So we found out a few months back that this place was here. We also heard that they had Conchas or Pan Dulce, we arrived and this place was booming! Loving the vibe and the music was good. We ordered 2 Cappuccino's and then we waited..... and waited.... 30 minutes later we get our coffee BUT! It was the wrong order‍. We figured we would probably wait another 30 minutes so the wife said that we should just leave, but we waited and soon after we got our correct order. The Cappuccino was really good! And it was nice being able to sit and drink out of a reg coffee cup instead of the typical to go type of cups. The waitress ditched us afterwards though so we had to get up and ask for our bill. Got here with some coworkers right when they opened at 0900 on a Saturday, but there were already like six to seven other tables seated, so it looks like they do open a little earlier than 0900. Pretty extensive menu with a lot of different items and drinks. I got the chilaquiles with red sauce and added a steak for a total of $25.00. Everything on the plate was really good, from the chips to the steak, eggs, beans, and potatoes. Loved taking a bite with a little bit of everything in each bite. The portion size was also decent. Service was fast and friendly. My coworkers seemed to enjoy their meals too and they also liked their lattes and their drinks. Place got pretty busy by the time we left. Parking lot is pretty small, so I'm not sure where else you can park if it fills up. Overall, I really enjoyed my breakfast here and would definitely come back if I'm back in the area. read more

The seating was very nice. There is booths all along the wall. Lots of tv's, but low sound of music. The atmosphere is nice. You order at the counter first and then take your number to your table, which I actually really liked. No one hovering or checking on you every five minutes -- they just drop off your food, bring utensils, and let you enjoy your meal in peace. The conchas were the biggest letdown. They were pretty dry and had that "sat out for a while" texture. We only took one bite of each and left the rest. They're only about fifty cents, so I wasn't mad about the price, but with concha in the name, I expected them to taste way better. The potatoes were a hit -- super well seasoned. The croissant sandwich was delicious. The bread was crazy good and the cheese they use is really tasty. If you don't like a runny yolk, make sure to ask them to cook it through. I swapped the side salad for potatoes for an extra $3. The huevos rancheros had a great amount of spice and everything was cooked perfectly. It was on the greasy side, but honestly, with chorizo involved, that's kind of expected. The honey vanilla iced latte was delicious -- just a light hint of honey. Hadn't been here in a while and I must say things have improved for the better. Wasn't a big fan of ordering first at counter. They have gone back to a normal sit down style restaurant. The aesthetics have improved since our last visit.We approve of the changes. We were happily greeted and seated. Friendly attentive staff. Our food came out pretty fast for being a busy Saturday morning. My kids shared chicken tenders and a waffle. Nothing but smiles. I had their breakfast croissant and it was really good. It's an order and pay before you are seated, but adding extras at a later time is easily done. The cafe does get busy, so wait to get inside can be a bit long and the noise is the cafe is a bit loud. Im just gonna give bullet points of everything that was wrong. -focus on jam packing the restaurant and then forget about you once seated -loud, over stimulating. TVs on, music on, packed. Does not give chill cafe vibe. -food was okay but waited an hour for it to come out. -not a good place if you have little ones. They will get restless waiting. All in all, this place has potential, but they either need to scale it down or have enough staff to be able to handle the amount of patrons they wish to serve at one time. Because for the prices, the services did not match. If anything it gives ghetto and just trying to maximize profits I stead of delivering a pleasurable and pleasant dining experience. Honestly, I had every intention of brunching with alcohol, but when we got there and ordered a coffee, I totally forgot my intention. I was torn between three and four stars for this place because I wasn't overly impressed but also would revisit again. The coffee and food were pretty mid. Between the three of us, we shared Chilaquiles and French toast, which was a perfect amount of food and paid about $100 before tip. The service ultimately is what granted the four stars as both the waiter and the hostess/owner were pleasant. Came here 3 days ago for breakfast and to be honest the service is disappointing and I was watching the staff and they just stand around and walk past you while you wait for a long time either for a check or a refill on something, I had to get up and walk to the front desk to ask for a check after waiting more than 30min..the steak i got tasted as if it had no seasoning to it not even salt and pepper only thing I enjoyed was my hot chocolate with whip cream after all that I still tipped them $40 because I understand the work that goes into making these meals..ill give this place another try soon maybe I just went on an off day read more

The restaurant is located inside a Mr. tempo. There is a small concha banner on the side of the restaurant a little difficult to see but again it is located inside Mr. TEMPO. There is a small parking lot, you can pay for a valet, or if parking is available then it's free you just tip valet. Upon arriving, they give you menus and you pay before you sit down. You can seat yourself. They have a good selection on their menu with a decent variety and it also looks like they have a good size bar as well. I did not get to try their margaritas maybe next time. I ordered the chicken and waffle, the chicken is not a breast or thigh, they are chicken tenders with seasoning on top. They're pretty good chicken tenders I must say, and the waffle was good as well. Very thick. I like their syrup bottles. People come often to check on you and not always the same person which is nice. The overall environment here is very friendly and welcoming. Very family. They have lots of tables, chairs, high top tables, they have water available to get from a cute dispenser at the bar. The decor is cute and they have TVs for all the dads to watch their games. A very nice place with good breakfast options. Food was all tasteful and good. They start us off with some free Conchitas which I thought was nice. They are really delicious and seem to be home made. Service after all is great and servers are attentive. The ambience is ok for the size of the area. There were two things I didn't like... One thing I didn't like is the Chair noise. Every time a chair is moved you can hear it and it kind of becomes irritating. The second is the fact that they charge u before getting your food. I was surprised when they took my order and asked for a credit card to charge right after the order was given to the waitress. Overall I think this place has a good thing going on and should prosper with time if they continue the good service and delicious food. There were 2 other couples here and the parking lot was almost full so good luck trying to park inside. 2nd and the reason I will not be back is, you are forced to order and pay while standing at the counter quickly or you will hold up the line. They do this so they don't have to pay waitresses and waiters and if you don't like the food you're SOL. You never see the person that brought your food again, you're on your own. Today I visited My Concha Café, formerly known as Mr. Temple Cantina. It looks like they've transitioned from a cantina to a breakfast focused spot. I have mixed feelings about my visit. First, the customer service was excellent. The staff greeted me with a smile and were very attentive throughout my visit. That alone makes a big difference. I ordered a cafe Americano, and it was just right, great flavor,perfect temperature. A small but nice touch: they offer you a free concha when you arrive, which I really appreciated. For food, I ordered the chilaquiles with steak. Presentation was great, I really liked the way the dish looked. Unfortunately, the chilaquiles didn't quite hit the mark for me. Being Mr Tempo's chain of restaurants, I had high hopes for this dish, I try chilaquiles everywhere I go, and these were about a 7 out of 10. The tortillas used didn't have the right consistency (kind of dry) , and they appear to be bought packaged chips., and the salsa lacked any real kick. On the bright side, the side of beans was excellent, super flavorful and something I'd definitely eat again. The steak was also really perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The remodel looks great too. They've done a good job transforming the space, and it has a fresh, inviting feel. Final thoughts: while I probably won't come back when I'm craving chilaquiles, I haven't tried the rest of the menu yet, so I'm open to updating this review in the future. Today you get 4 stars because the chilaquiles fell short of my expectations, but everything else was great! I'm also happy to see the support from the community, restaurant is almost full on a Friday morning. read more

Parking was full but we were still able to find parking in the parking lot. There was no Valet. Service is good at the beginning. They are super friendly and very nice. I read reviews before going, and I did see a lot of yelper's mention that no one is checking on you after you sit down. This is true. There aren't any waiters, therefore after they brought out our food no one came back. Water is always a necessity at the table, I wish they had some kind of self-serve water station.
