Excellent service. Great coffee. Regular food. Transcending decor. Easy parking. Following my friend Dennis' recommendations, my wife and I drove to Baristopia to enjoy an afternoon coffee and snack. SERVICE What captivated me at first, beyond the super clean premises with everything neatly organized and accessible, was the friendliest service that included a smile from ear to ear and banter, something I haven't experienced in many months, maybe in a couple of years! To top it off, we didn't wait but 2 minutes after paying, and our entire order was ready! FOOD The espresso double shot was exceptionally delicious. Creamy, foamy, the right balance between sweetness and bitterness. We tried the Blueberry Hand-pie ($5) and it's, as you'd expect, sugary and crunchy, however is no match to the Date Sugar Scone ($4.75) which was highly recommend it, the best in our opinion! The Zucchini muffin ($4.75) is deceiving as it looks like chocolate but it tastes like you're eating healthy. It has little pieces of green something, to demonstrate that it's actually vegan, and probably made by vegans. And the label says that it's vegan. And did I mention that it's vegan?! The Mocha needed sugar to add up to the sugary chocolatey flavor of major coffee shops. Not really my favorite, but then again, I'm here to try real coffee as recommended by my friend Dennis! New coffee spot opened up at West End District in Beaverton. (Located next to Prime Taphouse) I had a business meeting here which was a perfect cozy spot with plenty of tables. There is an area with a few couches by a fireplace. I ordered the iced Tiramisu latte that was a seasonal special. The coffee drink was pretty strong and not sweet enough for my liking and I did not get tiramisu flavor from this drink at all. You can taste the quality of the coffee because they roast their own beans right here on site! The price was a bit high for the size. read more

You wouldn't know this place exists unless you happen to be in the area searching for coffee shops -- the location is pretty inconspicuous. I actually had to look around a bit to find it, but now that I have, I won't forget it. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a peaceful, calm ambience with comfortable and cozy seating -- and plenty of it. The coffee is what truly stole the show for me. I ordered the Ocean Latte, and it was absolutely fantastic -- smooth, balanced, and unique. I also tried the pistachio and rose croissant, which was mouthwateringly good. Overall, such a hidden gem. We were very thrilled to see another coffee shop open in the TV hwy area, and decided to pay a visit on a Friday morning. As we arrived, there were already a few customers lounging in the store. The space was big and welcoming, as there were plenty of windows making it feel light and airy. The decor is whimsical and the space was very clean. We ordered two drinks and pastries, and found seats at the sofa area. The staff were friendly and prepared our drinks right away. Both our Latte and Capucchino were crafted with care, the beautiful foam art made the experience extra special. Our pastries also arrived fresh and warm. I was able to get some work done thanks to the free Wifi. The signal was good so I was able to work without any hiccups. Service was good. Everyone was nice. I ordered a chocolate croissant (warmed). It wasn't my favorite but it wasn't bad. I did like that they offered to warm it up. Next i ordered a matcha latte 12oz which was delicious. It is on the stronger side which I like. Unfortunately they didn't have honey incase that's important to you. Lastly I ordered a hot chocolate which was very delicious. I thought their to go lids were super cool. When walking into the coffee shop it felt like I had entered a home with a fancy living room. this is an so-so spot for tea/coffee, but as others have mentioned, it's probably the most expensive coffee shop in Beaverton. if i want bougie coffee, there is already a place for that at the Cedar Hills shopping center that's justifiably bougie. i don't find that Baristopia offers anything that makes it particularly stand out amongst the many options we have, besides higher prices that i'm unconvinced are justifiable. i didn't find the space desirable as some place to hang out or study. this business probably benefits those who live in the surrounding condos more than anyone else. i stopped in because i'd never been before, and i had a $1 off coupon that we picked up at my kid's hair salon right before Christmas. the matcha latte i desired was $8, so i was grateful for the coupon. the barista glanced at it and informed me it was no longer valid. i found this confusing since we got it recently, and there was no expiration date. she said said she would find a different coupon or discount to apply. once she reached the checkout screen, she transitioned the tablet screen towards me so i could finish payment. she walked off, and i noticed the latte was still $8, no discount applied. overall, i wasn't charmed by this shop. read more

Coffee is pretty good here. Pourovers areas offered, espresso, the works! The baristas here are very nice and there is ample seating where you can find space between the other coffee lovers. It gives me library vibes cause of the ambiance, which is awesome. read more

This place is such a wonderful, newer, coffee shop in Beaverton. They have lots of space to hang out and also to work, with multiple tables by outlets. The staff is very friendly, the drinks are delicious, the pastries are delicious and the background music is always on point! The only thing to consider is the WiFi is pretty bad. They told us the wifi has a difficult time with non-Mac computers but even our Mac was having issues, which resulted in us having to use our hotspot. The only recommendation I have for this place is to please get new wifi provider or new router because both times I've been here the wifi has not worked for me. I would definitively be here more often if the wifi issue did not exist. read more

My husband and I came to get some computer work done and both really enjoyed our coffees and our time at Baristopia. My vanilla latte was creamy and had the perfect amount of vanilla sweetness to it. Even with several other customers there and music in the background, it was a nice environment to work in. And there was much more seating than I anticipated, so we were really comfortable too. This is mine and my husband's new favorite local coffee shop. The staff is so friendly and their matcha is delicious!

Visiting this place was unfortunately very disappointing. The space itself is very cute, with a good amount of seating and natural sunlight. The coffee, however, is incredibly harsh, maybe just over-extracted, which cannot be attributed to limitations on their equipment. I usually try to visit a new coffee shop every weekend, so I've had a pretty wide variety, but I've never tasted espresso this unpleasant. Per the owner's response to another review, customers are given a choice between a light and dark roast, but they don't mention that when you order and simply default to the dark roast if you don't specify. I'd recommend having the baristas clarify the choice to your customers before defaulting. Most coffee shops have just one specific espresso blend for their espresso-based drinks. This could just be a matter of preference, but it'd be hard for me to recommend this place to others. I guess I'd be curious to try their drip and/or cold brew before making a final judgement. read more

Let's start with the pros. It's convenient if you live near the apartments above. The inside is brand new and there is some decent space. - There's about 3 to 4 places to sit though once those are taken in the space is just vacant space not space that's actually usable. -the owner sits in there all day long monitoring his employees.. I don't know if that's a pro or a con but I bet that is some very weird work conditions and he does not speak to any of the customers ( from the multiples times I've been there). -the coffee is neither good nor bad in my opinion. This place absolutely rips. My only complaint is that the location is a bit inconvenient unless you live in the surrounding complex, but that seems wildly unfair to penalize them for that. I had a friend visiting who is one of the biggest coffee snobs I know, whenever he visits we are always on the quest to find him a flat white that is up to his standards. Baristopia not only met his standards but broke into the top 5 coffees he has ever had, once again this is coming from one of the biggest haters I know (and love). I got a coconut americano and was super pleased with how the quality coconut water brings out the fruitier notes of the coffee, I'm going to be coming back for this drink alone. read more

Today, I committed the cardinal sin of ordering a flat white in a non-traditional size. The barista, with a smug look on his face, said, "Just so you know, that's ACTUALLY just a latte. A traditional flat white is six ounces." Yeah, no shit, my man. I know what a traditionally sized flat white is, and I ordered it on the first two occasions that I came to Baristopia. Unfortunately, the shots they pull at Baristopia are inconsistent and often bitter, and I need a few more ounces of milk to make it palatable. I didn't say that to the barista at the time -- I went there for a beverage, not a confrontation -- but I walked away wishing that I had, since it's genuine feedback. If they want customers to order espresso-forward drinks, they should pull better shots. read more

The space and location is great. Two separate times I have ordered the ham and cheese croissant and have asked for them to be toasted. Both times the croissant has been cold on the inside still and it's like they didn't even warm it up. The 2nd time I even asked for it to be extra toasted and they barely warmed it up while the croissant was soggy for some reason on the bottom. Coffee isn't bad. Employees are nice but my issue is mainly with the food. read more
