Amazing food, service and atmosphere! Beer is cold and salsa and dip is awesome as well. I will absolutely be coming back!

Can't beat their $35 all you can eat Sunday brunch. Great food selection from ceviche, mole, menudo and queso birria tacos. Phenomenal ambience as Mariachi plays on Sundays as well. Great drink selection. Great service! This is our go to place for birthday celebrations. They have a super cute gansito dessert with a miniature piñata for the celebration. read more

Outstanding place. Salsas and bean dip are excellent, bean dip has smoky asado de puerco on it. Cocktails are great. We had the mole chicken and shrimp tacos. The chicken was amazing...we are foodies and it was a really unique, authentic dish that you don't see in Fort Worth. And price was very fair, outstanding value for such great food and atmosphere read more

EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS !!! The service was great and the food was amazing. Real authentic Mexican food. The beans and rice were perfection. You know the rice is good when it has the peas and carrots in it. IYKYK. The music was also great keep playing real mariachi music. read more

Average food at best. Way too expensive for the quality. Could be fun atmosphere, I will say. Server was nice.

Fantastic! Fresh, delicious food and excellent service. Enjoyed my first lunch at La Cabrona and I look forward to another meal there soon.

Great flavors, fast service. We had fish and shrimp tacos to go with our margaritas. Everything was good. Lots of large groups were there enjoying the bar drinks and atmosphere. I will go there again. read more

The ambiance was really cool The salsas that come with the chips and salsa were excellent . The beans were exceptional. The service was impeccable Chicken mole was decent Carne asada was very good read more

Not a great exp. Took over 10 minutes just to take our drink order. Party of 6 and one meal came out very fast but then the other 5 were almost 15 minutes later so that was awful. They also included gratuity for a party if 6 which feels aggressive. The pro's were we did get a seat on a Saturday early evening without waiting. The the complimentary bean did was excellent read more

First time here and loved it! It's such a colorful place with lots of beautiful hand painted murals throughout, and I love how much natural light they have. The outdoor patio is large and nice. The detail of presentation here is rather lovely from the glassware to how the food is plated. They bring every table, chips, two kinds of salsa and beans (all of which I could just eat with a spoon). The rice here is soooo good. You know how you eat all the good stuff and may leave your rice when you get full? Well not here. It is YUMMY! And the beans and the tacos and the tortillas soup and the shrimp cocktail (which was BUSTIN' with shrimp). My asada steak was cooked perfectly, however it could've used a bit more seasoning! There is so much flavor in everything else! The only two things that could have been better are the Tacos Al Cabron. The tortillas weren't good and the meat very dry. AND the service needs some work, BUT I'm not mad about the service because they were actually trying very hard and everyone is very nice. I think they're all new to working in a restaurant. They just need more training and more practice. I will be back! Next time to try the cocktails cause they look DOPE. read more

My wife and I stopped by for an afternoon lunch before heading to Dickies Arena for a concert. We went based on Yelp reviews and we were not disappointed! David was our waiter and he was fantastic. We had Carne Asada and Mexican Street corn which were both delicious. Not to mention AWESOME margaritas. We highly recommend this restaurant!!! read more

I was excited to give this place a try when I found it amongst the sea of Mexican restaurants in the downtown area of Fort Worth. I loved the name and figured it would be a great place for a girls night out. I made reservations for 6:15 and had zero issues when I got there (Which by the way parking is a little meh. Both my friend and myself lucked out on finding parking spaces that didn't require a meter, but if you can't find one, you will have to pay $20 for the garage or pay $6 for a meter). Walking up I was impressed by how aesthetic this place was! It's truly a really beautiful space with vibrant colors, fun Latino flare and awesome murals inside - not to mention the music they played was such a vibe. I didn't like how the hostess placed me initially in the back at a corner table right up on a wall with a wobbly table. I asked to move to the table next to me while I waited for my friend to get there. Our server was nice. I did get some chips and salsa of which the red salsa was tomato based and was good, the green was excessivelyyy salty. I did try the queso and added chorizo, actually wasn't too bad. Finally my friend got there and I ordered a frozen margarita (strawberry and Mango) which was good and I ordered the Quesabirria tacos, which were alright. Tasted good and the 3 they gave was filling. Wasn't a fan of the rice, the peas are random for me, but the softness of thr rice was good. As for the desert? Horrible. I LOVE tres leches, it's literally my favorite cake - This one wasn't the best one, it tasted like a watered down ice cream cone that you get from restaurants - yuck. I had to send it back after the first bite and got the churros instead, which were better than expected. Nothing special. Maybe I came on an "off" night, but not sure I'd go back for the food to give it another try - if anything I'd go back for the aesthetics, that's literally it! It's the perfect place for selfies and vlogging just not the best for solid Latino cuisine. read more

I came here with a party of 13 ladies for my 63rd birthday. The spicy salsa & bean dips were amazingly full of flavor. My tacos al Cabron were perfectly authentic!!!! It brought back memories of my hometown of Cali. Our server was a total sweetheart, extremely attentive & made excellent recommendations. The interior is Dia De Los Muertos & therefore absolutely colorful. It's so welcoming & cozy. I will definitely be back to try another dish. I truly enjoyed my birthday read more

This place excels at everything: delicious food, a bright fun atmosphere and excellent service. I think if you put this place anywhere else in Fort Worth and they would seriously give Mi Cocina a run for their money. I have to believe that the only reason a place this good would be dead during a Friday lunch (during the Stock Show no less!) is that they're located in 7th Street. read more

It's really difficult for restaurants to get a grilled pulpo perfect. However to my surprise La Cabrona did it right! The Pulpo was seasoned and grilled to perfection. It was tender and flavorful so don't let the Market Price sticker scare you away from ordering. The simple but seasoned papas were a good companion with the grilled pulpo. I will definitely be back to try other dishes. read more

A note regarding Taco Tuesday: Dec. 10 we thought we'd try taco Tuesday thinking their regular tacos, typically about $16 for 3 tacos including rice and beans, would be somewhat discounted. But no. Nothing on the regular menu was available. Nothing. Instead you were offered the "Taco buffet"... make your own tacos, no limit, for $25 per person. Not even the $3 taco on the happy hour bar menu was available. We decided to pass as did 2 other couples during the 20 minutes we drank our happy hour frozen margaritas. An employee admitted that customers found this scenario to be confusing. So.. there ya' go, you now know the deal about the deal. We WILL return another time when the full menu is offered as it looks like an appealing place. Hopefully more stars at that time read more

The food is so gross it's so pretty but who ever is the chef need to rethink their career path. Ambiance 10/10 even tho the bathroom doesn't match and has lake rocks in the sink the waiter was nice and that's probably the best part of this restaurant id be surprised if they last a year read more

The food and flavors were incredible. Our server was wonderful--so helpful in guiding us through all the vegetarian options. The ambiance felt like being transported to a charming little town in Mexico. The spices were the highlight, especially the salsa verde and the potatoes. A special request to the chefs: please don't change a thing! We love the authentic Mexican spices and flavors. This is easily one of the best Mexican restaurants on 7th Street read more

This place is lovely, the decor is super nice with beautiful touches everywhere. The server was friendly. We had one margarita at $15 which was a half glass filled to the brim with ice. Very disappointed with that. I got birria tacos and my wife got the relleno. The food was not great, the relleno was really not good. I will say we didn't care for the type of cheese they use but others might. The sauce was bland. The rice and beans were good. My tacos were so lightly cooked they were chewy not crispy. They weren't bad but not great. Also a little thing was the cup of birria sauce to dip into was so small you couldn't dip it much. Elote was ok. We finished with the tres leches cake. This a new place and if the food elevates to match the decor it will be great. Right now it wasn't worth the money we spen read more
