    Coffee time

So we found out a few months back that this place was here. We also heard that they had Conchas or Pan Dulce, we arrived and this place was booming! Loving the vibe and the music was good. We ordered 2 Cappuccino's and then we waited..... and waited.... 30 minutes later we get our coffee BUT! It was the wrong order‍. We figured we would probably wait another 30 minutes so the wife said that we should just leave, but we waited and soon after we got our correct order. The Cappuccino was really good! And it was nice being able to sit and drink out of a reg coffee cup instead of the typical to go type of cups. The waitress ditched us afterwards though so we had to get up and ask for our bill. The manager was very nice and we chatted for awhile. Overall I really enjoyed the coffee, hopefully when we come back we won't wait as long.

Got here with some coworkers right when they opened at 0900 on a Saturday, but there were already like six to seven other tables seated, so it looks like they do open a little earlier than 0900. Pretty extensive menu with a lot of different items and drinks. I got the chilaquiles with red sauce and added a steak for a total of $25.00. Everything on the plate was really good, from the chips to the steak, eggs, beans, and potatoes. Loved taking a bite with a little bit of everything in each bite. The portion size was also decent. Service was fast and friendly. My coworkers seemed to enjoy their meals too and they also liked their lattes and their drinks. Place got pretty busy by the time we left. Parking lot is pretty small, so I'm not sure where else you can park if it fills up. Overall, I really enjoyed my breakfast here and would definitely come back if I'm back in the area.

So far the burrito is delicious. Customer service has been great. Already came here about 4 times previously. They're always welcoming. The cafe de leche is my favorite. My sister said the chilaquiles were good. Haven't tried them.

Customer service needs improvement. The lattes are pretty and taste great, but the entire vibe is killed when service isn't all that

Everything started off well when we arrived at the restaurant, but once our food arrived, my friend found her chilaquiles to be very dry. The waitress refused to bring us a little bit of hot sauce to try--we didn't want a whole liter, just a small amount so my friend could dip her chilaquiles and I could add some to my potatoes and eggs. The bottom line is that we felt a bit ignored; honestly, it's not a place we would return to.

Once my date and I came in we we were welcome with a Valentine brunch special and their regular menu. We decided to try out their regular menu and I ordered the breakfast burrito and my date chose the croissant. We also got the banana French toast and I ordered a mimosa and my date ordered a coffee martini. The service was good they will check in when they had to. The ambiance feels like a little fancy jungle. I enjoyed how spacious it is.

The seating was very nice. There is booths all along the wall. Lots of tv's, but low sound of music. The atmosphere is nice. You order at the counter first and then take your number to your table, which I actually really liked. No one hovering or checking on you every five minutes -- they just drop off your food, bring utensils, and let you enjoy your meal in peace. The conchas were the biggest letdown. They were pretty dry and had that "sat out for a while" texture. We only took one bite of each and left the rest. They're only about fifty cents, so I wasn't mad about the price, but with concha in the name, I expected them to taste way better. The potatoes were a hit -- super well seasoned. The croissant sandwich was delicious. The bread was crazy good and the cheese they use is really tasty. If you don't like a runny yolk, make sure to ask them to cook it through. I swapped the side salad for potatoes for an extra $3. The huevos rancheros had a great amount of spice and everything was cooked perfectly. It was on the greasy side, but honestly, with chorizo involved, that's kind of expected. The honey vanilla iced latte was delicious -- just a light hint of honey. If you don't want a strong honey flavor, this is perfect. The dulce de leche iced latte was also really good and not overly sweet, which I appreciated. Overall, solid food with some standout items, but I probably wouldn't go back for the conchas.

Hadn't been here in a while and I must say things have improved for the better. Wasn't a big fan of ordering first at counter. They have gone back to a normal sit down style restaurant. The aesthetics have improved since our last visit. We approve of the changes. We were happily greeted and seated. Friendly attentive staff. Our food came out pretty fast for being a busy Saturday morning. My kids shared chicken tenders and a waffle. Nothing but smiles. I had their breakfast croissant and it was really good. Just the right amount of bacon and the eggs cooked to my liking. My wife had their breakfast burrito and she was happy. Brunch is not complete without mimosas. Shared a champagne bottle. Good deal for a couple. Don't sleep on their coffee. We ordered a matcha with strawberry to go. I think it could improve. The flavor reminded us of strawberry quick. Couldn't really taste the matcha. Other than that we enjoyed our experience.

Everything was good. The service, the food, the coffee and concha's provided while you wait to be served. It's an order and pay before you are seated, but adding extras at a later time is easily done. The cafe does get busy, so wait to get inside can be a bit long and the noise is the cafe is a bit loud. Parking may be tough, but there's street parking is lot is full. Definitely worth a try.

As indicated in the reviews, it is inside the Mr. Tempo building. It could have been because we went in on the brunch/lunch part of the day we didn't get the little conchas as indicated by others. Husband and I ordered our food up front, along with a bottle of champagne to make our mimosas to our liking. Food was pretty good all around. Good service and experience.

A Breakfast Symphony: An Unforgettable Morning at Concha's Cafe Sometimes, a meal transcends mere eating and becomes a pure, unadulterated celebration. That was my experience this morning, and I am still basking in the delicious afterglow. From the first sip to the last bite, every element was a masterpiece. Let's start with the star of the show: The Chilaquiles with Red Sauce, Potatoes, and Flap Steak. This was not just a plate of food; it was a vibrant, textured fiesta. The house-made red sauce was the heart of the dish--rich, smoky, with a gentle warmth that built lovingly, not aggressively. It clung perfectly to each crisp-then-tender triangle of tortilla. The potatoes were a revelation: golden, crispy on the outside, fluffy within, and seasoned like a dream. And the flap steak? Absolute perfection. Juicy, beautifully charred at the edges, and sliced with care, it was tender enough to melt alongside the other components. Together, it was a harmonious, satisfying blend of crunch, softness, spice, and savor that left me wishing the plate would magically refill itself. Then came the French Toast with Bananas and Strawberries. Oh, my. This was a dessert masquerading as breakfast, and I welcomed it with open arms. The bread was luxuriously thick, soaked in a custard that cooked into a golden, almost caramelized exterior, giving way to a soft, pillowy interior. The fresh, sweet strawberries and creamy slices of banana were the perfect fresh counterpart. It was decadent without being heavy, sweet without being cloying--a little slice of morning heaven. Fast service. To tie this magnificent feast together was the Café de Olla. This wasn't just coffee; it was a warm, spiced hug in a mug. The deep, smoky notes of the coffee blended seamlessly with the comforting sweetness of piloncillo and the subtle hint of cinnamon and clove. It was the aromatic, soul-warming companion that elevated the entire meal, sip by incredible sip. In summary, this wasn't just breakfast; it was an event. A flawless trio of savory, sweet, and spiced that showcased skill, care, and incredible flavor. My highest recommendation--I will be dreaming of this meal until I can return! Rating: 10/10 - A perfect morning celebration on a plate (and in a mug!).

We ordered a breakfast burrito, comes with cheese, egg, bacon, avocado, and potato breakfast croissant (10/10) bacon, egg, cheese, avocado and two Americanos. We got two free conchas So you come in, place your order, get a number and then sit down. It seems like it used to be a Mr. Tempo Cantina Observations. You get free conchas once your place your order. Very accommodating asking if our plates look okay. Great food, great customer service! Would definitely come back again!!

Had so much hope for this place based on a few recommendations, but sadly it didn't meet my expectations. You order at the counter and then you seat yourself, not a fan as some ppl were already seating at tables without placing their order. Agree with the other comments about tipping in advance, dont agree. The food, super cute idea to handout a mini concha, unfortunately I didn't get mine when I order my food I ended up having to ask for it when they brought my drink. I ordered the chicken and waffles and as you can see from my pictures I got chicken tenders and waffles, super disappointed!! The flavor was a dry rub of what it tasted like cayenne pepper, do yourselves a favor a skip this dish, not worth the price. Seemed like they were short handed and they didn't check on our group, we had to flag somebody down to ask for a water. Waited about 15 min and the water never came, I ended up walking up to the bar area and got my own water. As we were leaving, a valet was setting up, not sure if it's complementary but seemed a bit odd for this type of establishment.

The sandwich was thick and well-builtbwith corned beef and sourkraut and a slice of Swiss cheese, melting but not melted. I was fine with that. The lunch came on a metal tray, but because I was sharing, our lovely server brought us a platter without me having to ask. You can get your choice of Cole slaw or sweet potato and other possibilities like oni9n rings, but we went with basic fries. I loved that the fries were not presalted, or they were lightly salted, but mom needed to sprinkle more on and she found some black bits made from bad potatoes. 3 of 5. We both loved the lemonade, very refreshing 5 of 5. And while we were disappointed there wasn't any pumpkin pecan cheesecake or key lime pie or pecan pie, we were told they were only special holiday items, we decided on cherry pie a la mode. The pie was hot, but the huge helping if ice cream managed to hold together and not be soup despite the hot cherry pie slice. Overall both mom and I wete impressed with the lunch...and also the clientele were very nice....one told us about the free entree and free pie slice if it's your birthday, so immediately I hit the website on my phone and signed up for their rewards program ...then another neighboring patron helped us with the Wednesday Bingo. Whaassst? They have bingo??!! Every Wednesday. You don't pay for the fun...it's free to play. You can win a to go container of cookies made fresh on the premises....snickerdoodle, chocolate chip etc ...the games are from 4 to 6 pm. And it's hilarious...you bingo in shapes like a 7 or railroad tracks. .this kind of bingo game play was foreign to me. But the host (i think his name was Leo) he came around to every table passing out colored dabber pens and bingo cards...and he showed the pattern on his mobile phone...the host was lively and had all the game equipment to call a legit bingo game. Big-time fun. My mom was delighted, and would have stayed but I had another appointment so we cut out after three games. I actually won one round, but so did another guy, so we went to sudden death, and I lost out on the oatmeal cookies...bummer!! Highly recommend Wednesday at Pollys Pies. Plenty of free parking. Thank you Polly Pies for the good food, great pie, and for the Bingo!! And the friendly staff. My mom and I had a blast.

Cinnamon French toast - crunch like it sounds, delicious and really resembles the cereal as well as a churro texture Cowboy burger - what can I say, a burger from the west, big juicy patty, bacon and egg topped with their delicious sauce, perfectly paired. Boiled pork omelette - you'll need a big appetite for this one. Don't be fooled by its size, it's more food than one can probably eat alone. Big flavor, pork was seasoned well and bbq sauce was a nice touch in the eggs. Potatoes were also on point! The set up: you order up front, pay, take a number & find yourself a table & food will be delivered to you. Easy peasy! Hubby ordered the Classic Benedict & of course I ordered the star of the show- Ube French Toast (Ube condensed milk & coconut flakes on the side). Additionally, I ordered a side of grilled chicken. Alexis, the order taker brought our dishes separately & Hubby cannot wait so he dug right in before mine arrived. I know it's not intentional, but I noticed that bigger table (6 patrons) had arrived after we did and they received their food very shortly and all at the same time. Not digging that. In any case, my food finally came & the anticipation was tingly. It's the best part, the toasts were crispy crunchy on the outside & moist on the inside-- so good! Well balanced sweetness, I had control over how much ube condensed milk was poured- that's a plus. Hubby didn't like the muffin of his eggs Benedict because he said it was "tough & stale" but the potatoes & eggs were good. We finished off the French toast in a heartbeat. Background music was too loud for our taste (and ears) to enjoy brunch, the aesthetics were on point. Parking is very tricky, so glad we found one a block away (free city parking structure). It's worth returning for the one French toast.
