This is my first visit to Fly Chai, and I consider myself a chai snob. I drink it every day, and their chai is some of the most delicious I've ever had! I'm definitely coming back!
This was a very cute and eclectic place on the outskirts of downtown Beaverton. Upon entering, there were bright lights and hues of every color and decorations of every shape. Everything is neat and orderly downstairs. There is also in upstairs nook with several couches and tables. There was one person working and she was very accommodating and able to give us detailed descriptions of the different flavors. Specifically for the event, we received a flight of three different chai drinks. The signature drink was very robust and flavorful. The fire starter had quite a kick from the black cardamom and pepper. It is definitely not for the faint of heart as the heat accumulated. I felt like the pepper shined above the other flavors of the chai too much. The last drink was the golden chai and it was probably my least favorite. The two turmeric was overpowering. It just tasted too earthy and musky. Prices were decent. It is comparable to other drink establishments. It is expected that you pick up your drink when your name is called and that you bus your table when you are finished. It was quite a balancing act to try to walk upstairs without spilling lol. Overall a really cool joint to try out. If I'm the area I would consider coming again to try out their matcha and food bites.
Great Chai varieties! I tried the chocolate, the regular and the vanilla. I would drink any of those again. They warm up the ceramic cups before they put the chai in it. This made a big difference and I really like this touch. Can't wait to come back!
I went there twice and the 2nd time for the Yelp week. It's nice to see a cool new spot in the downtown Beaverton. I got to meet the owner, who is quite friendly and welcoming, shared story about his mom's chai recipes. The place has been transformed to bright, welcoming, fun theme and vibrant, colorful ambiance. The staff were also helpful and friendly. They were happy to explain and chat about process of making the different kinds of Teas. I had 3 flavors of chai to try, the heritage, golden, and the spicy fire-starter as part of the Yelp week. The other time, I had Rose City, Jaggery Brown Sugar, and Chocolate. The golden version was a bit off both times, but it was nice to discuss with the staff, how to settle and fix the mixture. The Rose one was creative (they used the rose water from the Indian store that's added to foods). The spicy one was good. Some fusion ones were interesting but not strong enough for me. You can taste the cardamom, ginger, spices, turmeric, jaggery in the different concoctions with sweetness and spiciness. I like the pistachio and garlic buns, good flavor but smaller price to value scale. The store is location in a great location and improving, hope they can stabilize and make consistent versions. There is a good big varieties of Teas and snacks to try out something new in every visit.
Fly Chai is incredible! The chai is authentic which is hard to find and you can customize them based on your preferences. They have other drink options as well such as Matcha which were also very tasty! The staff and owner were super friendly and knowledgable. Additionally, the ambience was colorful and welcoming!
This new spot has an endearing, intimate setup that could be something special, but the kitchen needs to step it up if they expect people to return. Right now, the chai misses the mark - it's just very flat and lacking those deep spice notes you look for. The snack selection also feels an awful lot like defrosted, warmed-up freezer items rather than anything fresh. It's entirely possible they're just working through some new-spot troubles. I really hope they sort it out, because the physical space is great, and honestly, if they can just master a genuinely great cup of chai, the neighborhood will absolutely show up for them.
Wow I can't say enough good things about this place! 5/5 for service, ambiance, and taste. Workers were super nice and answered my many questions about the different flavors, they even let me try the dry jaggery melt that's in their brown sugar chai. I ended up getting the iced jaggery brown sugar chai and it was delicious! Perfect amount of spice with a little sweetness. I like how you can modify the spice and sweetness level to your liking. Will be back soon to try more flavors!

The girl working did ask me how strong I wanted it and did I want to mix it up a bit. I'm rather clueless on Chai so I asked her to try to make it how she would in a flight. I plan on going back and revisiting the flight that I loved the first time. It's a very cute place and the staff is very friendly.
Love the ambiance! Great vibe, cool story behind the business. This place changed my mind about chai, and converted me into a fan. There is a high ability to customize your drink beyond just ordering a basic drink. They are open late night, the cafe has two floors, and you can buy your own chai mix for home. My favorite part is that they offer pistachio milk. Service was a bit slow, but it is a newer business and they are very attentive. There's a small parking lot in the front, pay for parking in the back, and street parking around.
Sweet little shop in Beaverton- great for a delicious cup of chai. I was wanting an alternative to coffee and a small local shop to support and heard that this was opening in Beaverton! When I walked in the ambiance was uplifting and the aroma of the spices delicious. Was greeted right away and was made comfortable to ask questions. She was helpful in my selection. The venue is clean and comfortable. There is a great area to chill out out friends or by yourself upstairs. Next time I will try their snacks .

What an awesome place! The space is so fun with wonderful vibes!! There's even a parking lot, which is so great for the area. The chai was delicious- we did a hot golden chai, a hot chocolate chai, & an ice strawberry matcha... & we can't with to go back! Their food menu looks unique & tasty too, so we'll definitely indulge on our next visit!

Fly Chai is the perfect comfort pick if you want a great cup of chai without all the fake syrups and customized to your taste. I had both the cheese & chutney and the rose pistachio bun maskas with a hot Jaggery Brown Sugar Chai with whole milk, 50% spice, extra sweet - it was all SOOOO yummy. The vibe is a chill coffee shop type with a bit more color and artwork all around. Theres also a little shop with artwork and merch for sale. The staff were super friendly and walk you through the ordering process if you're new. I like my chai slightly sweeter and less spicy, and mine was fantastic. They have high chairs if you want to bring the baby and overall it's a cute spot. There's an upstairs area I didn't have time to check out - but Im sure it's just as cozy as downstairs. Parking wise it's a bit tricky but if its a weekday you'll likely be fine. Enjoy your tea! I'll be back, lots! read more

Out of 6 flavors sampled we found 2 to be flavorful and to our liking and for us, worth ordering a bigger size on a return visit. The signature and Firestarter. The signature is the heritage blend of Neil, the owners mother's recipe. This flavor profile has so many notes and you get an array of spices swirling around in your mouth and tongue. The Firestarter is just slightly spicy and hits the back of your throat. The rose flavor has a slight rose forward flavor but was actually very pleasant. That is not a flavor I would normally order so it was nice to be able to try this when ordering the flight. I felt the vanilla and the golden were a bit on the bland side. The brown sugar was ok but I will stick to the signature with all the spice flavors of the rainbow! We started with the basic flavor profiles and now know on the next visit how to tweak the spices or sweetener to our liking. Neil was so nice and informative. You can see his excitement and how proud he is of his families traditions especially his mom's signature chai with fresh ground and blended spices. The space is very welcoming. There is a loft area upstairs that has more seating and a few tables. read more

tried the chai flight which was great! i've never tried authentic chai before and so this was great. each were very well spiced and not too sweet. the flight comes with a normal, turmeric, and chili chai. We are heavy tea drinkers and I was stoked to see a chai-specific spot open up! We both got the signature chai, mild, regular sweetness with whole milk. It was perfectly spiced, and the gud sweetener balanced everything out. Neil and his staff were really helpful and let us smell/taste things prior to ordering. We just visited this place and blown away by the authenticity and ambience of the place. The best chai we ever tasted - we had jaggery brown sugar chai, Rose City chai and Firestarter chai and they all were amazing. They served them in clay looking pots. And there are "Bun Muskas" which we never heard before, but amazingly flavorful snacks (looked like sliders). Excellent service. They have two floors to sit and enjoy the chai. read more

I came twice during their soft opening and enjoyed trying their signature gud chai and golden gud chai over ice with oat milk. I also tried their classic muska. Everything was so delicious and flavorful. I will return to try more from their menu.
