Jazmine's services are still worth it and I cannot imagine living without my lashes. 2020 was a rough year without her lashes, but I'm so glad she was able to keep the business open. She super courteous and flexible (within reason) about scheduling to accommodate her clients. She also genuinely cares about your natural lashes. She'll always tell me how my natural lashes are doing and deny service if they don't look healthy. Highly recommend her services whether it be for a wedding or for everyday wear like me.

She also takes care with her services, prepping you before and after, and in speaking with her, I can tell she is very knowledgeable about her industry, which assures me that I'm in good hands (though the positive results are of course telling). She also offers other services, such as microdermabrasion and others that justify the business name, but I have not received those. The prices for the hair removal services I receive are a bit expensive, but one of the reasons I initially sought out SCS is because the prices are generally competitive for the area (i.e., DC's more expensive, but more rural businesses may be cheaper). Skin Care Solutions is located in the same building as Jon David's Salon, and the front desk is operated by the salon. The front area is of course salon-y and has that haute couture ambiance, but I survive just fine wearing a t-shirt and jeans for my appointments. The people at the front desk are generally friendly and treat me as a valued client. Ultimately, I would definitely recommend Skin Care Solutions' hair removal services; I've had mostly satisfactory results with competitive prices, which I feel make for good value.

I came to this place for its great reviews. It is also suspicious when the price isn't posted on a website etc. Do they charge subjectively depending on the customer who comes in? I'd love to hear more about what prices others are paying at this studio. As a side note, the "bed" was very uncomfortable. It was not a bed. There was a thin layer of blanket/comforter for you to lay on the surface underneath was HARD. I had back pain after laying there for 2 hours. Mimi had the gall to text me and remind me it was time for a refill, checking in multiple times. I support small businesses but since coming here, I have been to 2 other small-business studios who are charging approx $150-200 for new clients / full set. The $350 I paid PLUS the $40 I paid in tip is criminal
