Came here for a lunch date with the wife. Wait time isn't long. It's a fast food place that's inside the Ranch 99 Supermarket area. We walked in and was immediately greeted. So the service was off to a good start. The wife ordered a Crawfish Pho, and I ordered a Brisket Pho. I did ask if they had a Pho Dat Biet, but no. At first glance, place is clean, well maintained and not a bad place to eat at. They have an open wash area since there is no restroom in this particular area; it's off to the side of the supermarket. It has a condiment area for you to grab you supplies at. Food came out pretty fast, we sat, and started to grub. First thing, a lot of oil left on top of my pho. It could be skimmed out some more. Second thing is that it is quite bland. More sweet than savory. Added quite a bit of Hoisin and Siracha to get some flavor. The brisket was usual, and the noodles were a bit on the smaller quantity side. Wife's had some decent flavor. I think it's the leftover crawfish boil and they simmer it and cooked it with the pho broth. First slurp got me coughing for a good minute. Didn't expect it to be worthy, but it's not bad. Maybe 3-5 pieces of crawfish in the whole soup, not great, but not skimpy either. A whole crawfish for decoration and eating. Also, there is beef within the soup. Overall, I like the crawfish one better but wouldn't order it. Service is a good, they smile, greet, and help direct you to things. Food is subpar. It has some areas of improvement, and when it gets there, it will be good. For now, it isn't worth $20 for 2 people. read more

I gave 4 stars due to the place being super clean, the crawfish was not good at all, you can still taste dirt in them, the snow crabs were over cooked and very small, the potatoes was hard and the corn was just right... if you're into crawfish like I am then you would know good when you taste them, I'm from New Orleans and we know crawfish... read more

Called the crawfish pho and it is nothing like vietnamese pho at all. There is roughly around 10 to 11 crawfish and there is no side bean sprouts. Asked the server if the pho is spicy and she said it's not spicy at all. When the pho came it was spicy with jalapeno all over. If you cant eat spicy food, dont call this. read more

Called before ordering and asked if they have "LIVE" crawfish, they responded with "YES". So i ordered 40 bucks worth of crawfish. Got home and started eating and immediately knew that they were frozen. taste was decent, but was obviously not cooked live crawfish. really wanted to like this place but this makes me not want to go back. read more

Found this place thru Yelp. I ordered the spicy garlic crawfish and some crawfish empanadas. All I have to say is they were both delicious! The crawfish was spicy and tasty. I've been to a lot of different crawfish houses around town and this is definitely one of my favorites now. It's also BYOB, so bring your cooler of beer and have some tasty mud bugs! read more

I love the food! I ordered from here multiple times and never had an issue with the food. But today we purchased a couple of pounds of Shrimp and we were short a whole pound so we called and explained the situation to the manager David and he was completely rude! Basically said that I was lying and that I should of asked for them to weigh the shrimp in front of me. I asked to talk to the owner and he said that we couldn't talk to the owner because we were trying to fire him. I just wanted my pound of shrimp smh! read more

A few months ago I ordered wings, and when I got home I noticed that they were TINY. I called them and asked what happened bc I come here often and the wings are normally much bigger than the ones I took home that day. They apologized said they received the wrong wings and didn't want to waste them so they served them and gave a few extra wings bc they're so much smaller than the ones they normally have...which is true, I did have several extra wings. The issue was they were hard and very salty. Nonetheless I left it alone. I went a few times after that and they were back to serving their regular sized wings, so no complaints. Yesterday I ordered wings and checked my order in the parking lot. Again I recieved tiny little wings that were overcooked and too salty to eat. I called and they apologized and let me get another flavor and remade them. The ones I took home were still very salty, and were overcooked. I was over it so I ate a few and tossed the rest. Next time I order here, I'll make sure I ask if they're using the tiny wings, or I'll ask to see the wings they're serving before I order bc they seem to be unable to cook/season the tiny wings correctly. The least they could do is let those that order wings know they're different wings, that way they have a choice between tiny overcooked wings from LA Crawfish or going elsewhere. read more

It was hard to find good fried shrimp in Katy until LA Crawfish opened. Their food is so good. I would say the only downfall, is their restaurant setup they sit in the midst of the groceries store. I keep going back, their just good! read more

You have go the la crawfish; with the awesome food, friendly staff, and clean environment will have you return for more. So far, I have tried the snow crab (bit pricey but worth it), the Pho, wings, and the shrimp and crawfish fried rice. Everything taste amazing. Even though it's not crawfish season I still see families order plenty. The restaurant is small but you can always order to go, the food stays fresh and hot for the ride home. They have an interesting assortment of menu items I have tried the pho, awesome garlic noodles (the name holds true) wings are the best wings I have ever had, seafood baskets and best of all crawfish and I can BYOB. I have been to this location twice and enjoyed the Crawfish even though it's not in season; I prefer this location over the one in Blalok as it was too salty for my liking. I have tried the Thai green chili oysters, Crawfish, shrimp, beigneits. The food & service is good. I wish their restaurant had a divider from the supermarket. read more

Pretty good place, my boys really like their wings although I thought they were a tad bit salty. This location seems to never have blue crab as opposed to the Blalock location which is a real bummer, the crawfish seemed like it wasn't cooked enough the first time I had it, the second time they were okay and the third time was great. I'll be back definitely, it's so much closer to home than Blalock. read more
