While taking my order, another women came up and they started looking at an iPad about a SkipTheDishes order. I had to wait for them to finish to keep ordering. They where supposed to put guacamole on my 1 salad, and they charged me for it, plus a random 50 cent charge for banana peppers I never ordered. Like what ? Ok fine. I told them about the 50 cent charge and she just replied "yes". I'm like, why am I being charged for banana peppers I didn't order, again she just says "yes". Frustrated I say ok whatever. No point to argue over a few cents. Go outside, I see not only did they not even put in the banana peppers they charged me for; but, the guacamole I paid $3 for was not in the salad either. So now I've paid $3.50 for things I didn't receive . Pretty irritating ! Open my other salad and they forgot to put tomatoes on it. I go back to the store and ask them, hey, you guys charged me for this and forgot to put it on. She replies "yes, guac is extra" like, I know. I've paid for it but didn't get it. They argued with me for about 5 minutes before handing me a tiny container of guacamole. To top it all off, after arguing, paying nearly $30 for 2 salads, I finally get to eat, and there's a fly in my lettuce. Seriously, I don't understand what happened here today. I was charged for several things I didn't receive, then had to argue to get what I paid for, then I found a fly in my lettuce . I used to come here pretty often but that's going to change. I suggest everybody stay far away- go somewhere else. The chopped leaf down town or the one In Port Coquitlam are MUCH better. You actually get what you pay for without being argued with. Pretty disgusted with my experience here today.

They definitely don't cheap out on the aburi, as they torch the seafood on all sides on a plate before loading it into the tortilla. Pretty filling too, as I could only finish half of it for lunch. I think it comes in chicken as well. It does get quite messy, and the sauce dries and sticks to the outer packaging wrap, so I'd recommend eating it right away to fully enjoy it. Small Bowl (Custom): Nothing inherently unique or special about the topping offerings, but it is super fresh with pretty good portions for the poke bowls. --- I went back to try their VIP Lobster Bowl ($24.99): It has a very flavourful and rich seafood broth. It comes with two jumbo prawns, and a lot (at least 10-15) small shrimp. I think the shrimp was also seared, as there are some faint char marks and tasted extra smoky and delicious. The soup looks pretty red, but it really isn't that spicy - I had it regular spicy (which is shown in the pictures), but I believe you can ask for a spicier version as well. Ramen noodle portions were good, and the texture was a good firmness - I had it dine-in. If you're not a huge fan of lobster and/or don't want to pay extra for it, they have a Spicy Ramen which is basically the same thing without the lobster tail. I'd highly recommend this.

None of us could handle spice well (yes we're weak I know hehe) so we were definitely feeling a little worried. The worries then turned to the burning sensation in our mouths as we took the first few bites. The fish had a nice flame seared taste and it looked like to be a pretty generous portion. It was just too bad because we couldn't eat or finish our food. A bit sad. Hopefully they'll be able to provide more accurate or detailed descriptions and pictures of their items in the future! I was surprised to learn that the café has been operating for somewhere between 16 and 19 years. The panini I ordered was delicious, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The owner told me that he even makes his own mayonnaise and prepares everything from scratch whenever possible. You can taste the care that goes into the food. This is the kind of small, independently owned café that is well worth supporting.

It was a late afternoon/evening event. The venue said absolutely and reserved the entire patio for our group. The patio was equipped with outdoor heaters making the space warm. The view from patio is amazing. Our Wedding guests were able to order their choice of meals off of the menu and my husband and I paid the bill. All of the guests were extremely happy with their meals and we were happy with the bill. The staff were great.... Very accommodating. As well..... Management surprised us with a magician that they had hired on their own dime. That was such a fun surprise and the magician kept the children entertained. All and all it was a wonderful evening ... happy memories were made. We highly recommend the Notorious Grey Fox.

The view was wonderful and the large area was kept warm by several patio heaters and a fire pit. We can't say enough good things about the venue and the management team. The venue knew children would be attending the event and to our surprise and to the kids delight.....Notorious Grey Fox management hired a magician to keep the children occupied during the evening and didn't charge us for it. Overall it was a wonderful experience....the Bride, Groom and all of the guests had a great time.
