The ramen was incredibly flavorful--rich, comforting, and exactly what you want. Everything tasted fresh and well thought out. I also ordered a draft root beer which was honestly so good and a fun change from the usual. We came with kids and they made the experience extra special. The kids got to pick out a Pokémon card at the bar (huge win), and our waitress went above and beyond--she was so warm and attentive. She even brought the kids Pocky for dessert, which was such a sweet touch. We also ordered the fried chicken--$8 for a huge portion, which is an amazing deal. The dipping sauce was delicious. Personally, I'd prefer the pieces to be a bit smaller, but that's just a minor preference, As well as a real utensils would be nice over plastic. Overall, such a great experience with amazing food, kind service, and thoughtful details. We will definitely be back!

The atmosphere was lively given its shared space within a brewery. The kiosk ordering system was fairly straightforward. The ramen does already include half an egg so only add an additional if you want 1.5 eggs! They also text you once your order is ready. The ramen itself was delicious- the miso bold was rich and flavorful, and not too spicy. The spice really comes through at the end when just the broth remains. My husband enjoyed the classic shoyu ramen and chicken kaarage, although we weren't able to finish the chicken kaarage because the ramen was just so filling. This is going to be my go-to ramen spot in Fremont/Wallingford.

Yes, but only when emotionally prepared to wait and physically prepared to eat like a linebacker FOO(D)RINK: 4.5/5 - Overall: If you are in the mood for Detroit-style pizza, this is a mostly hard yes. Not a casual yes but not a "cancel your other plans" yes. - Chicago pizza: came with 6 slices for 2 people. Tapped out at 4.5 and entered a mild food coma so we went for a walk afterwards. I was starving going in (like thinking-about-food-for-2-hours starving) and still got humbled. This pizza is THICCKK. Chicago with green pepper = elite decision, an unexpected vegetable moment that felt almost...responsible. Mid-slice meh. Corner slice = main character energy, crispy edges, structurally superior, spiritually fulfilling. - The "green on green on green" salad surprisingly huge portion - chips and dip: literally chips. lots of chips. dip was fine. idk if i would order again. VIB(E)XPERIENCE: 4/5 - Design: Casual, lots of wood, indoor and outdoor seating, slightly "we care but not too much" aesthetic. Bonus: saw a dog outside - Staff: Friendly, t-shirt casual, zero pretense. exactly the energy you want when being served brick-sized pizza slices. - Noise level: Medium. Seinfeld playing in the background which somehow became the main character. Music? Unclear. Don't remember. - Wait time for foo(d)rink arrival: less than 15 minutes - Wait time for our check: staff and i immediately made eye contact. You pay at the front where everyone is also waiting, so less "wait time" but I felt squished due to limited space

I didn't like their online ordering system since I tried ordering a pizza and the next possible pick up was on Tuesday (it was a Friday). So not sure if they don't do same day ordering or not, and there's no phone number so we couldnt call. We ended up ordering at the restaurant and had to wait 40 minutes... The pizza was pretty good. I had the same feedback where if you eat it right away, everything would just come off the pizza, and makes a big mess. If you wait for it to cool down, it was better. We even saved a couple of slices to eat as cold pizza the next day and it was probably one of the better cold pizza we had in a really long time. The corner crust was good and soft and crispy, but the middle ones were soggy and moist from all of the toppings. Pepperoni was a little salty for me but it was good with the olives. Overall, good pizza place

The a la carte price here is a tad over three dollars per taco. The ingredients here are good, and the 'fixins' that are provided are excellent. Why just 'ok' for a review? Well, I took what was handed to me and pretty much attacked it immediately, yet the tortillas used simply could not hold up one bit and both tacos feel completely apart into a goulash of food on the plate. I didn't have any utensils so I had to eat everything by pretending it was Ethiopian food and meant to be scooped up with fingers. Alas, I was in business suit so this was not optimal. Was the food good? It was better than okay, but not great, definitely not wow. The meet needed more flavor, and in fact the entire experience was more bland than memorable. It's definitely acceptable food truck fare, but maybe you will find it better served in a bowl and with a fork than eaten as tacos.

This is THE spot to come before Mariners games or nearby concerts and nobody can convince me otherwise. I've tried them several times in the past and now have my dad hooked as well. Their signature Caribbean Roast sandwich is absolutely phenomenal and I have the hardest time ordering anything else when I'm here. I have tried the nachos version of it before as well, and that's equally delicious. The key is definitely that succulent roasted pork. I will say that the sandwich version is MESSY so don't wear white, and also just be mindful if you have plans after. This year, my dad decided to order a pre-seasoned and smoked turkey from Paseo and my GODDD it was good! We made a gravy from the drippings as well which turned out so good too. We also get their street corn that was said to serve 4-6 but it was generous and we had leftovers. Absolutely a MUST try, 10/10 no notes. There's a reason they have received so much love over the years - no questions, no notes, JUST GO TRY THEM PLEASE.

The indoor space is really cute, but I was confused as to why everything was blocked off and restricted to takeout only. I ordered the famous Caribbean Roast sandwich and a side of rice and beans, which came to a little less than $30. While it's a good sandwich, it felt a bit heavy; I really found myself looking for more acid to cut through the fat and grease. I'm glad I was sharing with Jenny because it's quite a lot for one person. I also noticed toward the end that the bread was burnt. Overall, it's a solid sandwich, but between the stomach issues and the char, I'm not sure I'd go back.

got the #3 sampler here, which included 1 quesabirria taco, 1 regular birria taco, and 1 mulita…read more This was my first time trying birria tacos, so I was pretty excited to try these out I thought these were pretty fantastic Out of the three, I thought the weakest one was the regular birria one. This one was pretty much just a regular soft taco with beef inside. I wasn't a huge fan of the taco shell, as it was a little soft. In terms of the filling, I did really like the amount of beef in there, but I thought it was kind of dry and chewy. The beef being like this was something I noticed in all 3 tacos - but it was the most noticeable in this one I really liked the quesabirria taco - that extra layer of cheese did so much for the flavor. For one, it provided another layer between the taco shell and the cheese, and second, the cheese itself was really good and there was a lot of it. Because of this, the beef inside just tasted better than the regular birria - and the shell on the outside didn't feel as soft as the first one. My favorite of the three was the mulita, which came as two small tortillas with the filling inside. the reason I liked this the most was because it was the crispiest of the three - there were actual crunchy parts to this tortilla that weren't there in the other ones. This one also had cheese like the birria, but due to the slight advantage in crunchiness it's my favorite Of course, what really brings this entire meal together is the consommé. This is just absolutely fantastic - and is the best part of the meal by far. The broth is salty, flavorful, and just adds so much to everything it coats. When dipping one of the tacos in it, I would let the consommé wash over the beef that remains, essentially liquidifying it, and this made the beef so much juicier and changed it from dry to flowing with the juices of the broth. It's hard to describe how much this enhanced the two tacos and the mulita. There's also a pretty generous amount of it Another thing I have to mention is the spicy salsa - which was incredibly flavorful. really loved that The only thing I would really say as a negative (other than the beef that I mentioned before) is that these tacos/mulita really aren't crunchy at all. I wish the tortillas would've been fried more to really get that crispiness that I prefer in tacos - an oil coating on the outside would've also helped. I also usually don't mention this in my reviews, but the person at the front desk was amazing! For the price of about 15 dollars, I would say this is relatively decent - however, while the portion size looks big, it's not really that filling

When we arrived, there were a few tables occupied, and we were invited to seat ourselves. We chose a cozy booth near the kitchen. One thing to note: there are no physical menus; instead, you order and pay using QR codes at the table. We started with the aloo pies and, of course, couldn't pass up the jerk chicken. Everything arrived at once rather than in courses, but it didn't take away from the experience. Every dish was packed with flavor. The aloo pies had a taste reminiscent of samosas :: crispy on the outside with a warmly spiced filling :: and were served with a tangy chutney that complemented them perfectly. The jerk chicken was the standout. Tender, juicy, and beautifully seasoned with warm, balanced spices :: it was easily the highlight of the meal. It came with rice and peas (beans), which were some of the best we've had, along with a simple green salad that surprised us with its freshness and bright citrus vinaigrette. We also had the pleasure of chatting with Pam, who was just as warm and welcoming as the food she prepares. She mentioned that they often have live music on weekends, which sounds like a great reason to return. I also noticed they offer an all-you-can-eat buffet on Wednesdays, and after this experience, I'm especially excited to come back and try more of the menu. If everything else is as good as what we had, we're already sold. Oh! I almost forgot :: my husband ordered a wonderful drink, the Trinidad Smash. One sip transported us to vacation mode, instantly! So good!
