Finally had a chance to grab breakfast from LA Breakfast Burritos again! So yummy! Loved the quesadilla, I added a second meat for $3. Had veggies and no potatoes. Burrito was huge and this was with light potatoes. Everything was quite flavorful. Love their secret sauce. Take cash or Zelle. 256 S. Had a really bad experience today, this is not a good way to run a business! We wanted to support a local business but need to warn others about it now. I called in a phone order at 8:00 for 2 burritos, waited a bit and arrived at 8:15, our burritos weren't ready or cooked. There were 3 people waiting when I arrived so they made their burritos first, then ours finished at 8:25, why call in an order if they are not going to start it until you arrive? Next I was overcharged 3 times!!!!!! In California is it illegal to charge merchant fees. There is no sign posted stating additional charges. 1. On the receipt it shows a processing fee $.87 for the burrito 2. There is an additional charge of $1 for credit fees 3. The girl added an additional tip $4.80 I did not enter When I tapped my card on the phone it does not show the total amount being charged so I was unaware until AFTER I received the email receipt. There was no option for ME to enter a tip so the merchant had to manually add that. Also I didn't sign to approve the purchase. They are maliciously overcharging everyone, do not accept these additional charges!!!!

I've passed by many times and was so surprised to see all the amazing reviews on Yelp. I of course had to try it. Especially since I've been craving breakfast burritos. The menu is simple yet customizable. I got the bacon breakfast burrito with no bacon but you can also sub for sausage or add stuff etc. BF got the sausage burrito and the sausage pieces were big which is good. Our favorite things about the burritos were the soft scrambled eggs and the potatoes. The potatoes were smashed yet crispy. Absolutely delicious. They make every burrito to order so it took about 10 mins to get our food which is pretty fast. We saw them cook everything fresh and even make the guacamole fresh to order. Theres only three of them and they work well. No one seemed stressed or rushed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Even though its an outside street vendor you can tell that the ambience and good food is what keep people coming back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We paid $28 for two burritos which is a good price. The portion are big and we were full after. Thank you LA BREAKFAST BURRITOS. See you soon!

Amazing service every time I go. The breakfast burritos & quesadillas taste wonderful. From crispy bacon to beautifully golden crisp potatoes , down to the savory spicy sauce that makes the food perfection. With every bite you get sensational flavors of pico , guac, scrambled eggs with cheese. One of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is great as well , nice shaded area so you're not completely in the sun while you wait for your order.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Thank you for your hard work & dedication you put into your food.

One of the better breakfast burritos I've had in LA. The taste is solid and the portion size is decent. The price is...fine, about what I expect for LA, but I'd like the burrito to be just a little bigger to justify it. That being said, it's not unreasonable for the quality. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The main drawbacks are the setup and wait. The stand is outdoors in a parking lot with very little shade, so it can get hot while waiting for your order.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Wait times can be a bit long even with a few orders ahead of you, and the hours are limited which makes it tricky to catch them if you like sleeping in on the weekends. But if you can work around the wait and timing, it's worth adding to your breakfast burrito list.

Best breakfast burrito I've ever had. The service was great as well. Too bad they don't have any locations in San Diego but if I return back to visit L.A I will have to make a mandatory stop to grab some.

Was mad hungry after picking up my Black Friday haul, and found this joint nearby. I parked in the liquor store parking lot, and quickly got my order in. The person taking my order was super friendly and made sure to highlight the menu offerings. I appreciate the menu being limited to six offerings. They have a seating area within the tented area while you wait for your order, which is a nice touch. The breakfast burritos have a twist in that they put in beans; however I was willing to go out of my comfort zone, and I ordered the bacon burrito. I really like that they put in rosemary in the eggs, which was a good touch. Overall, I respect the food and the hustle, but it still left something to be desired.

I loved the avocado and hash brown combination, and the salsa that came with it paired really well, a little kick with it. The portion size was great and definitely filled me up. The service was fast, but seating is pretty limited since it's mainly outdoors. Parking can be a little rough because it's street parking only, and it was pretty full when I came on a Saturday morning. I would definitely come back. [Parking]: Free small public parking lot directly across from the shop. [Amenities]: This is a really small coffee shop with no indoor tables and only two small outdoor tables. No restroom is available. [Menu]: Yelp's top highlighted items are the Breakfast Burrito, Teddy Bear (double espresso, agave, housemade vanilla cold foam, Teddy Grahams), and Banana Nut. All drinks are made with oat milk. Please note that the kitchen closes at 1 PM on Monday - Tuesday and 2 PM on Wednesday- Sunday even though the cafe remains open for another 1 - 2 hours. Come early for anyone wanting to try kitchen items like breakfast burrito or breakfast sandwich. *** Banana nut (double espresso, house made vanilla cold foam, house made banana syrup - medium $7.50): It came with two banana chips. The cold foam was quite underrated and I could taste a hint of banana flavor. The drink wasn't as sweet as I had expected - I liked it. Breakfast burrito (Refried beans, soyrizo, tofu scramble, crispy hashbrowns and sliced avocado wrapped in a flour tortilla - $13.50): Portion wasn't huge, but it also wasn't small enough to finish in one sitting. It had one of the softest texture for breakfast burritos. The soyrizo was very flavorful. It also came with a side of salsa - quite spicy but flavorful at the same time. *** I probably still prefer meat-based breakfast burritos, but their soyrizo breakfast burrito is quite good and the coffee drink is excellent (4.5-star for both items). I would definitely recommend this small coffee shop for a quick grab-and-go.

The eggs were soft, pillowy and cooked to PERFECTION. Not overdone and not super runny either. The chicken was extremely tender and flavorful. The sauce they used was sweet and savory, the pickled onions balanced it all out with the perfect acidity. I wish I was around this area a lot more, I'll definitely be coming back!

I started with the chips and mole sauce, which was delicious and such a great way to start the meal. For my entrée, I ordered the wet burrito with chicken tinga. I LOVE tinga, and the presentation and flavor of this burrito were great. Fair warning, though--it was a little too spicy for my palate, so I couldn't even finish half of it. The coffee was well-made - it wasn't burnt, overly bitter, or sour, so the extraction seemed solid. However, the flavor felt flat and watered down. It lacked the aroma, body, and rich roasted notes that make a cup memorable. Nothing really stood out, leaving it tasting more diluted than satisfying. Also, I don't think the barista could froth the coffee well. Instead of a nice velvety, dense froth, the froth was a bubbly foam (see photo). Food - 3/5. I visited around 9 a.m., but the pastry selection was surprisingly limited (see photo). The pastries also didn't taste particularly fresh; they had more of the texture and flavor you'd expect from pastries sitting out later in the day rather than freshly baked items you'd hope to find early in the morning. The café has a modern, hip vibe and a warm, inviting atmosphere. It's spacious, with plenty of seating, making it a pleasant place to spend some time. Overall, Smoking Tiger Coffee Lab is a fine neighborhood café if you're looking for a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a coffee. Unfortunately, neither the coffee nor the food left much of an impression. Nothing was particularly bad, but nothing really stood out either. While the ambiance is probably its strongest point, the coffee is just average.
