Worth 5 stars for the view alone... has a terrace viewpoint with gorgeous, expansive view.. adjacent grassy field and sandy lot for those that want to eat outdoors.. some food very good and some just ok.. we ordered 3 pizzas, a salad and a pretzel between 3 people and had some leftovers.. the prosciutto asparagus pizza, caprese salad were very good but tasted verrrrry similar to each other.. same balsamic vinaigrette, same arugula.. I wouldn't bother ordering both, for sake of variety.. the soft, warm and buttery pretzel was also yummy.. jalapeño bacon and Margherita pizzas were both just ok.. all the pizzas had little mozzarella and salty/dry from ?cheddar.. self serve tap water from a keg available in front of the counter .. service was ok

Long line which never abates. Expect 1-2 hours wait.

Beautiful view of the Strait of Georgia and burrard inlet and Vancouver up here. My friend suggested coming here for pizza because of the picturesque vista. We came here around 4pm on Sunday and the place was very busy. Apparently this is very normal on weekends, slightly better on weekdays. It is a popular spot for cyclists, hikers and people who want to be up in the mountains. This is the only eatery at this pop up Cypress Village. The main menu is pizza with some baked goods. It also sells alcohol besides non alcoholic beverages. The line was constantly long when we were here. Besides the wait in line, it was another hour before we got our pizzas. Not sure why it took so long for ours when we saw others who ordered after us had a shorter wait of maybe 30-40 mins. The oven could bake 8 pizzas at a time. Frankly if it wasn't because we had another friend who was here visiting, I would have gone somewhere else. The pizzas were delicious but nothing special. You could get similar great tasting pizzas elsewhere without waiting for over an hour. There were long tables for sharing and it was packed too. Some had their pizzas out at the lawn or picnic tables outside. If you come prepared with picnic mats and some shades, it is a nice place. The view is really spectacular and is a great place to hang out. Just not at the dining hall, hogging table space when you see the long line of people just waiting for it. I would come here just for the view and only order food if it is not very busy. I don't think it's worth an hour wait for food after ordering and they do not tell you the estimated wait time. So make your own judgement. It is also a popular spot for weddings and engagement and proposals. We saw a wedding party (tables and a section cordoned off) and a different party where a proposal took place closer to sunset.

Some told me this was the best pizza I'll ever have in my life. I'm not sure I can unequivocally make that statement, but I can agree they are not far off. If you're ever heading up to Cypress, this place is definitely a must stop. They have a good selection of standard and unique pizzas. Pizzas are made in a wood fired oven. The views here are breathtaking. Oh and they also serve beer and wine! We got the truffle mushroom pizza and it was a hit! There is a nice grass lawn you can sit at if you bring a blanket to sit on. There is no shade though. Seats can be tough to find, esp inside in the shade on a sunny day.

While the pizza was good, it took longer than expected to arrive. If you're planning to visit, especially on a weekend, be prepared to wait if you order pizza. Additionally, there was a mix-up with our order, and we ended up receiving the wrong pizza flavor. Nevertheless, my favourite was the prosciutto asparagus. That's the one I would reorder out of the three we got. Overall, it's a decent stopover for a meal in the area.

After an evening stroll along the Trestle Bridge in West Vancouver, we decided to head to The Shed at Cypress Pop-Up Village for some pizza. We ordered a couple of hot chocolates and all three of us shared a Margherita Pizza.  Hot Chocolate: Could have been a bit more chocolatey. Margherita Pizza: Munchkin and I had been here once before and had this same pizza. We loved it the first time, and we loved it this second time. My husband however, tends to be off and on when it comes to foods that are made with a lot of cheese. Something about the cheese on this pizza disagreed with him. On our previous visit back in August, we had seen a round black cover over the centre of our table and I had thought at the time that perhaps it might be a firepit for roasting marshmallows during winter. This table had been relocated to another corner of The Shed and when I inquired about it, I learned that it was indeed a firepit; however, it was just there to provide warmth. No marshmallow roasting there. Maybe after reading this though, the management at The Shed might consider offering marshmallow roasting?!  The views up here are stunning. If you havn't made it out here already, then I highly recommend that you put it on your "to do" list! Love this spot. It's not only a great view but it's set up well so you can enjoy the space over good pizzas and beer, with food company. What could be better than that?

A nice stop (with a view!) before heading up the mountain. My bf ordered a black coffee & I got the london fog with soy milk (they also have almond & oat milk alts). The inside is cozy with heat lamps & fire pit. Walk outside and you'll see a great view of Vancouver. Lovely to pass some time sipping on hot drinks and gazing out at the scenery.

This place is amazing! What a stunning view of Vancouver and the Fraser River. A lot of cyclists use this Cypress Lookout Point 2 as a starting point. Although it's challenging as it is a steep climb to the top. This is by no means a starting point for beginner riders. But for those looking for a great view, this is the place to see. They serve wine and pizza. Breakfast is limited. I ordered a ham and cheese croissant and coffee. It's a little too crispy or overcooked. Breakfast options is limited. Only whole pizza is available, no slices. The tables are great! All wood and some wine barrel tables. They have patio heaters which is great because it can get nippy up there. Bring a sweater, just in case. The manager is really friendly. Music is very relaxing. It made me want to listen to Spanish music afterwards in my car on my drive home. This place has room for improvement. More food selections would be nice. Pair that with a stunning view, especially during sunset, it will be a place to frequent.

Yeah man this place...it's just fantastic. You can't beat the view from The Shed's deck, which overlooks all of downtown Vancouver and the harbor. Nor can you easily beat the pizzas. Get a couple, wash it down with some local beer and enjoy the fact that The Shed affords you once of the most serene experiences in all of Vancouver.

Stepping into others' imprinted snow footsteps trying not to slip and fall onto the newly fallen snow, we made it into Cafe Crema in West Vancouver. The first thing with this place that gets you is the vibe. Mood lighting, lovely high tables and plenty of space. You can sit there, and daydreaming in this place is highly encouraged preferably with a glass of bold red and a slice of Margherita Pizza. I didn't really know what I wanted, which rarely happens, but this was one of those special occasions where you just let spontaneity take over. I was going to just have a coffee, but as I approached the register area to order my Americano, I kept seeing this glimmer in the corner of my eye. It was quite bright, but just a glimmer, so I looked over and it was just this muffin sitting there in the display. I asked the cashier what muffin that was, and I was told that it was the Vegan Banana Chocolate Muffin. "Vegan?" I asked. He said, "Yup." I almost walked away trying to find something else, but the damn thing looked so good. So, reluctantly I decided to try a Vegan Muffin. I said to myself, "well, what's the worst that could happen? I'll just throw it out if I don't like it." That winking-luring Vegan muffin was so good that it actually trumped many of the dairy based muffins I've had in the past. I'll tell you how and why. First, it was rich, creamy, dense, moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. You could taste the Cocoa and hint of Banana and nuts throughout. As much as all the ingredients together gave the muffin its wonderful taste, you could also taste each component individually. I don't have a sweet tooth at all, and it's rare to find me ordering desert or eating muffins. I ate this damn thing like I just discovered the taste of sweet for the first time. Between this awesome Vegan muffin, the great Americano and this cozy little lamp on the table and the beautiful glowing white snow on Bellevue Drive, this indeed was a memorable experience and a one time love affair with a Vegan Muffin. (No, I hadn't smoked anything that day.)

This time I ordered a traditional version that comes with a crown and a small ceramic piece (known as a fève) hidden inside the pastry. I ordered this one from Le Pont Patisserie. This shop is known more for their eclairs but they carry a good number of other beautiful and tempting pastries. There was a choice of 5, 6, or 7 inches for the Galette des Rois at Le Pont Patisserie. I ordered the 6 inch for $35 and it was just right for us as we were a small group of people. Wow! Such flakiness! Super impressed with how flaky this Galette des Rois was, and the frangipane filling was heavenly. While it was an excellent Galette des Rois, I do have to admit that I think it is very much overpriced for the size that they offer. Grandma found the fève and was crowned Queen that night! They serve ice cream at Savary Island Pie Company? Yup. They do now. I don't know when they started selling ice cream at this place but my bro was in the know and...well how could I turn down an opportunity for ice cream? Of course I would make room for it! When we got to the shop I was a bit confused with the setup cuz I recalled there being tables where people could sit down to eat. A bit of investigating cleared up my confusion. The space that I remembered, with tables and chairs was still around; it was just next door. It seems the Savary Island Pie Company expanded their space, and so the new space is the part that is now operating as an ice cream parlour. The guy working there was kind enough to let us sample some flavors before purchasing. After trying Apple Pie Salted Caramel and Dulce de Leche I decided to get Dulce de Leche in a cup. This is one of my favourite flavors to get when we buy Haagen Dazs ice cream. Kind of a family favourite I guess cuz a couple of other people in the family also ended up ordering Dulce de Leche! It's old fashioned style creamy ice cream. They do also have a few vegan flavors too though. What a treat! Ummm...I really should come back though to have some of their pie sometime since they are after all, supposed to be known for their pie and not their ice cream!
