New menu is now available to view . They have plenty of parking and seatings . Located inside 99 market food court area .

Haven't had this place in awhile but don't remember it being like this. The crawfish was still very dirty. I got the cajun & garlic butter flavor but because it wasnt properly cleaned I mainly got the dirt/grit taste overpowering There was even a bit of the sea/plastic bag left in my crawfish

Garlic butter crawfish in medium spice

Convenient place in Katy to order crawfish, especially if you want to get groceries and eat crawfish. My parents and I normally order the garlic butter crawfish w/ medium spice every time we order crawfish from here and unlike most Viet-Cajun crawfish places I've been to, they have medium spice as their lowest heat for boiled seafood. It doesn't get too spicy as long as you don't suck the heads and eat the garlic bits too much, but when we ordered about 8 lbs of crawfish, 1 of the 2 bags w/ 4 lbs in each was spicer than the other. Maybe the guy in the kitchen got confused w/ the spice level or probably added a bit more spice though. Despite the crawfish being okay, their wings are good. I mostly order 5 spice basil wings to eat along w/ the crawfish and it was like Taiwanese popcorn chicken but in wings, plus they have chicken bites where you can ask for 5 spice basil in order to make it into Taiwanese popcorn chicken too. They also individually pack some of their condiments, and took away their water refill station due to covid reasons. But they also have gloves up front where the water used to be and there's no extra cost for that and the bibs which is good. I'll still eat crawfish here whenever my parents order it while @ 99 Ranch.

Absolutely the best seafood place in the area. I get the hot and sour spicy crawfish... very juicy.. never disappoints ..

Shrimp poboy with about 5 fries on the side.

Interesting set up. This place is inside of a market, the area looks sort of like a food court. You walk in and order at the counter and then your number is called. I ordered a fried shrimp poboy with everything on the side. The shrimp was good but they are VERY heavy on the seasoning, which is super salty. My order came with fries and I looked like I was given about 10 fries. For whatever reason, it took my food a really long time to come out. My coworker got her food pretty quickly and I was sitting there waiting. The food was good, but I probably won't go back.

Salt Toast Lobster & Magic Cajun Rice
    Alexis T.

I ordered the Magic Cajun rice and Salt Toast Lobster. There was def nothing Cajun about the Cajun rice and it needed more flavor. The lobster on the other hand, was good but def not worth the price! More expensive than other places... I spent $65 just for the two meals and the rice was only $9. Also, I tried my friend's calamari and that was really good, seasoned well. I honestly thought that tasted better than my whole meal.

Ok so our normal hot spot was closed. So my boss, her husband and I went to this spot last night. Staff was nice and facility was clean. Management sucks for making 1 girl I didn't get her name run the front by herself till 8:30 pm. Who ever the pretty boy was who finally decided to come into work. Consider yourself lucky, cause your teammate held it down for you. While you were too busy looking at yourself In the mirror. Snow crab was overpriced $20 for snow crab that isn't very big in size. Flavor sucked and they don't even provide you crackers or scissors to get the little ass meat out. We were there when they started to close down. That's when we had to ask for those utensils and they provided. This is a seafood venue your customers shouldn't have to ask for the equipment to eat there food. It should be automatically provided The husband got shrimp in Cajun mild but it was basically flavorless butter. Boss got fries and Cajun medium. The fries tasted like sugar was sprinkled over them. And the Cajun medium was more of a mild I got snow crab garlic butter extra spicy. It was spicy after I was like a cluster down. But flavor wasn't amazing. I also got the crawfish in Cajun medium being that they are frozen now. It was ok. I also got the shrimp in salt toast. These babies are supposed to be DEEP FRIED and so you can eat everything. Were they? Nah so I had to peel off the skin which was soooo disappointing. As an Asian that lightly breaded shit is an insult to the dish. I also got the chicken wings in spicy lemon pepper. The chicken was the best part. Maybe they should change to wings and pho only. Maybe we are a little spoiled by our hotspot but this was no where near or anywhere close to "good" as we wanted it to be. Will not come again.

I never eat the seafood. All of there places around town have the best Cajun wings. First time trying this location because I was working near it. Why would someone serve all the broken wings? One wing all the meat was black!!! Horrible!!!!

    Shrimp pho with sausages

I always get the crawfish or shrimp Pho. Very savory and good ! I go almost once a week. Highly recommended. I also had the cheesy crawfish egg rolls I wasn't a fan of that at all because it's very cheesy not horrible tho. The empanadas are good. The food here is really good can't go wrong. I always go to the Katy freeway location inside the 99 market

I'll admit I was a little skeptical going in because I genuinely think my favorite pho spot in Texas is still in Austin where I live. That being said, Houston has such an incredible Vietnamese food scene that I've been making it my mission to try as many of the highly recommended spots as I can! When my pho first came out, I thought the broth was rich and flavorful, but it didn't immediately blow me away. Then the manager came over and started chatting with me, asking where I was visiting from and what some of my favorite pho spots were. He even asked what style of broth I usually like, and after I told him I tend to prefer a richer broth, he brought me a side of their fatty broth to add in. It made SUCH a difference!! It added so much depth and flavor, and I appreciated that he took the time to personalize my meal instead of just serving the food and walking away. What impressed me even more was how attentive everyone was. The manager noticed I'd asked for to-go containers even though I'd barely touched my food and came over to make sure everything was okay. I had to explain that I just wasn't as hungry as I thought I'd be haha. He was SO kind and even packed me an extra container of the fatty broth to take home, which was such a thoughtful gesture. We also ordered the grilled pork vermicelli, and WOW...it was honestly one of the best versions I've ever had! The pork was incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked. Between the delicious food and the genuinely amazing hospitality, I can definitely see why Pho Dien is so well-loved. Next time I definitely want to come back and try their bone marrow pho!!

We ordered the Combo Pho, and it was absolutely delicious. The broth was rich, flavorful, and tasted like it had been simmering for hours. It had that authentic homemade flavor that's hard to find. The portion was generous, with plenty of tender beef, meatballs, and noodles, and all the fresh herbs, bean sprouts, lime, and jalapeños made it even better. Every bite was comforting and satisfying. We also tried the egg rolls, and they were perfectly crispy on the outside while staying juicy and flavorful on the inside. They paired perfectly with the dipping sauce and made a great appetizer before the pho arrived. To complete the meal, we ordered their tea drinks, and they did not disappoint! They were refreshing, perfectly balanced in sweetness, and a great complement to the warm bowl of pho. Whether you're craving a classic milk tea or a fruity tea, they have something for everyone. The restaurant itself was clean, comfortable, and had a relaxed atmosphere that's perfect for family dinners, lunch with friends, or even a quick solo meal. The quality of the food, generous portions, fair prices, and excellent service make this place stand out. If you're looking for authentic Vietnamese comfort food, Pho Dien is definitely worth a visit. We'll absolutely be coming back to try more of their menu. Highly recommend the Combo Pho, crispy egg rolls, and one of their refreshing tea drinks!

This place delivered where it mattered most, especially with the highly reviewed appetizers. Probably one of my favorite drinks here was the Thai Green Tea. It has a really interesting flavor that stands out from regular Thai Tea -- more earthy, but not quite like matcha (we guessed there might be pandan in it). Just a heads up: it's definitely on the sweeter side. My partner and I actually let the ice melt a bit before continuing to drink it, which helped balance things out. I came back a second time and still loved it just as much. The dipping sauce felt like a truly authentic representation of Vietnamese cuisine. It was a lightly diluted fish sauce with spicy red pepper and plenty of garlic -- simple but really flavorful. I also appreciated that the table setup let you customize it to your taste. In my first experience here, we ordered the Bánh Xèo, Bánh Khọt, and Bánh Bột Chiên. I was hands down a huge fan of the ginormous Bánh Xèo -- crispy, flavorful, and just overall my favorite (though I'll admit I'm a little biased toward it already). Meanwhile, my boyfriend completely fell in love with the crunchy Bánh Khọt. That said, I did notice a slight graininess in the Bánh Khọt, which took away a few points for me. The Bánh Bột Chiên was solid and got a pass from us, but it wasn't our top pick -- mostly because we've had better versions elsewhere. Other worthy notes: the herbs were fresh and crisp, and the pickled vegetables were refreshing as well (though my boyfriend thought they could've been a bit more strongly pickled). Eating everything the traditional way -- wrapping it in lettuce with herbs -- made the whole experience even better. Honestly, I would come back just to order two Bánh Xèo. I actually came back a second time before posting this review, this time with my family. We ordered the Bắp Xào, Cơm Chiên Bò Lúc Lắc, and a simple rice dish. This visit was a bit different -- across the board, we all agreed the dishes leaned too salty this time around. I could also tell the staff was overwhelmed, with only two people handling both the front and the kitchen, so it was tough to get their attention at times. That said, the Bánh Xèo still held its ground. My parents were genuinely impressed by the size, and for me, it's still an absolute banger -- something I'd come back for again and again purely for flavor and value. The Bắp Xào really stood out to me in a nostalgic way. I loved the use of traditional Vietnamese corn, and the sautéed dried shrimp brought back memories of flavors from dishes I grew up eating, even if I couldn't quite pinpoint which one. While my mom thought it was too salty, I actually felt like it would pair perfectly with a bowl of plain white rice. I also tried some of my brother's Cơm Chiên Bò Lúc Lắc and found the beef to be tender and flavorful, though not particularly standout compared to other places. I've had very similar versions nearby, but it's still my brother's go-to -- though I suspect that might also be his way of loading up on protein. Overall, even with the inconsistency during the second visit, I still really enjoy Yummy Quan -- especially for the appetizers. It's a place I'd bring family and friends to try, and I'm still curious about more of the menu... but realistically, I could live life on Bánh Xèo alone. At the end, you also get to grab some guava candy, and for anyone who's never had these, don't forget to pick some up -- they're simply delectable!

I did not like the bun rieu, was too sweet... probably because different region so rieu balls were different than I was used too also. It reminds me of Vietnam every time I have it. My mom said it still isn't quite as good as the fresh sugarcane juice back in Vietnam, but both my brother and I love it. It's probably about as close as we'll get with the importing. Bún Bò Huế - My mom and I both agreed that the broth wasn't as rich as we'd like, and I don't think it's their highlight dish. That said, it was still a delicious and filling meal. Served with the traditional red cabbage. Phở Đặc Biệt - Still one of my favorite pho places because of their light broth. I always feel like I get great value here for the amount of food they give you. The meat cuts were especially good today. Bánh Mì Bò Né - My brother's go-to order. I've had it multiple times and have always enjoyed it, but today was definitely soup-energy. Bún Thịt Nướng - I didn't have this one, but the person who ordered it said they enjoyed it! Overall, this place continues to be one of my family's reliable Vietnamese spots. The meat in both broth dishes was especially good this visit, and despite us coming so close to closing, they never made us feel rushed. We'll definitely keep coming back.

At first it was just us and one other table, but not long after, more people started coming in, probably for lunch as well. The restaurant is pretty large, with both tables and booths, plus a big table for large groups. This is what we ordered: Combo Rolls This comes as a sampler with five different types of spring rolls. Regular spring rolls, nem nuong rolls (fermented grilled pork), grilled chicken, grilled pork, and shrimp only. I really liked this idea because it lets you try everything without having to order each roll separately. My favorite was the nem nuong roll. Bun Bo Hue I do not eat pork blood or pork loaf, so I substituted them with more tendon and beef meatballs. Because of that, I cannot really comment on how the pork tasted. The broth was okay but a little lacking in flavor. After I asked for shrimp paste, it tasted much better. Bo Kho (Beef Stew) This is my husband favorite dish, so he always orders it whenever a place has it. He ordered the one come with bread as dipping. He did not really like this one. It was not bad, but not great either. The flavor was missing, and the broth was more watered down than how he prefers it. Still, it is worth trying if you like beef stew. Overall, our experience was just okay. The service was fine, but the food did not leave a strong impression on us. We did not stay long since my husband had to get back to work. I would come back to try more dishes, especially pho. Since their name is Pho Guru, I feel like the pho might be better.
