I don't want to speak badly about this place because the employees were very kind and hardworking. I'm sharing details I wish I had known before making the 50 min drive. The pink concept is cute but really pay close attention to the pics. The place is run down and the seats are filthy. I felt the need to wash my hand each time I touched my seat (see pic). The AC was also an issue, it was 98° outside. Other reviewers mentioning AC problems so avoid coming on a warm day. The bathroom situation should be considered a health code violation. You have to walk through the kitchen into a tiny, unlit closet size space located next to the stoves and you're asked to use your phone flashlight. You also wash your hands in the kitchen's sink. They also don't serve alcohol, which was unexpected for a brunch spot. I didn't find the flavor of the food particularly special. It wasn't worth the price. read more

Dear Pink & Boujee, I wanted to share some feedback regarding my recent visit to your restaurant. Overall, the food was delicious and very impressive. We ordered a Mulita, a full breakfast with a pink pancake and bacon, a chilaquiles torta, pink AF nachos and two strawberry matcha drinks, totaling $80. The flavors, especially the chilaquiles salsa, were fantastic. However, there were a few issues with our experience: - Table Stability: We sat at the round table near the entrance, which was very wobbly and made it difficult to eat and hold out drinks so they won't spill. - Temperature: There was no air conditioning running despite the current heatwave (temperatures were around 85-90 degrees this morning). Leaving the front door open made the dining area increasingly hot and uncomfortable during our meal. - Service: The service felt very minimal, giving the impression that the staff may have been short-handed. Finally tried Pink & Boujee! My friend and I had a weekday off work and decided to stop by on a Thursday. The space is super cute, everything is pink, from the seating to the walls, and of course the food! We both ordered the pink trio tacos. I went with the asada and al pastor, while my friend chose chicken and asada. The asada flavor was a standout, better than the al pastor in my opinion. The salsa was another highlight, just the right level of spicy to elevate the tacos. What caught our attention is that the pink tortillas! The cashier mentioned they're made with natural ingredients. We were trying to visit Pink & Boujee last month for my daughter's birthday, but the restaurant had to close because that day it was raining and place flooded. So we didn't get to eat there. We went yesterday during spring break and it wasn't too busy. We got seated right away and our server was very friendly. I decided to get the horchata french toast, a carne asada sope, and a cafe de olla. My daughter had a carne asada taco, rice, and a horchata latte. The horchata french toast was delicious and the door was flavorful. The green salsa that it comes with is a bit on the spicier side compared to other green salsas I've had at restaurants. The cafe de olla was on the stronger side, so it wasn't my favorite. My daughter loved her taco, rice, and horchata latte. The restaurant is small and happy we went during the week when it wasn't busy. They don't have public restrooms, but they'll let you use their small bathroom if you ask. I love the whole pink aesthetic and definitely will come back to try more of their pink menu. read more

Pink & Boujee was on my list for a while and I finally got to try it out! I absolutely loved it. :) First of all, it's the cutest little brunch spot. They have such pretty pink decor everywhere. I liked that they have both inside and outside seating areas as well. The food was amazing. I ordered the pink chilaquiles and I ordered them with green sauce. They were flavorful and had just the right amount of spice. The chilaquiles were not soggy or too hard; they were perfect. They also had pink sour cream on top, which was delicious! The dish comes with eggs on the side which were also cooked well and had great taste. My other favorite was the heart-shaped boujee mulita. So good! We ordered ours with carne asada and it was so cheesy! The carne asada was juicy and tasty. For drinks, we ordered their jamaica, which tasted authentic. The jamaica came in these unique pouches with cute statements on them. I thought the prices were fair, especially for the experience and cuteness overload. A group of us runners decided to try this spot after the Boyle Heights 5k run/walk. It was a few blocks away from the race. It's a small place but we're lucky to get seated with a group of 7. I rarely take the time to write reviews, but I had to share the reality of this photoshoot café. The service wasn't the best. Upon arriving, I wrote my party into the waiting list where no one else was waiting before us. We had to wait 30 min for one of the 5 tiny table's to open up inside. When we finally got a table, my party of four was squished into the hottest corner of the establishment with the smallest/unstable table. Every review is true when they say it's incredibly hot in there. There's no AC and the front door stays open so you may get flies around your table. I ordered the pink chilaquiles with red salsa and my requests were met (I asked for no crema and eggs) I give kudos to that. On the side I additionally ordered rice and beans which were $4 EACH. When all of my food arrived, I was shocked at the size of the portions of rice and beans. It is not even a full scoop of either, they also were flavorless and cold. I'll say the chilaquiles were tasty and hot, definitely spicy. The sodas are canned sodas and the agua fresca's come in a plastic pouch that felt way too flimsy. Unfortunately, the only delicious item I enjoyed was the chilaquiles, they were crunchy & served hot (how I like to eat them).. But it's definitely not enough for me to return to this establishment.
