had from a restaurant. the box weight a couple pounds for sure. La Fonda is the best around

Have you ever entered a business and the owners are just so nice you hope your experience is good. Well, don't worry, your experience at La Fonda de Ocoee will meet your expectations. It is a modest and simple restaurant located on the NW corner of Maguire and W. Colonial offering just very good food. The recipes are genuine and faithful to the Mexican traditions. The prices are very reasonable, service is very friendly and outstanding. The beer selection is in the front cooler and is adequate. It is a small place, very popular with a strong "take out" business. If you want to support local businesses, this is your place. We are from Texas, and the food and salsa is just not spicy enough for us, otherwise, it would be a strong 5 star. Let me also add, their health department scores are all A's.

I absolutely love this gem of a Mexican Place!! The food was delicious and the staff amazing. We ate chips and salsa, side order of guacamole, shrimp and steak fajitas, shrimp salad and a stuffed cheese pepper. I am looking forward to going back again soon to try other food items and to see the wonderful staff.

Everything about this visit was great! My girlfriend and I decided to try a place we hadn't tried before. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's a quick service type establishment but they do have seating inside of you want to sit. Most dinners come with rice and beans which I love because it is a must when you have Mexican food. Chips and salsa were fresh and tasted like they made the salsa in house which I appreciated. Overall the price was reasonable and I would go back again. Next time I'll try a margarita. The sangria was really good it tasted like koolaide so be careful because the wine will sneak up on you lol. I had the Jamaica juice which came in a very large cup which I didnt even need a refill for.

Hands down the best Mexican food I've ever had in my life. This is my second time going and my experience was phenomenal both times. The food is incredibly tasty, the portions are huge, and the price value is amazing. Service is quick, warm, and lovely. Ambiance is perfect- a cozy, homey atmosphere that made the eating experience so comforting. Will be back again and again and again.

Just left this restaurant. Attended based on neighborhood recommendations. Upon entering the restaurant, Salvador, the owner, greeted us and explained the menu options. First impression, spic and span clean! Ate complimentary chips and homemade salsa while waiting on our chimichangas. Chimi's were served piping hot and accompanied with refried beans (freshly made) and yellow rice. Everything was on point! Nothing spicy, unless you request it. Standard coke products, bottled beer, and 3 cases of bottled drinks. Reasonably priced and giant servings (enough for lunch tomorrow). Definitely will be back soon!

The chicken Sope was amazing and easily one of the highlights of the meal. The tacos were excellent across the board. The chicken and asada were both very good, but the al pastor was the clear favorite, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The rice and beans were also really good and paired nicely with everything. It's a great place for a casual lunch with quality food, generous portions, and great service.

They offer a great variety of traditional Mexican dishes like quesabirria, sopes, quesadillas, tostadas, and more, but I already knew I was going straight for the tacos. They're sold individually, so it's perfect for trying a few. I ordered the asada, shrimp, carnitas, and pastor, all on corn tortillas, and every single one had no misses. And let's talk about the salsa bar... easily one of the best. The place itself is small and super casual with just a few tables, so keep that in mind if you're dining in, but I also noticed lots of people grabbing to go orders. Overall, I loved everything about it and will 100% be back next time I'm in town.

We've basically trained all the servers to know our orders without even asking lol. The place itself is cute, over the last year, so they've been doing a lot of cosmetic updates that bring it a little bit more modern than it was, they have music playing, but it's not too loud and you can still enjoy your dinner and conversations But now to get to the important stuff, I usually rotate through the same three meals, nachos, quesadilla or chimichanga. And they're all solid options for a picky eater like me. Today I had the quesadilla and was quite surprised by the portion size, it was bigger than normal. I don't know if that's the new regular or not, but it was plenty of food for three meals for me. On the other hand, my mom ordered the chicken salad, and felt that it was smaller than it usually is, she usually has leftovers, but not today. Overall, the place is cute, the staff is friendly, and the food is good, would definitely recommend for a solid Mexican dinner!
