Walid! I'm in love with my hair again because of you!…read more Absolutely love my haircut! You did an incredible job with the shape, layers, and movement. The way you cut the front to frame my face is especially beautiful, it has so much volume and falls perfectly without looking over styled. It's polished, flattering, and still feels effortless. One of those cuts that makes you feel great the second you look in the mirror. I couldn't be happier. Over the moon, thank you for bringing me back to life. And I love that you love my natural color! Over the moon happy and because of you I feel like my old feel good self again. Hot damn! Blessed to have found you.

I've been testing out new salons since moving here with the hope of finding one I really like that…read morealso doesn't break the bank, and had high hopes for this one based on the reviews. I only ever do simple cuts, nothing fancy. My haircut, done by Anderson (a level 3 stylist), is objectively good. The skill was there. But it's definitely shorter than I wanted it. Went in for a lob, came out with an asymmetrical bob...Honestly I was panicking while he was drying it because it was starting to look like Lord Farquaad from Shrek. I asked if he could style it like in the reference pictures I showed (simple waves, to reduce Farquaad-ness). He tried to do it with the brush/dryer, which obviously wasn't working, and didn't want to use a flatiron. So I just suffered through scalding heat on my scalp and hair pulling. I got told I don't have curly hair. I got told I don't have frizzy hair. I, in fact, have both of those. Some other minor things: 1. When I got home I had some hair that was noticeably longer than the rest, like it never got cut. So...I had to do it. Just a few strands, but normally stylists check for that when your hair is dry. 2. I almost never use heat on my hair, so I asked for recs and mentioned a specific brand doesn't work for me. He immediately said he loves that brand. I said yeah...but it doesn't work for me. Anything else? "Any salon brand." Cool. Not helpful. 3. Asked for something at the end to tame the pieces that were sticking out (again, I have frizzy hair). He looked...confused? Smoothing as a last step has been standard at every other place I've been to. There is nothing in the whole salon like that? Also, my introvert-self just wants to go somewhere where I don't have to be engaged in conversation the whole time. Anyway. Won't go back, my hunt continues.

The only way this hack job could give me a "positive image" is if I wore a hat 24/7…read more Cecilia took to my hair like Edward Scissorhands, showered me with heavy hairspray... I'm asthmatic... and a quick 30 mins later I was sent on my way without being given a chance to view the cut in a mirror. There was no effort to remove all the spiky short hairs that covered my face, neck and clothes. I've felt like a dog with fleas all day.... And I'm mortified I have to leave home with this miserable attempt of a haircut. Honestly, how do hairdressers keep their licenses when they do work like this? I called the salon and expressed my tearful frustration, ask to have someone else to fix my hair or refund my money. Well, customer service isn't one of their long suits either. I'm a 74 year-old disabled woman who's just moved across country. The best that the salon could offer is for me to come in at 7:15 Saturday morning or wait until Monday, the day of my move. No, they can't refund the debit card I used to pay $100 ($75 haircut & $25 tip). If I want my money back, I have to drive back over to their salon and retrieve my refund. I have to pay a barber to fix my hair because salon no longer know how to cut hair. Instead, I will be filing a complaint with my bank.
