I love stumbling upon a cute little cafe/coffee shop when I need a caffeine fix. I am a coffee snob and a former Starbucks addict, so impressing me takes a bit of work. La Floridita "A Latin Cafe" came up on my Yelp search while driving through Beaverton on a lazy Sunday afternoon; I was intrigued and had to stop by. Parking was terrible, however, there was a market going on.The shop is super cute, and the muted pastel colors and lighting gave me a calming feel. The barista was really helpful in suggesting one of their specialty drinks, which come with either Cuban or Colombian coffee. We chose one of each of the following with Cuban coffee:CINAMMON CORTADO: 2 shots of espresso, cinammon, brown sugar + milkCAFE CON LECHE: Cuban or Colombian espresso w/ steamed milk + sugarWe loved our coffees! If you love strong, bold coffee prepared properly in a true European fashion, you will love this coffee. If you want a sugary "Dutch Bros"-style drink with a ton of milk, this is not your coffee/latte. They also serve authentic pastries and savory bites. We were not hungry, but we will definitely return to try them.

Consider my socks knocked off! Delicious, flaky pastries with fantastic fillings, both savory and sweet. I pretty much tried one of everything in the case and was happy with every bite. Their coffee is also delicious and the ambience in the shop is lovely. Colorful and open, airy even in a smallish space, it has the perfect Cuban vibes and flavors in a most unexpected part of the world. Service was friendly and quick. I was only visiting from out of town but I came back twice!

Their coffee and pastelitos are very good ! Excellent service and nice atmosphere. They also have a variety of nice places to sit inside

This place reminds me of Porto's. It's small with limited seatings but super cute. We had pastelito (beef, guava) and beef papa rellena. My fav were beef pastelito and guava. I enjoyed the beef papa rellena, though I'm still holding out for the one from Porto's. Highly recommend and I'm definitely coming back.

This place has a very limited selection of pastries and coffee choices. I ordered the cold brew and it was unsweetened for you to add the sweetness to your liking. The coffee itself had a different taste and needed cream or something else I couldn't put my finger on. The pastries I ordered were tasty. Marionberry with cheese and one with Nutella inside. They were out of the special of the month that sounded tasty. I'll come back to try something else sometime.

This Cuban coffee shop has been on my radar so I'm glad we finally got the opportunity to go! We came here on a weekday morning and it was quiet and pretty chill. We got a couple of Pastelitos (Beef and the Guava and Cheese) and a Cafe Con Leche. The pastelitos were crispy on the outside and packed with filling. I really liked the tangy sauce that came with the Beef Pastelito. The Guava and Cheese Pastelito was decently large and so delicious, I love the flavor combination of guava and cream cheese. The coffee was huge and quite strong but smooth, surprisingly not too sweet either. Normally it's difficult for me to finish my coffees especially for a larger size but I had no problem finishing this cup. I highly recommend coming here if you want to satisfy your craving for some Cuban sweets and coffee!

Finally got a chance to visit after remembering La Floridita from the Beaverton Farmers Market years ago! A well decorated space with music and amazing treats! The owner was sweet to suggest making something fresh as I asked about a specific item, but as I came in close to close I got something else. Got a guava pastelito and marionberry cheese pastelito to go, it was warmed up for me. The balance of pastry to filling was a good ratio and just the right amount of flaky! Service was great and fast. Def want to come back to try more items as they have savory and sweet.

Super cute space! Delicious strong coffee, I love the croquetas and guava pastelito! My work gets them catered sometimes and it's 10/10. Service is always great, this spot has become my go to in Beaverton!! Truly cannot find guava pastelitos and croquetas like these anywhere else in Portland!

Yum yum yum! An unassuming shop tucked into the streets of downtown beaverton. Their store was beautifully curated and had an bright vibrance to the decor. Limited seating options but the perfect spot to stop in for a quick treat. This green sauce serviced with the savory pastries was awesome

Was in the area and needed a place to get some work done, I had heard about this place previously so I stopped in. First of all-- it is so cute! Everything in here is beautiful, from the baked goods, to the drinks and interior of the shop. I found a good place to sit with a lot of sunlight. Everything was delicious and the staff was very friendly. Thank you La Floridita, will be back soon!

La Floridita's all about bringing Miami sunshine to the Pacific Northwest. They serve pastelitos, croquetas, cafecitos, and more. They used to be a stand at the farmers market, and they recently opened this brick and mortar in the heart of Beaverton. For a new business with such trendy decor, I thought the prices were very reasonable ($2.50-5.50 per item!!). It's fun to get a couple of these finger food snacks, and a coffee, and enjoy the bright colors in the store. Love their lil sample drinks. Staff was friendly and made a good coffee recommendation.

Surprise box of savory and sweet items.

So far, we've been here twice. It helps that we live within walking distance. The staff is friendly and the dining area is spacious and clean. The food portion:price is really good IMHO. One of those places where you really can't go wrong with whatever you order. It won't hurt to give this spot a try because it won't break your wallet. While a certain app led us here, great food and service will keep us coming back for more.

Cerdo frito w/ Tostones ($13.95) - The dish comes with eight pieces of seasoned and deep fried pork. It's fried long enough to make it crisp but dries out the interior. The rich seasoning, salty with a lime salt-like tang, creates a red colored skin over the meat. The fried meat is served on a bed of red beans and rice. It's seasoned well and has a good bitey texture. I ordered the cerdo frito with tostones. They include three pieces that aren't nearly as smashed and thin as others I've eaten. This means they are able to show a more tender and starchy interior rather than being almost completely crispy throughout. They are quite interesting in that they puff up like pita bread, leaving an air pocket in the center. They top the tostones with a bit of crumbled salty cheese and some salsa. Unfortunately these two elements soak into the tostones a little, causing them to become somewhat soggy. There's a tiny side of slaw, less than a small ice cream scoops worth. It's filled with crunchy vegetables and is in a really sweet dressing. I wonder if they purchase it in bulk from the Reser's down the street. (4/5) Overall, my meal at Casa Latina was a nice way to refill before our drive back up to Seattle.
