About Fly Chai
Fly Chai is Beaverton’s modern masala chai house — where heritage meets hype. We handcraft every drink with purpose: fresh spices blended in-house, naturally sweetened Gud syrup, and creamy, balanced flavor that celebrates India’s chai culture in a whole new light.
From traditional hot clay kulhad cups to pour-your-own teapot flights, Fly Chai turns each visit into a sensory ritual — rich aroma, smooth texture, and a bold, flavorful pour that hits different.
Our menu blends wellness and indulgence: turmeric-rich Golden Gud for calm focus, Firestarter for a spicy kick, and creamy Sweet Milk buns and ice-cream floats for a modern twist. Everything is grounded in real ingredients — no artificial syrups or shortcuts.
The vibe? Fast-paced, bright, and community-driven. Think warm color, upbeat music, and positive energy. Whether you’re sipping solo, connecting with friends, or exploring new chai blends, Fly Chai is built for moments that feel good and taste even better.

History
Established in 2025.
Fly Chai was founded in 2025 after recognizing that most chai served in the U.S. didn’t reflect the real craft, flavor, or cultural roots behind it. The shop was built around a simple idea: make chai the way it’s supposed to be made—fresh-brewed Assam tea, real masala, Gud syrup, and proper straining—executed with modern systems and speed.
The concept was developed by Neil Bhatnagar, a longtime hospitality operator who grew up with chai as a daily ritual in his home.
Fly Chai opened its first location in Beaverton, OR, featuring a tight menu, clay cup service, chai flights, in-house masala blends, and an upstairs lounge designed for conversation and downtime. The goal has been the same since day one: offer real chai, made correctly, and create a space that reflects both heritage and modern hospitality.
Meet the Business Owner: Neil B.
I grew up with real chai made at home every day and built Fly Chai to bring that same standard to Beaverton. My background is in hospitality operations, running food service and support services across major health systems. Fly Chai is the intersection of my family’s chai culture and the systems-driven approach I’ve used my entire career. Real ingredients, real technique, no shortcuts.
