    Duck confit
    Paula N.

My friend and I strolled in at around 23:00 on a Tuesday and we were immediately greeted with a smile. We were seated immediately and quickly ordered with our amazingly friendly waiter. We shared a steak frites and duck confit which were both DELICIOUS. The duck was perfectly seasoned and the potatoes were lovely. The steak could use a dash of salt but overall was tasty and perfectly cooked. We happened to make eyes with the chef to acknowledge how yummy our food was, and they brought out extra potatoes for us for free! We wrapped up our meal with espresso martinis and a crème brûlée which was phenomenal. I'd absolutely recommend this diner-esq restaurant!

Had a nice meal here. Although the service was a little slow, our waiter was very kind and made a nice wine recommendation. Was not the most stand-out restaurant we went to in Paris, but still quite delicious!

Food was good, pasta definitely looked a bit better than it was, but still good. The escargot was also good. The service was great and our server was very friendly. There was indoor and outdoor seating in the restaurant.

Amazing service - kind and helpful. Great food and drinks. French onion soup is to die for, and everything else was wonderful as well - fish and chips, salmon, croque madame, croque monsieur, duck, cheeseburger (this is what our child had). Highly recommend!

Food was ok, but not the best. Ordered entrecote, duck confit, onion soup, escargot, creme brulee. Entrecote steak was not too tender. Onion soup had too much bread in it. Escargot was good. Creme brulee was good. Duck confit was ok. Ambiance is nice. Resto was full. Our main course took long to be served.

The best service in Paris was at this establishment. The server Alian was superb . He was so helpful , funny, and a great host to us from start to finish. Our meals were delicious and experiencing French food here was the best experience ever! I highly recommend this cute restaurant! I chose the 3 course meal & I must say the food portions were large and the price point was great ! I started off with their onion soup & I will probably never have French onion soup in America ever again! It was out of this world! My my my the soup was everything I would imagine it would be in Paris! For my main course I tried duck confit for the first time and it was so delicious and flavorful . It wasn't gamey at all or tough. The meat fell off the bone and had a nice crispy outer skin layer. It was paired with roasted potatoes with the right amount of seasoning. Dessert was crème brûlée and omg I've never had crème brûlée taste this phenomenal before .The top layer was this thin crispy layer of perfection that broke into the crème as you dug your spoon in for more ! I don't recall ever loving all of the full 3 course meal the way I did here ! I can't wait to come back to Paris and dine here again ! Dinner was perfect and the staff was so pleasant and friendly ! This establishment will always be a place I'll forever remember !!!

Ok, Americans, do you want to try something special? Well, you just found it. My wife and I are working here for a month and found this jem eating here. The people eating here are young, with some of us older folks mixed in. The atmosphere is very nice and the food... You got to start off with the French Onion soap. Wow, not over power of onion and the broth not over salty. Please ask for the specials so far all have been very good in tast presentation. Please be aware that if you do like your meat medium or higher, you should tell the owner how you want the steak or hamburger cooked speaking about there Hamburger really good not fatty at all and still juicy try there blue cheese burger or jut the plain cheese. Do not forget the Dessert, we have had 4 different ones and each one has not failed in taste and topping off your meal. When we are back again from the US we will definitely come back to this place. Thanks for making our stay fun.

    Breakfast minus the omelettes!

Amazing breakfast! Waiter was super friendly and inviting. Helped us when we had all our luggage with us. Was very attentive and helpful! Highly recommend! Food was really good and a decent price for how much you get!

Stopped here since it was near my hotel - very glad I did! Exceptional food and service. 29,8 for a three course meal

This place has quality steak and frites, but the customer service is what won me over! This may not be a long review, but The service here and the quality food go hand in hand. The prices are also reasonable. If you are looking for a good place for dinner , drinks and conversation then this is the spot. Enjoy

French fries were, OMG delicious. White wine was sweet and delicious. Ordered tap water, it came cold as most N. Americans would request. The staff I suspect, anticipated that. Very attentive staff that went out of their way for us as non smokers. The Confit duck was excellent, salad was good, as were the potatoes. The club sandwich was very good. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for any of the above and I suspect everything else as well.

Everything from the food to the incredible service was amazing! Our first night in Paris, my sister and I wanted a traditional French dinner and this met all of our requirements. My sister and I both had the 3 course meal for €27 (which is a total steal) and had a lot of food left over that we took it home. I had the French onion soup (which on a cold and rainy night, totally hit the spot), then the duck confit and finished off with the creme brûlée. My sister had the pâté, duck confit and fomage and berry parfait. All of which, paired with some great wine, was the perfect start to our trip. That and our server Ricardo was very charming, friendly and polite. I would 100% recommend coming here for a nice, low key dinner.

Great great service. Mediocre food. Avoid the duck confit and the steak wasn't the best cut.

We started with Oeufs mayonnaise, which is a hard boiled egg topped with mayo. This was quite a simple dish, but definitely got us prepped for the meal. They initially made a mistake on our order and sent us the veal fingers. After rectifying the mistake, they ended up comping it, so we got an additional appetizer to try. The fried fish went well with the tartar sauce. For the mains, we got the bavette frites with bearnaise sauce and steak tartare with frites. Both dishes were delicious and satisfying, the flavors were excellent and each bite had me wanting more. If you haven't tried tartare before, give it a try here because it was delish! For dessert, we shared the Paris-Brest, a choux pastry topped with mousseline, pralines and roasted hazelnuts. We enjoyed sharing it and it made for a sweet end to our dinner. Overall, this was a great meal to start our trip, everything we had was delicious and my expectations were met!

The staff was all very friendly and inviting and were happy to recommend their favorite dishes to us. My wife ordered a French onion soup and one of their famously large salads, which are served in these big bowls. I decided to try the chef's special, which was a beef tenderloin a la rossini (truffle sauce and foie gras). I'm not typically a foie gras fan, but I figured since we're in Paris that I'd give it a shot. I'm very glad I did because it was absolutely delicious. The steak melded perfectly with the truffle sauce and fois gras. This was all served with potatoes au gratin, and blanched green beans. Everything was perfect. I also ordered two large beers. A Grimbergin blonde and a Kronenbourg ale. I love how both beers were served in their respective brand's glasses. Such a nice touch. For dessert, we ordered an Apple Tarte Tartin, upon a recommendation from one of the staff. It was light, sweet, and served with some ice cream and créme fraîce. This was such a great dinner all around. Great food, great vibes, which all lead to a great evening. Would definitely recommend!

For New Year's Eve they offered a special menu, 79 € per person. The host outside who convinced us to splurge for the special occasion said our kiddo wouldn't pay full price. Spoiler: that's not how it went. We were seated in back by the restrooms, with the sound of the hand-dryer serenading our meal. From what I could tell, apart from the staff, there wasn't a single French-speaking person in the whole place, a bad sign. For appetizers we had the escargots, which could have benefited from more garlic and butter, the foie gras, which was fine, and the smoked salmon, which was a generous portion, and very smokey. For my main, I ordered the duck in honey sauce, which would have been a good plate, served with salad, but for some reason they plated it with cold vegetables: green beans, bell pepper, and eggplant under congealing butter--Tasted like it was made ahead of time and they forgot to reheat it out of the fridge before scooping onto my plate. Total fail. My kiddo got the knuckle of lamb, which was fatty and gristly, although the mashed potatoes underneath were delicious, and my wife chose the fettuccine with shrimp and scallops, which were both overcooked and the scallops were crunchy, which was weird, served over way too much plain noodles. The desserts were good, but we paid over 240 € for three, with only one drink each, making it both the most expensive and also least delicious meal of our trip so far. Staff were friendly and attentive, and all addressed us in English, even though I'm fluent in French, which makes sense for a tourist trap. Would not recommend, unless maybe you just get the big cheap salad, seemingly that's what the 5-star reviews are for.

No tourists; only locals and repeat French customers. We sat outside. ORDERED: *FOIE GRAS House made and simply DIVINE on freshly toasted baguette bread. I wanted to take a bath in this. OMG! *DUCK CONFIT Beautiful leg served with scalloped potatoes. The meat could have been a bit more tender, but overall a good solid entree. *FRUIT TART Good, but not great. The pastry could have baked a bit longer. Loved the sweet plums though. We also ordered a bottle of their excellent Cabernet France for 17 euros. My darling didn't care for their espresso and I was not impressed with their version of a cappuccino. Dinner altogether was 73 euros.
