I met Nelson through Yelp years ago when I needed one of my properties completely remodeled. Since the moment we met, he and his employees have always provided OUTSTANDING service and workmanship, with the highest moral compass toward my properties, my family and myself. Due to the excellent work provided on the original property, I have hired him numerous times since to do other small jobs and one other complete kitchen and bathroom remodel to a separate property. No surprises were had when all of the work that was completed was to the absolute highest quality. Nelson Moreno is one of the hardest working and most genuine people I know; not only this, he is honest, trustworthy, caring and just simply a good human. This is an overdue review, but i wanted to wait at least 6 months to write out a full review!…read more It was my first time renovating anything. I wanted to redo the inside of my entire house (yes, EVERY inch) and didn't know who to work with. I was given quotes that were 3-4x my budget and had a contractor pull out of the project 2 weeks before my scheduled demolition. I got super discouraged until i found Frame Build & Design. They were able to work with what I had and made my experience very enjoyable. They provided me a rendering of what the inside of my house would theoretically look like, and I can confidently say that it looks pretty darn close to the pictures! I'm so pleased with how all my cabinets & fixtures turned out. I appreciate Idan for answering all my questions and dealing with my complaints. He was patient with me and would send a guy over to fix or add things that I wanted (like outlets on the ceiling for my speakers, patching holes, etc). He went above and beyond to get permits for renovating, be there for city inspections, and keeping me posted on progress. I will say however that if you are planning to hire this team, you will need to be hands on. This means being involved in EVERY decision! I had to pick out all my materials on my own to match the rendering provided in the beginning. FB&D provided some locations I could check out, but it required a lot of research on my end. It felt overwhelming as a first time home owner, but this is pretty normal from what I understand. FB&D had an interior designer on this project and she was a HUGE help in decision making. There's no perfect contractor. Yes there were some communication issues and yes there were some imperfections. Yes it took 2x my timeline. What renovation doesn't? But ultimately the FB&D team were very accommodating with my feedback and gave me my DREAM home. And I can say 7 months into living here, everything is still holding up great and nothing has broken! I highly recommend hiring them for your next project! They did a great job. I ultimately went over budget but that's totally expected (and totally on me)! Thank you Frame Build & Design!

He took care of all the back and forth so that my focus could be on other aspects of the project. I had walls knocked down, a window put in, and new walls built. I added some aesthetic upgrades, which he took care of quickly. Daniel always responded quickly anytime I reached out to him. I was never stressed about the project, and he made sure to stop by regularly to look at the work that was done. He even noticed things that I hadn't and made sure the crew came back to correct them. We cannot say enough good things about Ray and his team. What started as a big project turned into…read moresomething truly life-changing for our family. Our son uses a wheelchair, and before this renovation our home was honestly very difficult for him to navigate. We relied on temporary ramps and awkward workarounds just to get him in and out of the house. We wanted to make our home fully accessible, but we were worried it would end up looking institutional or awkward. Ray completely exceeded our expectations. He redesigned and rebuilt all of the concrete in both our front and backyard as well as the driveway, raising and adjusting the grades so everything is ADA compliant with smooth ramps and proper transitions. He also added new walkways that didn't exist before, making it possible for our son to easily access every door of our home. The most incredible part is that Ray managed to make everything functional without sacrificing the beauty or charm of our home. The ramps blend so naturally into the design that they honestly just look like part of a beautifully planned landscape. Instead of looking medical or industrial, the house actually looks even better than it did before. The project also included removing several very large trees, re-landscaping, and completely repainting the exterior of our home, which tied everything together perfectly. Ray was professional, communicative, and incredibly thoughtful throughout the entire process. His crew was friendly, respectful, hardworking, and efficient, and they kept everything very clean while working on such a large project. Most importantly, our son can now move around our home independently and comfortably. That alone means everything to our family. We are beyond grateful and highly recommend Ray to anyone looking for quality work, creative design, and a contractor who truly cares about the people he's helping.

It was my first experience with a kitchen remodel and David proved to be patient and kind, never making me feel like my questions were silly or naive. He responded to all of my texts promptly and delivered on every one of my requests. The craftsmen employed by Horizon were professional and skilled. David and everyone I met in the showroom were knowledgeable and friendly. They listened to me, made a real effort to understand my aesthetic, and then made great suggestions. The entire process from beginning to end (3 months to the day) went just about as smooth as one could hope for such a large project. Partway through, we realized we also needed a good chunk of interior work done before we could move in -- and Rapha and his team saved us and got the whole thing done in time, so our cross-country move didn't slip a single day. Doing all of this remote was nerve-wracking. Rapha kept us completely in the loop, sent updates, and never once made us chase him down. Trusting a contractor with your house sight-unseen from 3,000 miles away is a lot to ask, and he made it feel easy.
