Ordered via Doordash. The Japanese ice cheese cake is delicious! It seems to be available only thru delivery, not in person. The rainbow one was also very good, with a layer of cream in between the different flavors
I never order a black Forrest from here. The birthday black Forrest cake just too much cream, the portion of the cream to the cake is way too much. And the cream is not light and not fluffy. Maybe this is because egg shortage, so the cake layer is too thin and using the cream to make it looks taller, to hold it taller, gotta have a more dense cream.... Will suggest to buy mousse cake using egg shortage period.
Owners are rude and entitled. They parked directly on the sidewalk and inner walkway of the shopping center blocking the way making inaccessible for someone on a wheelchair, and putting kids from the High-school who frequent the Starbucks just a few feet away in danger as the car could roll out. There is a signed right over the car indicating that bikes are not allowed, and yet the owner feels entitled to park his 2 ton vehicle to save himself 10 feet from parking on the street seen just behind him.
My friend ordered me half a dozen vanilla chiffon cupcakes from here to be delivered at work. The cupcakes came intact in a cute box. Each cupcake had a strawberry and blueberry on top. The cupcakes were pretty good, and I'll be sure to stop by in the future to see what else they offer.
Great place to get a last minute custom cake. We ordered the day before (24 hours) and picked it up the next morning. Theres a huge selection for flavors and type of cakes. The cake got some compliments from the adults at the party. However, when I arrived to pick it up the person was still making the cake, which meant the the frosting was not refrigerated. I brought it directly to our birthday party where it sat in the fridge for a couple hours but possibly but then the damage was done - the guy didn't tape the cake down to the box so it shifted and one side was ruined. The front side was still sort of ok- good enough that the kids didn't notice. Also the cake itself was dry- likely thawed from frozen and not fresh. The storefront is not the cleanest inside and they don't have much of other items in the bakery- just a few things here and there. I'm on the fence about trying them again.
My partner placed a custom birthday cake order on their website for a guava mousse cake and a message written in Chinese for their mother's birthday. They got called by the baker/store owner when the cake was ready and we went to pick it up; the cake was pretty, and the message written neatly on top. The owner also speaks Cantonese. The guava and mousse in the cake is also quite nice as it adds smoothness and fruity flavor. It contains the spongey parts that you find in a typical cake as well.
Yum might pastry. We needed a mango cake and were so happy to found pretty one. It was light, sweet and a hint of tart- delish!
Wow !! Their cakes are always so fresh !! One of the nicest bakery in Fremont. They have a variety or breads and snacks, but I mostly go for their cakes. They generally dont keep cakes ready, but prepare fresh for you in 15 mins. Their mousse is melt in mouth. Sponge so soft and fresh. We always enjoy their chocolate and Mango mousse cake. They staff is always nice and friendly. I ordered a special cake for my Sister's baby shower and that turned out perfect. Would always recommend their cakes.
I've been seeing this bakery/cake shop whenever I go to Lions Supermarket. I finally decided to try them. I and my wife likes the bun and saw several items of buns. We had their chicken, pork, and taro buns. The person who helped us told us the buns were newly cooked. She told us that they also have plain and mung bean buns. The taro bun is delicious. There's a taro inside the bun and since we have a steamer, we were able to eat them warm. The chicken and pork buns are also good. The price for the buns is not expensive and we bought a package of six buns in a plastic package. We also saw several cakes on display and the decorations are fantastic. I liked the way it was made and decorated. You can ask for the flavor of cakes you wanted and they will make it for you. Once we celebrate Bday, anniversary or happy occasion, we will come here and order their cakes We also found a place to enjoy our favorite buns.
Worst bakery ever ; I ordered a birthday cake for my son s 2 nd bday with a Thomas train design on it. They charged me $ 92 for the 1/4 sheet cake mango mouse one. They completely screwed the design ; there was no train only tracks. This was supposed to be custom design cake . Taste wise - it was frozen and not freshly prepared, the shopkeeper speaks only Chinese . They take advantage of not knowing English when comes with service complaints . Terrible experience . I wish I could give no star
One of the best mango mousse cake ever! I loved how the cake wasn't overly sweet and the sponge cake was fluffy and soft as well. All the fruits were pretty fresh and tasty too. My boyfriend had placed an online order on Friday and they called him over the weekend to verify the order and my cake was ready on Wednesday in time for the birthday! We loved how they didn't ask for a credit card over the phone, which was very refreshing.

However, upon coming into the store in person, I had a different perspective. The cake rolls were collecting moisture in the open fridge. Also, to add to the oddness, the man working behind the counter is able to whip out any cake you choose from the list in 10 minutes. I read several reviews stating the cakes were frozen and didn't want to believe them, but it's true. The cake I ordered was dry, not moist, and appeared frozen... it was quite disappointing. I was hoping to have another reliable bakery around the area, but I will not be coming back to this location.
Picked up a white cake here for a dinosaur themed bday party for a family member. The whipped frosting was AMAZING! The cake was about $150 but the taste was totally worth it. It was super moist. The only one issue we had was the flavoring. We asked for a mango filling cream inside which they forgot. They didn't give a price discount but they offered 2 mango Swiss rolls instead.

I Doordashed from here, after seeing good reviews. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the expectations. I ordered 1 mango cake slice and 1 black forest cake slice. The cakes were predominantly made of cream (which didnt taste good in itself), mango cake was atleast ok to eat (with bits of mango and less cream, but the cake was itself dry). Black forest cake was quite unpalatable. I will not be ordering from here again. The only thing I liked was how it looked and packed. read more

I disliked the overall presentation of the cake the minute I saw the cake. While I must agree I ordered it just a day before I needed the cake, but I'd have been so much more happier if I had ordered 2 cakes from Paris Baguette or so. The blue that they added just did not go away after wiping with tissues, had to use soap to get it out. The cake was an absolute disaster in terms of presentation and taste. I ordered mango cream cake as it had some decent reviews for having less sweet. But omg the whole experience was abysmal and I'm never going back again. read more

One of the best mango mousse cake ever! I loved how the cake wasn't overly sweet and the sponge cake was fluffy and soft as well. All the fruits were pretty fresh and tasty too. The night before my friend's bday dinner, I realized it was her birthday. I was looking online for a local bakery that I can pick up a cake from, and maybe even have it customized. I've tried Farfalla's mango cake before, but saw online that the guava cake is the way to go! I quickly made a reservation online (there was no time stamp on when the cut off was for preorder), and hoped for the best. Feeling unsure if I would get the cake since there was no confirmation via phone or email, I went to Farfalla the next morning to check-in. I was about to order another cake on the spot, but the lady said they got my order. I came a few hours earlier than what I had made in the notes, but luckily they had the cake ready already, and just added the writing to it. Pro tip 1: check in on Yelp to get a free a macaron! (Might need to make some type of purchase) The cake was a hit! The guave flavor was not too overpowering, and the tartness cut out the sweet. We all enjoyed it, and I would highly recommend! As to why it's a 4 stars? Well, I haven't tried their other things to justify a 5 star yet. Next time! :) read more

3.5 stars overall but rounding up since it's one of the better cakes I've had in a while. We tried the Mango Mousse Cake (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=5qIcFqnTBtH_V89gdVRFIA&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg), and the mousse was nice and light. We loved that this cake wasn't too sweet, and you could really taste the mango. However, the sponge cake layer was a tiny bit dry, and the mango on top of the cake was super tart and inedible. We did order this cake in winter though, and it's difficult to get ripe fruit then. I'll have to come back to try their other tropical fruit cakes, such as passion fruit, guava, and lychee! read more

I came to this bakery because of all the nice reviews but it was a huge disappointment. i was planning on getting a birthday called here, so i figure to try there mini mousse cake first, good thing i did. it wasn't all that good to be honest. yes the first few bites was tasty but the more you eat of it, all the flavors end up tasting the same. parking was a hassle there. i was hopibg they would at least put the mini cakes in a nice container but they just put it in a plastic go box which look pretty ghetto, and i got a few, not just one. read more

Best cake in the bay area. I recently bought fresh strawberry cream cake and can't express how good it was - so fresh, fluffy, and perfectly sweet. I never had such a delicious cake so far in my life! They don't keep cakes and make once they have order. I guess that's why they are so fresh and delicious. Just loved it read more
This bakery is similar to 85 degrees, but smaller. They have fresh baked items that you can pick out and place on a tray, as well as cakes out on display. I got 6 different mousse cakes since it was buy 5, get 1 free - they were each $2.75. All the flavors we tried were delicious, although my favorite was coffee since it had a very intense coffee flavor. We also tried the ham and cheese croissant and the pork bun. The ham and cheese croissant wasn't the best, it was kinda cold and just had a big slice of processed cheese in it. The pork bun was ok, I didn't find the bbq pork as flavorful as normal but there was a lot in it. read more

I stopped by to see if they had same day cakes available for walk in for a birthday. It was my first time here and I wasn't sure which flavor to go for but I chose the smallest size they had 8" Strawberry cream cake. The man who helped me was able to get it ready for me within 5 min. It looked so pretty and was packaged pretty too! The cake was actually good it was very soft, fresh, wasn't too sweet so that was nice, and his hand writing on the cake is also really beautiful! I also picked up a few macaroons to try them out they caught my attention on the counter. Those were also super good my fam loved them. I really liked that they have a display of their props they can add on pre-ordered cakes. Overall it's a cute bakery I'm happy I chose to come here & I'll probably start buying cakes for birthdays here from now on 10/10 recommend read more

Great bakery. This location doesn't have as much as the Newark location cause they do their baking in the Newark location. You can always call ahead to ask if they have certain breads available and if they don't, they will refer you to the Newark location. Prices and very good compared to other Asian bakeries. I personally like my toast bread to be thinly sliced so I like that they slice theirs thin. read more

Absolutely beautiful cakes and pastries. I grabbed an egg tart for a little treat, the crust was amazingly buttery and flaky, and the custard was rich, creamy and sweet. The individual serving mousse cakes are beautiful and taste as good as they look. I got the strawberry, raspberry and mango cakes and they were a hit with the team. Also, I used the yelp check in for a rose mini macaron which I really enjoyed, just the right amount of sweetness and creamy filling to satisfy a sweet tooth without too much guilt!
