It's enduring and hilarious at the same time. The food is amazing and savory down to the chips and salsa. They have special fresh strawberries if you order a strawberry cocktail. I also don't appreciate the poor attitude that two of the bartenders have been displaying lately. They have favorites and it shows a lot. I understand that when it's time to close it's time to close and go. But if you're serving other people and treating those same people nicer because they're your favorites, well that's not cool. In the end we're all patrons. We all support when consuming. But above all, it's the poor attitude that I will never pay for. I used to like coming here often. I probably will never again. I also know that occasionally in the bar they overcharge for cocktails thinking customers will not notice because they've been drinking and bartenders refuse to adjust the check. This is terrible and now you know.

This was my first time visiting Chilaquilicious--and first of all, what a cute name! We ordered…read morethe menudo, Enchiladas Rojas, and Huevos a la Mexicana, and overall, we had a great experience. The menudo was delicious! The broth had exactly the kind of flavor you look for in a good menudo--rich and smooth, with those subtle but flavorful herbs and spices coming through in every bite. Add the fresh veggies, a squeeze of lime, and suddenly you feel like you're sitting back at your abuelita's kitchen table. ¡Qué rico! The Huevos a la Mexicana were also perfectly seasoned and very flavorful. My hubby ordered a side of Tacos Governador...yummy! My granddaughter ordered the Enchiladas Rojas with chicken. At first, she didn't care for them because the red chile sauce wasn't the style we're used to making and eating at home. We're accustomed to enchiladas made with dried guajillo, New Mexico, or California chiles, so these tasted very different to her. The sauce seemed to be made with fresher ingredients and possibly tomatoes, although I didn't ask exactly what was in it. It still had a nice spicy chile flavor, but because it wasn't what she expected, she initially thought she had received something different. Of course, Grandma had to taste them! And even though they weren't the style of enchiladas we're accustomed to, I thought they were delicious! Sometimes different is still delicious! And I can't forget the Café de Olla. It was perfectly flavored--not overpowering, just warm, comforting, and delicious. I really enjoyed it! On top of all the good food, the customer service was great, which always makes a dining experience even better. The next time I'm in town, I definitely plan on stopping by Chilaquilicious again. There are still more dishes I want to try! I would happily recommend this place to my family and friends. ¡Buen provecho!

I'm obsessed with chilaquiles, so I'm always looking for new places to try. I'm still looking for a…read morereally good spot that makes the way I like. I got the breakfast burrito, and it was really good with the sauce. I liked the bacon in it, and it was huge. But without the sauce, it tasted pretty plain, just like a regular burrito with eggs. Of course, I ordered the chilaquiles, but I was disappointed. I specifically wanted dry chilaquiles, and that's what | ordered. I know the sauce usually makes the tortilla chips soft, but these were really wet and soggy. It honestly felt like it had been sitting out for a while because the food wasn't hot. The flavor was good, but I'm not a fan of soft or too soggy chips. Also, they thought our order was for dine-in, so they gave us chips. When we told them it was to-go, they took the chips back. I was hoping they would still give us chip takeout, but they didn't, which was really disappointing. Cmon you already put it on our table and we told them it's to go they took it right away.

I had a very disappointing experience at Tacos El Superior today, and I feel compelled to share it,…read morenot simply because of the issue with my order, but because of the way the situation was handled. I went through the drive-thru to pick up two carne asada burritos. I intended to pay for one with my credit card and the other with cash. The card transaction was processed at approximately 4:58 p.m. While I was at the window, I noticed the restaurant was advertising a $2 mango slushie special from 2:00-5:00 p.m. I asked the cashier if I could add one to my order due to its $2 special. After paying for the second burrito, I noticed the slushie had been charged nearly twice the advertised promotional price. When I questioned it, I was told that the transaction was processed at 5:02 p.m., so the regular price applied. I was also told there was nothing the cashier could do because the register automatically changed the higher price after 5:00 p.m. I parked and went inside to see if someone could help resolve the issue. Unfortunately, the interaction became much more uncomfortable than it needed to be. A woman working in the kitchen was confrontational and came across as rude and condescending. I wasn't sure whether she was the manager or lead, so I initially chose not to direct my complaint to her. A very kind young woman had just clocked in, and I explained what had happened. She apologized and explained that she couldn't make a decision without management approval. Apparently the rude lady was the lead team member for the crew this evening. What struck me most was the atmosphere among the employees. When the woman asked what was going on, the young employee and the drive-thru cashier both appeared visibly uncomfortable and intimidated. I don't know what their working environment is normally like, and I don't want to make assumptions about anyone's intentions, but as a customer standing there, it was difficult to watch. I wasn't demanding anything unreasonable. I suggested several possible solutions, including simply giving me another slushie to make up for the difference. I didn't necessarily want a refund. Eventually, the rude lady said in an annoying tone, "Just give her the $2 from the cash register." While I appreciated getting the difference back, the way the situation was handled left me feeling embarrassed and unwelcome. This experience wasn't really about $2. It was about how customers and employees are treated. Businesses have every right to enforce their pricing policies, but there is always a way to communicate those policies respectfully and professionally. A little courtesy can make an enormous difference, especially when a customer is simply asking for help resolving a misunderstanding. I genuinely enjoy the carne asada burritos, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. There are many restaurants competing for customers, and respectful treatment should be part of the experience. Most importantly, I hope the employees working there are treated with the same patience, dignity, and respect that every customer deserves. They should feel comfortable asking questions and doing their jobs without feeling intimidated. I hope the management at Tacos El Superior takes this feedback seriously and considers additional customer-service and leadership training. No $2 dispute should ever leave a customer feeling this uncomfortable, and no employee should feel afraid while simply trying to do their job.

There are two Fridays left if you want to partake in the seasonal dishes offered during this time, please bookmark this restaurant. We ordered the two Specials of the Day (Fri., 3/28/25): 1. Tortitas de Camaron con Mole with Nopales and Roasted potatoes (ground breaded Shrimp into small Patties with cactus) $15, served with thick handmade corn tortillas. 2. Capirotada (bread pudding with peanuts & raisins in syrup) $10. We also had Enchiladas in Poblano Mole. Each entree included a cup of Fideo soup, a side of rice and beans. I could not resist the Cafe de Olla (Mexican coffee brewed with a cinnamon stick), this was served with two cookies in a ceramic mug. This is how you would be served in someone's home. I was stunned when they brought it to me. The food was authentic, delicious, good portions. You will love how the food is plated and presented in ceramic dishes (pottery). We didn't finish and brought the rest home for dinner. I literally was transported back to my childhood, when my grandmother would cook these two same dishes during Lent. The hospitality, decor and service makes you feel like you're home. The food restrictions is part if a religious tradition, but anyone can eat these foods. There are only two Fridays left, mark your calendar now. Enjoy and don't forget to tell'em that Rosemary sent ya!

I've really enjoyed my meals and the service (we even had a small spill on the table). It's a smaller restaurant but they do an excellent job on serving you throughout your visit and have some good music playing. You'll start off with chips and salsa which is good not too spicy. Food has been excellent! My daughter kept saying delicioso (Can you say delicioso? *Dora the explorer*) haha. We've made multiple trips since our first time. Carne en su juego had a great tasting salsa. Sopes had a nice crunchiness to them. Chile relleno was very good and juicy. The enchiladas were all very good. One of the things I've enjoyed are tbe hand made tortillas, it's hard to find now a days. They have aguas frescas and it's actually fresh so they may only have one or two each day. Cafe de Olla was good, sweet but I like it (sweet tooth in me) and comes with a cookie. The baño aka restroom also has a changing table (yes no changing the baby on my lap!). We will continue to enjoy the food, service and Mas despacito. God bless
