If it is a busy holiday, management should properly prepare sufficient inventory. 2. Discrepancy Between Menu Prices and Actual Bill The prices charged on our final bill did not match the prices listed on the menu. Overcharging customers without prior notice is deceptive and unacceptable. 3. Violation of NJ Credit Card Surcharge Notice Laws Under New Jersey law, businesses charging different prices for cash versus credit cards must clearly display the surcharge fees on both the menu and visible signage near the entrance/register. This restaurant had zero notices displayed, yet applied differential charges arbitrarily. 4. Unauthorized 20% Auto-Gratuity on a Party of 4 We were a small party of four. Despite not meeting any standard large-party threshold, the restaurant added a mandatory 20% tip to our bill without consent or prior warning, using the "holiday" as an excuse. Forcing an automatic tip on a 4-person table without agreement is fraudulent. No matter how the food tastes, operating a business by deceiving customers and violating state regulations is unacceptable. I will never come back to this establishment.
