If you're in the area, don't miss out on this amazing culinary experience! I've tried just about everything on the menu and it's all 10/10! I can eat the hummus from here for breakfast lunch and dinner and that's saying a lot considering I think every hummus I've ever eaten out is trash besides this one and the one we make at home whose recipe comes past down generations from Palestine. Everything I've tried here is very close to the authentic Palestinian food we make at home which is priceless when you're feeling homesick and nostalgic.

You get so much more than you'd expect for the price. It comes with a generous selection of meats, fresh bread, salad, rice, and a variety of delicious dipping sauces. Our food arrived within about 20 minutes of ordering, which was impressive considering how much was included. The service is always excellent. There's consistently someone keeping an eye on the dining room, making sure every table is taken care of right away whenever anyone needs something. The only thing to keep in mind is that the restaurant doesn't have its own parking lot, but there's plenty of street parking nearby, so finding a spot wasn't an issue. I'll definitely be back!

We ordered the mixed grill for one, which was just about enough for the two of us; the meat was done perfectly, and seasoned to perfection. The musukhan rolls were new to us, and we liked those a lot, too. The sujuk was flavorful and not too greasy. The biggest surprise to me, as someone who's not a rice person, was the kidrah rice, which tasted like it had minced meat and slivered nuts (I'm guessing almonds) in it. Think pilaf, maybe? Anyways, loved that, too. And did I mention that it comes with three or four pieces of warm, pillowy pita bread? Like I said, slightly pricey; after delivery fees and tip and whatnot, it came to about eighty bucks all in. But let me tell you, it was worth every penny. The only regret is that I didn't think to order some knafeh to go with it, because if it's as good as the rest of what we had, I'm sure I missed out on something great. Oh well. Next time. And yes, there will be a next time.

They have a wide variety of Turkish delights including some beef stew which I cannot pronounce, beef and tomato entree, the lentil soup which I had a bowl of and so much more which I must try in the future. Everything is authentic Turkish style down to the Bal Kupü sugar cubes in a small bowl on the tables. I will be making this one of my favorite restaurants whenever I am in Paterson.
