I've been coming to Lashes Look Studio for nearly 2 years now. These women are AMAZING at what they do. I see Angie for my lash extensions-- she maintains the integrity of my natural lashes while demonstrating outstanding proficiency in her craft. I've been getting lash extensions for a nearly a decade now and I'm in LOVE with my brown, cat-eye lashes-- yes, they offer varying shades/shapes/colors as well as glitter lashes for the holidays. I've also received a fantastic massage from a professional athlete that works at the studio, which was a service I didn't even know they offered. Their wide array of services doesn't stop there. They also offer brow services, permanent makeup and skin treatments. I received a BB Glow facial from Alla (the owner) and she took literal YEARS of damage/discoloration away after only one treatment. I'm already planning my next appointment. This place is definitely a one-stop shop for all of your beauty needs, and each girl specializes in her area of expertise. I stumbled on this place back in 2022 when looking for a new place to get my lashes done and this was right in my neighborhood! Life happens, so I haven't returned until today and it was everything I remembered and more. The salon is clean and bright, with snacks, water, and coffee in the waiting area, should you need them. I've been to a few different salons in the Northern VA area and this is the best, hands down! Svitlana was wonderful - she was so nice and made sure that I was comfortable (including covering me with a blanket bc it was a little cold in the room) before getting started on my lash lift and brow lamination. Once she got started, she created such a calming experience that I completely relaxed and even drifted off to sleep a couple times, lol! I was pleasantly surprised when I called around 4 pm and was able to make a last minute, same day appointment (5:20 pm) and was accommodated. Thunderstorms and heavy rains contributed to me arriving late. However, I was professionally greeted and whisked away to my clean and prepped room. I was gently pampered as I laid down for my service and the music added to my soothing experience. After dozing off a few times, Viola! My lashes look natural and they are amazingly beautiful. I went to this place for a facial. After many years searching for a good spot to do my facials, I finally found one! Alla is a wonderful specialist that took a great care of me! I visited Lashes Look for the first time today after reading the positive reviews and was very disappointed. I had booked a lash lift and tint and got anything but. Not only did it take almost 90 mins (compared to the 45 on the website) but my lashes look almost exactly the same as they did when I walked in. The treatment had to be reapplied more than once (maybe it didn't take?) and when I left my eyelids were sticky and had black stuff stuck on them? Definitely a bit waste of time and money. read more

My recommendation is to Avoid This Shop At all costs!! I had an 11 am appointment that was pushed back to 11:30 because Alla was running late. I arrived on time and waited another 25 minutes for her to arrive. Prior to starting, I explained that I wanted my lashes to be long enough to cover my hooded eyes. I've been wearing eyelash extensions for 6 years in Seattle and recently relocated here, this was my first set here. Trying to find a place with a good ratings and a large number of reviews was very difficult .This shop only shows 18 reviews ( though Alla tells me she's been doing this since 2012,) with a 5-star review., so I tried it. Once Alla completed my lashes and showed them to me, there was pulling due to adjacent lashes being stuck in the glue to an adjacent lash. The lashes were so short they were not that much longer than mine and I told her it looked like eyeliner rather than lashes. Then she explained that as a policy they will not put extensions on your lashes that are longer than 2mm Longer than yours. She didn't tell me prior to doing the work and she charges $225 for a new set. I had 4 painful spots in the eyelashes that she put on that last 2 weeks. There were numerous clumps of glue poking me in the eyes. This was the worst eyelash extensions I've ever experienced. I looked through all of their photos on their website Ann there are numerous photos of eyelashes that are the length I wanted in my eyes. So, if their policy is not to add lashes longer than 2mm longer than your lashes these pictures can't be of actual clients, only the small lashes pictures. When I needed a fill, I had to search again and take a chance at another place. I went to an amazing shop in Fairfax and I ended up loving their work. However they insisted that the previous lashes had to be removed and a new set put on. They informed me that there was glue sticking my eyelids together near my lash line and the glue clumps were dangerous near my eyes. They didn't want the responsibility of the previous job. I tried to be nice and just give a one star rating without explanation but they kept reaching out to me about the rating They offered to redo the work to make it right but I explained I was not interested in coming back for more of that shoddy work. I asked for a refund, and instead of being concerned about what happened to me or being concerned with customer service, this is what Alla said to me: Hello Rebbeca! This is Alla from lashes look studio . We don't offer refunds on the work that was not done poorly . I am international judge for Eyelash extension championship as well as VA licensed esthetician, I have been doing eyelash extensions since 2012 , I have never ever experienced a client to have pain or discomfort in a past years . I am not sure that the person who did your lashes - was qualified enough to actually judge my work , or had a normal work etiquette. I am always responsible for the health of my clients lashes , and I did explain in the very beginning that we will be fixing lashes that are 2 mm longer then your natural ones . I did them even longer , according to your wish. After all, I would like to say that we offered you to fix anything you don't like - we have 5 more estheticians working at the studio . The worst response ever! Alla is basically telling me I don't know how my own eyes felt. She doesn't apologize or try to assist me. She is only concerned with telling me how good she is and that she's never had a complaint before. If that's true, why are there only 18 reviews for her shop after so many years. I think she either deleted them or restarts her reviews page to reset the bad reviews. Do yourself a favor look elsewhere for the sake of your eyes!! read more

Used both Irina and Svitlana and I'm super happy with them. Compared to other lash studios, my lashes look good and full still into week 3-4. It thins out but keeps its shape instead of looking like a hot mess and super sparse with gaps. I have been to many eyelash tech and they apply it to your skin which is not the correct way.Putting the lash on your natural lash is the proper way for eyelash extensions.
