I bought my boyfriend and I a month tanning package, to get a base before going on a cruise. I have medium to dark skin, to start, but being winter wanted a little color. I had tanned several times before tanning in their big bed. The one that when you walk in, it's on the right side with sliding doors. The last time I went, I went home took a shower, and I noticed three blisters on my body, my wrist, my breast and the back of my leg. When the fluid drained and opened up I had third degree burns. Some pictures shown :( I had to be put on a prescription burn cream to prevent infection and help healing. This was a week before my cruise. I was instructed NO pool, hot tubs, or ocean! Great vacation. I cleaned three wounds on vacation. Still treating the one on the back of my leg today. I reached out to the owner in tears-- Not only I'm I suffering with third degree burns, but my vacation was destroyed. All that money spent was a waste! I asked for a refund on my packages, which was around $200.00. Nothing more. He refused and instead he offered me other services the salon has to offer! Like I would ever step foot in that building again. He hide behind his store manager and he could have done right by giving me back what I paid that I never used to the fullest. This salon ruined a $5,000.00 cruise vacation, I had planned for eight months. He should be ashamed of himself! I don't leave reviews or talk bad about businesses, but I would hate for someone to experience what I went through. It was painful and heartbreaking!!! AVOID LA TAN in SOUTH EGIN, that's all I could say! Terrible ownership, very unprofessional and he should be ashamed for offering me other services instead of giving me my month back, I wish I could sue him for the cost of my cruise. I was all in love with the VersaSpa here and just in the past week they got a VERSASPA PRO! Yea, huh. It's pro folks. I gave it a go today and man, is it amazing. It's a marvel in modern machinery. It takes a bit longer than the VersaSpa but it's well worth. It starts you off with the tan developing spray, then dries you off with amazing heated dryers, then does a bronzing spray if you want that, then heated dry again, and finally a moisturizing spray (that's new!!!) and another round of heated drying. I love the heat...love how dry it gets me - no towels are even needed - and love the moisturizer! I even would venture to say the Level 3 got me a smidge darker than usual. My, how spray tanning has evolved since I was a teenager! My pale face is so very thankful for LA Tan and it's many wonders!
