The staff is remarkable , I have been going there for 10 plus years . They are always friendly and helpful . Just recently added red light therapy as well as hydration and lift treatments to my weekly tanning and honestly my skin just keeps looking better and better . The red light therapy definitely has helped with soreness and pain for me . The improvement on how great try skin looks is a bonus !!! I do wish they would let you go more then 10 minutes at a time but hopefully they will get more beds in the future and extend the time read more

Ryan M- I just called the St. Charles location to see how many tans I had left on my package. I had been out of town for a period of time and had purchased a package of 3 tans. Apparently, they expire after 1 year. I was told that I need to buy another package to get my previous package reinstated. I had to ask to speak to a manager at this point and was told the same thing. I need to buy more to use what I already purchased. I was offered a single tan 50$ dollars. WOW! UNBELIEVABLE! I will travel 15 minutes away to go to this LA Tan before I ever step foot in the South Elgin location again. This LA Tan is clean, organized, and the facility is big with multiple beds. They change the light bulbs, they know their lotion products, and they are extremely clean. The reason why I am giving this location four stars instead of five is because unfortunately one of the girls that works there can be a bit rude sometimes. It seems that she likes to sell more lotion than to actually set up a bed for a customer. Other than that though, I say a big thank you to the Saint Charles LA Tan location. read more

I have been to many LA Tans in various cities, but the location is by far the best. The manager Katie is amazing, knowledgeable and always goes above and beyond. She takes care of everything and this is reflected on to her staff. The staff is always professional and friendly ! This location is the cleanest one I've been too. My skin has done a 180 since starting the red light, and this location has the best bulb in the redlight bed. This location has lots of services and good products selection. There is one girl that is so rude she only cares about making her commission off of selling lotions. I understand they want to make money but when its obvious and very pushy it just turns into bad customer service. They also have outdated beds... there are several other local locations that I will be going to now... I don't mind driving a bit farther for better service and beds. read more

I was considering spray tanning for my sister's wedding and went into this location for information. The girl was polite and patient, explaining everything and helped me pick out the perfect color. The color came out exactly as I wanted it giving me a healthy glow without looking fake or orange. I tried a spray tan at a different salon and it was a horrible experience coming out uneven and orange. Since then la tan is the only one I trust. It is always clean and comes out looking great with one quick application. I now have a membership and it's well worth the money! I suffer from psoriasis and have found that tanning for 6 min two or three times a week is more effective than any creams or expensive medications (with dangerous side effects) the doctors prescribed me. Between the tanning bed and spray it completely cures and covers my skin irritation. Once a flare up is under control I only have to go once a week to maintain clear skin. I have also been to the Geneva location of la tan and had a great experience. The women working there are knowledgeable and friendly and they have spray beds or personal sprays as well as reg and red light tanning. read more

This is definitely one of the better LA Tan locations!! It's very clean, and the girls are super friendly. The main reason it is worth noting is because of the amazing new Versa spray 360 machine!! Heck yes!! It is amazing!! It is the only heated spray tan location that I know of other than the Lake Zurich location. That was a great investment for this salon. It is like 22-25 minutes from my house, but if I'm in the area or really need a good spray tan I will make the drive!! read more

The staff here is nice and knowledgable about the products they have in store. I like the large number of tanning booths, as there is little to no wait, even on $5 Tuesdays. I am giving this location 4/5 stars because in the tanning room there was no mirror, trash can, or towel provided for me. I would have liked to be able to wipe myself off after tanning, and be able to look at myself while applying lotion, so I have even coverage. A little disappointed in the individual rooms, but overall a fine visit. read more

This location is lacking in customer service. Many times of wasted visits. Lines are too long to get checked in with one person operating behind desk. Oftentimes you drive over 15 minutes after they are supposed to open and no one has opened yet. Have to find another tanning salon not run by this company. read more

When I first signed up for my membership three years ago, they were very friendly and helpful. Before I became a member, I have never gone to a tanning salon before so they were very helpful and gave me good information. They also recommended what kind of lotions to use. I still go to this location and I'm always satisfied. They are very nice, and they make sure the beds are clean at all times. It seems that the tanning equipment is up to date and they change their bulbs frequently. I have gone to other La Tan locations, and Saint Charles is the best. The rooms are big and there has only been one or two times I've had to wait for a bed to become available. The other locations I've gone too aren't nearly as good as Saint Charles; the rooms are crammed and they sometimes have longer waiting times than here since the other locations have less beds available. I saw previous reviews that had complaints about the restroom, they recently remodeled it and cleaned it up. It looks great! read more
