For a Brazilian appointment I'm always out in about 30 minutes. The service is neat and as comfortable as can be and I like coming to BareSkin because I have limited discomfort during my waxing. The products and techniques the staff employs is phenomenal and they truly care about skincare maintenance in between appointments. I've seen them boost confidence of a cancer patient who recently lost most of her hair. The place is wheelchair accessible. At that time, there was only one person ahead of me. However, by the time she acknowledged me, two additional customers had already come in--one to check in and one to check out--so I was pushed further back before being helped. When Patti finally checked me in, she asked if one of my services was more important than the others. I explained that all of them were important and that I wanted to proceed as scheduled. She then told me I wouldn't be able to receive all of my services because Emani was unavailable and had another appointment. I told her I was already there but could adjust to the next available time, so we moved the appointment to 10:30. At 10:07, I called to let them know I was nearby at Panera Bread and could come earlier if Emani became available--that they could simply call me. I never received a call. When I returned, it was clear that Emani did not have another appointment, as no other clients went to the back or were greeted by her. While I did receive some form of compensation after addressing the issue, I still felt I was treated differently. Patti did not offer me a wax pass or a follow-up appointment with Emani after my service, even though I witnessed her doing so with another client. She simply took my payment and tip. Overall, today's experience fell short of the customer service I'm accustomed to at this location.

I apparently attempted to try this business some time ago, thus I receive text alert coupons. I usually only wax in warmer months, pre-vacay, or prior to my annual girls trip. Im still not a real fan due to my horrible grow back struggles with ingrown hairs. Then after a positive experience elsewhere and my friend saying "waxing with consistency" will decrease ingrowns and your hair becomes softer, finer and takes longer to grow back each time. For this reason, I have attempted to continue on a schedule. I tried to book with Ms. Annie's a few times online. My account wouldn't work, so I called to get some assistance on this day. The young lady on the phone was in a rush. I wanted her to help get my online account working properly so I would have the ability to select any available appointments slots posted, service provider, and have option to cancel/ reschedule within limits posted. Instead of helping to get my online account working, she simply booked the appointment. I called back in less than 15 minutes to request a change. She said, I'll make the change, but you'll have a $50 fee whenever you reschedule. I was mortified! That wasn't really smart. The only thing it did was solidify that I definitely will never book at this business!!! Poor customer service and vibes!! Also the online scheduling system didn't work well at all!
