I ordered: Grilled Seafood Combo - $17.99(requested fried fish instead of baked) Small Beverage - $1.99 When the food came out, they didn't replace the baked fish with the fried fish. That was okay because the baked fish was fantastic! It came with dirty rice, again exceptional, and four grilled and seasoned shrimp. The resturant is clean and decent sized, not high end but better than most small restaurants. I gave them a 4 star because they didn't get the replacement correct. Staff was great! Yeah....so FYI, the prices that are on their website, are not the prices that they charge you! I pulled up the website for the cashier and was like asked if it was correct and he said "that's not our logo!" I looked at the logo ON THE WALL BEHIND HIM and it was the same thing!!! TF?! I asked to speak to the manager and got a "oh, they don't work on weekends!" And then I asked to have the owners email or contact number and was told "we are not able to give out his Mr. Willington's information" not even for feedback! Josue was the cashier and made sure I didn't have access to upper management. So, there was no way to get to the bottom of the overpricing situation! I like this place. When I get the hankering for some fried catfish, this is going to be my go-to spot from now on. I went at around 3pm, so the place wasn't too packed. Ordering was easy, and I got my food in a reasonable amount of time. The fries were a bit bland, but the fish is the star and it tasted good. Pairs well with hot sauce, as all fried fish should. The price was good because of ordering the fish on a Monday. The price would be okay on any other day, but it's still relatively affordable regardless. Good stuff. read more

Mannnn, I'm trying to figured out how this place has 4 stars!!! This was a true disappointment. Staff was nice, BUT calling yourself Catfish station and selling Swai is crazy. I ordered a fried combination plate and boudin balls. The green beans, hush puppies and shrimp were the only things worth eatin. The fish taste like water and batter. The boudin balls gummy/inside over cooked and the outside is like dry glue. I deserve my money back for them and that fish. I need them to remove Cajun from the name as well, cause it's not. Staff seems very nice. Howeverrr, the catfish is not REAL catfish...it's actually Swai. Not a fan of Swai at all!

Just your basic catfish place, but the fish is cooked pretty good. Light, balanced with the right amount of crunchy. Not too crispy that it hurts your jaws, and the breading is not too thick. The cheese grits you can choose as a side is also pleasantly aromatic and even has sausages in it! The chicken and sausage gumbo was a bit too peppery though. Overall, very basic bayou food, but if catfish fillet is exactly what you crave... I'd recommend it. read more

First time to order at this restaurant....giving an honest review. The Catfish....PHENOMENAL. So delicious. Definitely worth ordering the vast wish and will order again. The Fried Shrimp that was part of the Famiky combo was excellent as well. There were one or two shrimp fried with the SHELL on...so the cooks / prep need to work on that...that shouldn't happen...but the shrimp was delicious despite's this. Hush puppies and remoloude were very good. Now for the ok. The Dirty rice was ok- but it lacked flavor and there was no sign of the Trinity in that rice, ( bell pepper, onions, celery,) so that is probably why the flavor was not up to calling it dirty rice. The red beans and rice were good. The harshest feedback I have is that the crawfish pie and side of Etoufee should be removed from the menu. It was not good at all and is a shame to serve next to that outstanding shrimp and catfish...you don't need it. The crawfish pie was under fried and very pale- not golden, and the eroufee was so so bad. Pale yellow and looked very unappetizing and tasted like bland flavorless goo. Just take it off the menu and focus on all the other things you do so well...that dish is not worthy of the menu. But back to the great...Catfish and Shrimp outstanding. Next time we will order some poor boys in addition to the catfish and shrimp...it was again..phenomenal. read more

Thank you for not preparing my blackened fish thoroughly....No one wants raw, mushy fish...The outside was cooked but the inside was like sushi... I came here during my lunch break and there was only one person in front of me. It took forever just for me to order because the phone kept ringing and he kept taking phone orders....I could barely hear what the guy was saying because he had his trap music playing so loud! I kept saying "huh" "what" "one more time...". There was one guy taking orders and one woman cooking. She didn't have on any hair net to protect against hair getting in food. I finally got my food and hurried back to work. As soon as I took a bite it was just a mushy mess in my mouth. Disgusting, mediocre food. Even the salad was disgusting a complete waste of my $12. Buy one get one free fish snacks in uber eats! I also got crawfish pie, boudan link, and 1 grilled shrimp taco. The fish snack comes with fries and hushpuppies, I got spicy tarter sauce, honey mustard, and I think some type of remoulade comes with the crawfish pie. It's my second time ever eating here....more details will post tonight after I take pictures and finish eating it. Well, I ate and everything arrived hot and fresh. I didn't get spicy tarter, I only got packets of plain tarter but that's ok! It was all yummy, I'll get extra sweet corn hushpuppies next time. The taco was great, the boudin was flavorful, I peeled the skin off and ate the rice, the catfish was cooked perfectly just needs salt, fries were really good too. Excellent place for some great catfish on the Westside of Katy, TX. My catfish was cooked to perfection and they also have a spicy tarter sauce. It was a new twist for me instead of hot sauce I used their spicy sauce. I also had the blacken catfish and the tenderness and flavor was on point. l had the cheese grits. I should have ordered more. Great food.. clearly racist lady at the counter. Let me explain.. I walk in to pick up my to go order. There is a lady at the counter. I say "Hello I'm here to pick up a to go order" she responds with "1 chicken meal?" "um.. Noo? why would you.." Then a man came from around the corner and asked me my name - and handed me my meal. I was actually taken back because 1. why didn't she ask for my name? There were 3 other meals sitting there waiting to get picked up. 2. why would you assume I am there for chicken? I didn't even know they served chicken at catfish station- as I am a pescatarian and do not eat cow, chicken or pig. I have eaten here before and truly love the food but that was just ridiculous. I've been sleep On this place since moving to the area. The price point is great, the catfish is fire! and has plenty of flavor. I've been three times in the last 10 days. 5 star review about to hit you. This business took over the old Frenchy's chicken that was originally here and I'll be honest...It was a really good experience overall. We came in on a Saturday afternoon and there was no wait, both of the cashiers there were very attentive and knowledgeable about the food options. This part of Katy/cypress is growing in it's fast food seafood options and I believe this place will be a game changer. They have other locations throughout the northwest Houston area. We are transitioning towards veganism but occasionally we will have seafood so it's great this location is here. I ordered the catfish basket and when I tell you it was fried to perfection I almost thought I was eating KFC extra crispy chicken(we are a year removed from meat) but the fish inside was still very tender and moist. They have Cajun fries instead of the normal kind which was great because it was seasoned to perfection and came with two hush puppies. My wife got the shrimp basket which came with seven pieces of shrimp and she had green beans. The food was very hot and cooked well they offer a special homemade tartar sauce which has a hint of sweetness to it so it was a really good complement to the catfish. You order at the counter and they drop it off to your table. The catfish basket comes with 5 pieces of catfish 1 side and 2 hush puppies. I ordered side Mac and cheese as my side. There was no fishy taste and just the right amount of spice and batter. The Mac and cheese was very good but not amazing. Very generous portions . Next time I will order the catfish snack which comes with 3 pcs of fish and fries and pay $1 up charge to change out the fries for a different side. Place was clean, staff was friendly. BEWARE: They used Swai not Catfish per the owner. When I called to place my order I asked if the combination basket was catfish and the guy who answered the phone said yes. I asked if he was sure it wasn't Swai and he said yes, they use catfish. (I asked specifically if they use catfish or swai bc swai makes my tongue tingle and swell-an allergic reaction) I picked up my order and headed back home. About 10mins into my drive back home I stopped to a convenient store and decided to taste my meal. The fish had a mushy texture and less than a minute later my tongue started tingling and the tip started to swell. I called the restaurant and asked again if they use catfish or swai, they said catfish. I advised them I'm allergic to swai and asked them again of it was catfish or swai. They put me on hold and eventually hung up. I called right back and asked again if it was catfish or swai (which I already knew it was swai based on the reaction I had from taking 2 bites) and was put on hold again, then someone different picked up the phone and said the owner confirmed they use swai, apologized, and offered a refund. It's illegal to purposely advertise one product and do a bate and switch and sell a completely different product w/out telling the consumer. I'll never visit this restaurant again. read more

OMG! This place has gone to trash. I just picked up my 5 piece catfish basket and it was horrible. The grease was old and burnt the catfish was hiding in batter. The hush puppies were dry as hell. The red beans and rice was even subpar. I don't know what happened to this place, but they had some nerve upping their prices by damn near 40% and now serving nasty food. First time eating the food from this place. It was recommended by family so we said why not. Pulled up the menu on their website to review. We decided to order the 20 piece fish meal with 2 large sides. The first question I asked was the fish catfish or was it sway? The answer was that it was catfish. So we decided to go ahead with order. We were quoted $2.00 more that online posted price asked why it was stated at their location it is a different price. Upon picking up the food it was hot and smelled good. When we got home the fish is seasoned very well, but after eating it I feel like it is not catfish but sway. I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet.I have gone for lunch on many occasions have even brought co workers. There are many different menu items not just catfish. I like the catfish snack ass its only 3 pieces with one side and you can upgrade your side for only $1. he basket has 5 pieces with side and hush puppies. Their pieces are of a nice size. I usually add the mac and cheese as my side. They are Emmy go to place for catfish, its crispy but not too hard. I recommend you to try them out. read more
