    Hand made corn tortillas

Great place to eat! We were so hungry and I found this place near the hotel we were staying I hadn't had mole in a while so decided to stop here. The place itself is so cute and folclore full, we ordered an agua de horchata pitcher ; let me tell you not everyone can make good horchata and their agua de horchata was awesome, sweet and creamy as it should. I ordered the enchiladas with mole, chipotle and cilantro; my parents ordered the mole almendrado with chicken breast and with chicken leg, my niece ordered the green mole with chicken leg and they all came with rice and beans. As part of the courtesy they gave us tortilla chips and salsa, and also some ground peppers that tasted awesome on the chicken broth that was also courtesy. They brought us some hand made hot corn tortillas that matched perfectly with the whole meal. I also ordered panela cheese and guacamole as an appetizer . All the flavors were excellent I wanted to order more food but my belly wasn't having anymore. 100% recommended if you're in Tijuana real Mexican food.

It was my first time staying at the Hotel Lucero (across the street from this amazing restaurant) and I saw this cute little restaurant from the corner of my eye as I was arriving . When I tell you the food was it's an understatement! When in there an 1.5 hr before they closed on a Friday night . Had a platter (which I didn't take a picture of) taquitos, sopes, and quesadillas(delicious!) Had a place of Mole Poblano and Tamales! Mole was just delicious, just an amazing texture and taste! Tamaleswere soooo mouthwatering!! The Masa was ... I can't even explain it ... but to say delicious! I had two alcoholic drinks, perro (something) and a margarita. I would stick to the margarita:) I'll Definitely visit them again when I come back!

Who's the original restaurant located in the middle of Tijuana. It's my first time here even though I've been to other restaurants that they owned. This is an authentic and original location with very Mexican style architecture. All I can say is the mole and rice and beans and tortillas are excellent. A must

Food was good, especially the enchiladas and the chilaquillas. We were not a big fan of the Mole. But overall we enjoyed the food.

I had someone call from our hotel and we got right in and there was a line outside. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is all great. Their breakfast goes from American eggs and bacon with the best potatoes to wonderful burrito type breakfast items. Their menudo is great and they have great Mexican meats as well. Lunch and dinner is about the same. They make Mexican style fish and steak that is just perfect every time. All of their Mexican dishes are just wonderful. You can't go wrong. They even have bottled water--never drink the water there, just don't. They have the best rice and beans. The service is great. They make you feel right at home and even if you don't speak Spanish, most speak English and you will figure it out because they will help you. The prices are fair for what you get. At dinner I consider it fine dining. It is all good and you will be happy. The place is also clean and super comfortable.

It has an old spanish mission look on the outside and walking in, you can immediately recognize that it is an impressive and popular place. The decor here is something to write home about. Beautiful wall fixtures, and well crafted local pottery and other artifacts, all around, everywhere. There is ample seating, that is well spaced out. Perfectly pitched Mexican music permeates the atmosphere. There is attentive staff that is so courteous, and welcoming. I wanted to eat lite, and I wanted to eat Mexican, so I chose the Yucatán Tamales. It comes as one pork and one chicken, both slim, wide rectangles, each baked in a banana leaf. They both had their subtle and distinct flavors. Comes with refried beans. The complementary salsas, the rojo and verde, were fresh and tasty. Service was outstanding. Another memorable restaurant in Tijuana, that needs to be filed into the "excellent" and "must go" folders.
