Not good - lacking that fresh from the kitchen crunch and temp.

Hotel recommended, place isn't good. Service not good, pizza not good, the calamari starter was not good - rubbery, maybe reheated, definitely wasn't fresh hot. Table next to us, literally on our laps, at least they got bread. They almost got our food too as the runner dropped off our food at their table initially. Tons of kids, maybe more of a place to bring bambino's. But even the price isn't good for kids. The espresso was good.

Great spot near a lot of hotels. Looks small from the outside but they had a basement, main floor, upstairs, and outdoor seating. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You could watch them making the pasta in the window, which was fun while waiting for a takeout order to take back to my hotel. The prices were very reasonable for the amount of food you get. The pizza is very thin which is the traditional Rome way. Both pizzas were delicious but cooked different. One was a little undercooked but still very good. The drinks were ice cold which was very appreciated. I would definitely come back and try more things on their menu!

We got an outside table easily on a weekday for lunch at La Bruschetta. I went inside the restaurant to use the restroom, and saw that there was a lot of seating indoors as well. There is a window you can look into from the sidewalk outside where you can watch one of the employees making fresh pasta! The service was very friendly while ordering and receiving our meals. I ordered a ravioli dish, mushroom and cheese in a butter and sage sauce. It was very good, but unfortunately I ate about 20 minutes after the rest of my family because the wrong dish was brought to me at first. They made my dish as quickly as possible but it was a little disappointing. The kids wanted to have the Nutella pizza for dessert, which is basically a thin crust covered with Nutella, but if you're a Nutella fan you'll love it! There are many places to eat in Rome and I am glad I tried La Bruschetta!

My girlfriend and I came here upon a recommendation by a lady at the hotel. My girlfriend really enjoyed her salmon linguine with cream sauce, but I had the pesto linguine, and it was not as tasty as I make it at home. I generally use a lot of garlic, pine nuts and basil, so my dish here was just okay. We both ordered gelato for dessert, it came in three scoops, she had the hazelnut gelato and I had the limone gelato. She only had two scoops, I ate the third. I ate all of my limone gelato, it was very light, lemony and tasty with a hint of tartness. I recommend this place because of the gelato, but because the salmon cream pasta was good, I gave this place four stars. It's centrally located in a ritzy part of Rome near the Westin Excelsior Hotel. As we were leaving, there were a ton of people waiting in line to come into the restaurant to dine, so it's a very popular place to eat. Do try it out, and make space for a gelato in your tummy, because the flavors are both delightful and delicious! It's a very cute, very small place, so be sure to make your dining reservations in advance! Do try to taxi a taxi or bus, because parking is crowded right in this location.

Our tour guide recommended this place that is a 5 minute walk fromwhere we were staying, Hotel La Residenza. The service was excellent. I started with the artichoke. It's Roman style which means steamed, if you like artichoke this was delicious. I had the fettuccine bolognese and it was really good. We also tried the desserts. The cheesecake is lighter than what you would expect in the states but good. My favorite dessert however was the pistachio gelato. Great place for a casual dinner.

This is cool local establishment with pasta and pizza options. Both are made fresh in house. The service is good and the ambiance is romantic and friendly. We were able to reserve a table outside and enjoy our mile while enjoying the Roman vibe. We had several different pastas including fettuccine Alfredo, calamari pasta, spicy tomato, and shared a pizza. The pizza was delicious. I could eat a few of them! Like many places in Europe, be prepared to pay the same for water as you do for soda or beer. Our group of 6 drank €20 of water alone!!! Great food and many options. If you have a larger group I recommend making a reservation.

    Mozzarella and tomatoes

Had the lasagne and the margarita pizza. Also the mozzarella with tomatoes (tomatoes tasted like they were perfectly ripe!). Kinda small but in a quaint fashion. Very attentive staff. Would definitely recommend.

Rounding up to 4 from 3.5 because of great service. Would pull back 1/2 star from 4 for the "bread service charge" they add to your bill. Went here a few weeks ago with a few coworkers. We split appetizers of deep fried olives, artichoke & bruschetta. They were all good and we were happy with them all. I had the cannelloni and it was the best thing I've eaten in Rome in 2 years. One coworker got the fettuccine ragu and I was almost jealous I didn't get it. I'll get it next time. The 3rd coworker got the least amazing dish, ravioli, but she still enjoyed it. Nice pours of wine, reservations not necessary if you go early but I would recommend making anyways to insure you get a table.

Great little ristorante in via Veneto. Ambience is friendly and relaxed. Food came out fairly quick. Everything was handmade and delicious. Staff spoke English, if you need it, and was courteous and happy. We got a prosciutto and buffalo mozzarella plate. Perfect. Buffalo mozz was flavorful and consistent. Prosciutto was salty and sweet. We also had a prosciutto pizza, it was good. No surprises. And a pesto pasta, it was fresh, light, and perfectly seasoned. Chianti classic was good, house white wine was on the sweeter side. Tiramisu was fantastic. Get it! Total was ~$130USD for all of that.

Nice small restaurant. Good homemade pasta. We had the mixed salad, fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, then tiramisu. Very yummy. Friendly servers who spoke English with us, and cozy atmosphere. Not super romantic. More casual and comfy.

Great Family owned Restaurant. We loved the stuffed Olives and the house white wine. The Pizza was so good we ordered another one to go.

When we arrived on a late afternoon, we waited about 10 minutes before getting seated. To start off, we got the Limoncello Spritz (€10) and Aperol Spritz (€10), which were refreshing. For our pasta, we ordered the Fettuccine with Oxtail (€18) and Carbonara (€17). We also wanted to order two more Secondi dishes, but the waiter warned us that the pasta is filling. After we finished the pasta, we did still order the Rabbit (€19) because it wasn't something we usually see on the menu. For the carbonara, the flavor was delicious but not really my favorite pasta shape. It was also quite al dente with a chewy texture. I have to say that the oxtail was spectacular though with its juicy and tender meat sauce. While the rabbit was nice to try once, it was a bit dry with minimal meat. Overall, good spot but nothing worth waiting too long for. Also, I'd stick to the pasta here as it's all handmade. You even see them handrolling them inside. Note that they also charge €2 per person for service fee already.

From the food to the experience, this place is a must when you're in Rome. I'd come back again and again without hesitation.

Our hotel manager had suggested another restaurant, but I was apprehensive to try, but did later, more on that restaurant review in it's own post. I rather did what I should have done throughout the trip to, which is to search google for local reviews. This tactic I found to be much better than to trust American reviews for restaurants to visit from Youtube or even here, just because the American touristy taste tends to favor bland or Olive Garden style pseudo Italian. The real Italian taste is much different and something one needs to develop. I was familiar with European Italian food, as I had said before in other reviews that Mexico has better Italian food outside of Italy. Additionally, the good restaurants here in Italy do not open before 7 PM. If it does or if someone that looks foreign to Italy is outside trying to lure you in, it's a tourist restaurant with iffy flavor. At this restaurant my husband had the Lobster pasta and I had the spinach/ricotta ravioli, and we both were beyond satisfied. We also had the artichoke as an appetizer, and trusted the waiter with his suggestion for a bottle of wine. He must have been some genius because the wine went well with our meal. The ambience was cozy and very family oriented, however, the rain outside made it romantic for us. Another key point for this restaurant and it traditional flare was that they brought out the olive oil and red vinegar for our salad and of course olive oil for our wonderful home-made bread. I'm so glad we chose this place for those of us Americans who understand culinary cuisine.
