Homemade noodles with the perfect al dente consistency makes all the difference. Several of the times we came we actually saw the woman in the front of the restaurant making the noodles. Great selection of red & white wine. We actually ordered a case of the house white to have shipped home. Top 5 tiramisu that I've had in Italy. Service and management is exception. This was one of THE best casual meals we had in Rome. We arrived just after 3p, which is an off-time so were able to be seated immediately. We started with a bottle of wine, which was the most expensive part of our meal! The pizza was exceptional, and my tuna salad was fresh and very tasty. We finished with a biscotti desert with sweet wine, that was delicious. Unexpectedly, we were also offered free limoncello when we were finished. The service was relaxed and it was so nice not to be rushed. This is definitely a place I'd recommend and we hope to revisit. read more

This was the perfect end to our trip to Italy! The food was amazing! The owners are the nicest people and you can tell the staff is a family! (That we left feeling part of that family) Our pallets were so happy and I left wanting to recreate everything we ate. Don't waste your $ here. So many better places. Ripped us off asking if we wanted Foccacia . We really didn't but brought it & charged us$5. Worst bread I had in Italy. Food was mediocre at best. Service was awful asked for salt&oliveoil 3x. Added 10% service charge for their crappy service onto the bill. We usually leave 20% we paid the bill & left. I'm honestly surprised by the high ratings for this place. I ordered the Cacio e Pepe and my wife had the Carbonara--unfortunately, both dishes were disappointing and we couldn't finish them. To top it off, we were told at the end of the meal that the credit card machine wasn't working, so we had to either pay in cash or return the next morning when their edit card machine was working. The interior was really cozy and quaint. If you do go here, you MUST have the Tiramisu. They are well known for their dessert and it was the best I've had in Italy. After a hot and steamy walking afternoon in Rome I found myself starving and staring at the Ponte e Parione sign and decided to give them a try. There was a welcoming lady making fresh pasta at the door and friendly waiters ready to assist. After a quick glance at their menu, the waiter suggested the ravioli (which he grabbed from the lady who was making them fresh ;)) and it didn't disappoint, they were perfectly cooked and tasted light and fresh. Burrata crostini was OK, not good or bad. Ambiance is your typical Italian restaurant with friendly banter amongst staff and with guests. I got in at the right time as it got busy and there was a line waiting for tables when I left. If I'm back in the area I will def go back to this restaurant to try their pizzas. I saw lots of pizzas coming out of the kitchen and they all looked delicious. read more

Wow. Sooo good! This place has the BEST bruschetta I've EVER had in my life. Even my non-tomato eating husband loves it. The tomatoes were the perfect ripeness, seasoned well and didn't make the bread soggy. The pasta is literally made while you're sitting there. But I had the potato and ham pizza and that was also really good. I split the homemade tiramisu with a family member but the custard was creamy and delish. If I wasn't so full, I wouldn't have shared. We'll be going back for another visit while we're here. read more

Just walked away from Ponte e Parione for the 3rd time this week and loved every dish ordered as well as the attentive service received by Daniel, Maurizio, and the sweet Gianluca. We are a mixed race tech professional couple from San Francisco Bay Area with a kid, and had a potentially racist or anti American experience. In a city full of unbiased service restaurants, it was an aberration so go somewhere else. People that arrived after us got their drinks faster, while we had to ask the waiter three times and only got our drink after speaking with the chef. Then our waiter asked us to leave when it started raining, as our stroller was in the rain, while he did not ask the family next to us. Then our waiter pretended like their credit card terminal didn't work, asking for cash, while it seemed like others could use the terminal just fine. I can't tell his motivation for sure or if the waiter misunderstood our SF fleece jacket as us being poor, but I overall lean toward the explanation that it's a "foreigner" bias and a bit of racism involved. Not recommended for anyone that is a bit more diverse in looks or west coast fashion. read more

We are staying at an Airbnb super close to this amazing family restaurant. Our host recommended this restaurant and we visited during our first night. Afterwards, we were always wanting to return. The service is superb. The wife is often at the front making fresh pasta. Everyone working is part of a family who take care of their guests with a sense of care, love and urgency. We had dinner here during our last three nights. The owner noticed us, and was super kind. The waiters were super friendly, and provided excellent customer service. They interacted with us, and it was never impersonal. We felt welcomed and it was truly a home away from home. Our Roman home/family. We highly recommend the crostini with burrata with prosciutto and with specially the one with fish and zucchini flower. For main entree we recommend the Bucatini all Amatricina with fresh pasta. Our lunch was good but I've had better food while in Rome. The competition is really tough haha. We shared the zucchini flowers stuffed with mozzarella and tomatoes, wrapped in bacon. That was good but I think there was too much cheese and it took away from the flower and the bacon. Good though. We then shared the fresh homemade tagliatelle with mussels and a gigantic prawn. Great flavors and substance, a little too aldente and I didn't enjoyed the pasta as much because of it... The staff was so so so sweet and welcoming and they make sure you are comfortable.
