Wow! Best breakfast sandwiches we've ever had, so much that we returned the next day. The first day I had the craven and I would have never guessed its ingredients would go together but they did! Delicious. Next day I tried the hashy, add tomato. It was at least as good as the craven. My family got the hashy the first day and liked it so much they ordered it again the next day. All the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It's in an unassuming small strip, once you go in you see a small little area where they sell cute little gifts and a nice looking seating area. This was a super busy day since it was 4th of July weekend. Friday morning meeting but we waited about 45 min for our drinks and avocados toasts. The area at the front of the shop when you enter has a bunch of cute and funny items that you can browse and kill a bit of time while you are waiting. It also took 10-15 minutes to order our food and coffee; so a total of an hour to receive the items. It was all very tasty and I would come back hoping it's not super busy to this point. I haven't been to Ki Coffee in a long time and took my friend there for the first time! They now have more cute little things to sell such as stickers, bags, magnets, etc. It was very fun to enjoy all the cute things! I got strawberry matcha half sweet. It was super refreshing! I think the drink was close to $7 or so. The I could taste the matcha and the strawberry puree was very nice, a good balance! Stopped by with a friend on a Friday morning for a quick breakfast before starting the day. Parking is super easy in their shared lot and when you enter you order at the register and seat yourself. They had a good variety of beverages and food to choose from. I got the london fog matcha and I believe the awkward aardvark breakfast sandwich. My friend got the passionfruit matcha and the hashy breakfast sandwich. Both of our drinks were from the seasonal menu so they might not be there year round! We both really loved our drinks and sandwiches. They were filling and comforting and perfect for the chilly day. They also have a little shop in the front with a bunch of cute knick knacks for sale. I don't know what Ibwas thinking with that first review I left.... wow, a decade ago! Because I went to McDonald's the next day and it was filthy in comparison. Now, I don't go to Ki a whole lot anymore, mainly because it's so packed. But when I do get coffee here, I just order it to go. I live within walking distance anyway.... Their quality just keeps improving as the years go by. A coffee I order today is just as good as it was whenever they first introduced it years ago. My go-to used to be The Goblin King, but these days I'm all about The Bearhug. I dropped my rating a little because it's too busy and congested to keep calling it my favorite hangout. But the coffee is always excellent and the staff is super cool too, even if you only get to chat for 10 secondsat a time. read more

A very cute coffee shop/store in one! Their merch are all very cute, although a bit overpriced. The drink prices, on the contrary, were surprisingly fairly priced! I ordered the matcha latte with oak milk and that came out fairly quickly and the bagel sandwich followed a couple minutes after. I ordered the salted caramel latte for my husband after I finished and that took about 10 mins or a little more. I came at a good time but they got a bit busy after I ate. As for taste. The bagel sandwich was good. The bagel bacon, avo and tomato is a terrific combo. They didn't skimp out on the cream cheese either! The matcha is a bit light for my liking, but the coffee was good. Ki Coffee has recently become a go to for me in the mornings. I've been on an energy drink kick lately and I love how I can still get a cafe experience with their lotus energy drinks. I also enjoy their bagels but they have many breakfast and lunch options to choose from! Sometimes they get busy but the service has been good nonetheless. 40 minutes and I'm still waiting for two iced lattes..... Literally, an iced latte with no additives, nothing. They have been exceptionally rude and yelled at me twice. Once because a girl asked me my name and I took a step over to tell her and another staff came over and physically made gestures and a scene about my foot being over a line. I tried to tell them it's been 30 minutes but she corrected and said 10. I've included the screen shot..... 46 minutes total for 2 iced lattes. Arrived at 1:20, stood in line to order until 1:31 and my name was finally called at 2:05pm. If they would have at least been polite, I probably could have tolerated the wait but the rude customer service, subpar coffee and the long wait its unacceptable in an area with so many options. First time here, my wife is on a mission to try as many coffee spots in Beaverton and Hillsboro. Seating is maximized here, which takes away from the overall ambiance since it can get pretty crowded. That being said I do appreciate that there is enough seating, so I understand that it is a tough to find the middle ground. I do love the small storefront that several coffee shops have, and they did have some very adorable bamboo stickers! I only ordered food, so I can't really speak to the coffee. I had the Plate#3 which came with bacon, sausage, eggs, avocado, toast, and hashbrown. The stand out was by FAR the fried eggs. They were cooked perfectly where the yolk is still runny but there was a slight crisp around the edges. Honestly the rest was a little on the disappointing side. I know there are people who enjoy either crunchy or soft bacon, but the bacon here was crispy to the point where it was almost burnt. In contrast the toast felt barely toasted. And the Hashbrown was one of those store bought oval shaped hashbrowns. read more

This is such a great space for coffee, breakfast, and working/studying. They have plenty of seating available. The staff were all very friendly. I appreciated that they don't charge extra for alternative milks and they offer gluten free bread as an option. I got the Full Metal Alchemist Avocado Toast on gluten free bread, and it was good, but a little heavy on the salt. My colleague got the Anam A Nom on gluten free bread and it looked like adorably overstuffed tea sandwiches due to the small size of the bread slices. I really enjoyed the little shop area of cute little gifts and stationery. There were really cute Japanese greeting cards and posters, different types of merch, washi tape, stickers, local gifts, and so much more! Ample seating and very fair prices in the menu compared to similar places in the area. I ordered a bagel sandwich and a French press. The food was delicious but the coffee was a bit cool for my taste (tepid at best). Plenty of outlets for working. The WiFi was consistent. My only knock is that the bathrooms were locked with a code... but I guess that's Portland in 2025. Staff were friendly and pleasant. Everyone seemed happy! That's always a perk. I'm a tired and overstimulated mom and was looking forward to my ONE morning (that I had to difficultly schedule) where no one needs me so I can focus on some personal passion projects and some work for a school volunteer project. I chose to go to Ki Coffee because I've always enjoyed my time there, and I love the drinks and food. The counter staff even warned me when I ordered that there was a long wait for food. I told her that was fine because I was just ordering a drink. HOWEVER, I just waited 28 minutes for a latte. Unfortunately, this is my first yelp review, & my first & last time at Ki Coffee. I came this morning to try their ube latte and vanilla chai latte. When I ordered my two beverages there were only two people who had ordered ahead of me. We both (the party ahead of me) proceeded to wait 20+ minutes for our drinks. When I finally received my drinks they were not hot. The "12oz chai" was really 8oz of chai & 2oz of bubbly foam. Same with the "16oz ube latte," 12oz of latte & 4oz of bubbly foam. The shop was filled with smoke. I left with two bad lattes, smelling like I had just worked a shift manning the fryer, second hand smoke, & time I'll never get back. I have heard great things about this coffee shop and finally got the chance to visit this past week. This shop is in a small strip mall area that shares a big parking lot with a few other businesses but there are plenty of spots. Walking inside you can see the whole store from the entrance, nice open spaces with tables and spots for lots of merchandise. To your right upon entry is a storefront full off unique paper and ceramic goods, and random (but extremely adorable) knickknacks. The menu is pretty straight forward at the ordering counter and it looked like they had a counter for pick ups/online orders close to the door separate from the inside pick-up counter. We took a little time deciding what to drink and didn't mind that we had to wait a little for the staff to take our order (they seemed a little busy in the back making food orders). Service was friendly. I got the hot spicy chai latte with oat milk and my friend got the hot cardamom chai with regular milk. Both drinks came out to the perfect temperature and if it was an option I would love to have a 1/2 and 1/2 of each bc that would be the perfect combination - best of both worlds and preferences! We didn't get any food but the sandwiches we see other people have looked delicious. There was a little pesky fly that was flying around while we were sitting the back table. I came here to meet up with a friend on a Friday morning and it wasn't too busy. There was a decent amount of people but we easily found a spot outside to enjoy the nice weather. I ordered the Ube latte and quite enjoyed it! You definitely taste the Ube but not overpowering and the coffee itself was so pleasing to look at. I really appreciated the anime references on their menu! For food, I got the One Punch avocado toast. I really enjoyed it but felt like the ingredients were oddly placed on the toast in order to make it aesthetically pleasing. One side had the pickled onion and the other had the radish so I didn't realize my first bite was all onion and I didn't have any more for my other bites. I wish the ingredients were evenly placed so I had a bite of all the ingredients in one bite. And honestly, quite expensive for what you get in my opinion. Overall, I love Ki Coffee! Great coffee and great food, but they are never staffed enough to keep up with the number of orders in a timely manner. I went a couple of weeks ago during the morning rush, and there were only two people working, one cooking while the other did the register and made the drinks. The staff were obviously stressed, and I don't blame them. Today there are four people working, but it is still not enough to keep up. This seems to be the trend anytime I'm here. It puts the staff in a really crummy situation. So with that said, if you have the time to wait 30 minutes for a coffee and a bagel, it's worth it. This place was a super cute local coffee shop to host an event at. My friend had a pop up here with her business and I wanted to support her so we came out. I know that bacon is a love language to many people but I haven't been able to smell it without being nauseous for over 10 years since I was first pregnant. And the smell was OVERWHELMING to me upon opening the door. I realize this isn't a thing for most people but just like cigarette smoke, I am super smell sensitive to any scent and this was bad to me. I loved their cute crafty items and grabbed a couple of birthday and Christmas gifts for friends and family. They have a decent coffee selection and an okay vegan menu as well to choose from. Just in comparison to other coffee shops I wasn't impressed. I felt like the menu wasn't great and the space itself was awkward and VERY hot inside because of the closed off setup. Ki coffee is one of my favorite places to go. They do the best Matcha around. Smooth and velvety deliciousness. We are so glad they survived the pandemic, they made lots of adjustments to their hours to help them survive. Despite them not being super close to us we really try to visit at least once a week or more if in the area. Things have definitely come back to normal and they have increased their brunch options which we always would enjoy on the weekends. They always have lots of fun and cool things for sale as you enter. A wall of great art from local artists that you can buy from. Their coffee drink names are fun and absolutely delicious. I have never had a drink I did not like. The staff and owners are always super friendly and happy which makes it even a better place to go to. Whenever we have guests in town we love to take them here as it is a wonderful experience and fantastic coffee. read more

This coffee shop is so cute!! When you walk in there's an area with a bunch of gifts, stickers, notebooks and more that you could easily browse for the duration of your visit. I was tempted to buy a few things but was able to focus in to get my morning coffee. The staff was really friendly and I asked them to surprise me with a drink since so many items sounded delicious. They also have food and it smelled amazing inside the cafe. Don't make the same mistake I did- buy some food!! I wish I had gotten some, my friend went back after I left and said everything she tried was delicious. As for the coffee I did get- it was so tasty! I'm pretty sure they chose the Goblin King as my surprise drink, it has white chocolate, caramel and vanilla and was just what I needed to get my day started. I highly recommend this place for all your coffee cravings!!! 10/10 Ki Coffee came highly recommended by many people and my boyfriend and I finally tried it! I consider myself a coffee snob and they absolutely killed this latte. The mix of vanilla, honey, and cinnamon is the perfect balance and you can taste the quality of the coffee throughout the latte.
