My senior mom went to get her inspection done. She had recently gotten a new battery for her car. So the car failed the inspection because the computer had been reset. she was told by the tech (sorry I don't know the name), to drive the car for 70 miles. And said "Do Not get on the freeway". I helped her get the miles on her car. After almost a week she took the car back and it failed again. She was so defeated all she could do was cry. She did all she was told. This time the same tech told her she hadn't turned it off and on enough. We got in the car and I took her back there. A different person told us that the car had to be driven as it would normally be driven for the 70 miles; freeways, city streets, starts, stops, idling, etc. I drive the car to Greenville and back. The next day, I went with her to get the inspection. Luckily, the tech she'd been dealing with was there this time. He met us at the driveway. got out and asked him why he thought he needed to be so nasty about all this. he tried back peddling, then owned up to what he had told her. We waited for the inspection, and my mom was literally panicked the whole time we waited. Like a child waiting for the consequences of their actions. By the time he made it to the lobby with the form, I was pretty angry. My mom went up to the counter and I was right behind her. He literally shooed her down the counter. The car had passed. Then he literally had the nerve to tell me she needed a chaperone going forward to avoid all these issues. I grabbed the paper and left with my broken mom in tow. THIS is the only thing I've done about it. So far. I'm almost certain senior seniors do not visit Yelp to find an oil change place. They go where they've always gone. So, if you have a parent that uses this business, know that they aren't going to treat your parent as you would hope. And judging from the rating of this business, they aren't likely to do anything about changing it. read more

Ignore any rude review. Especially any stereotypical reviews. For many years I struggled with finding an honest, dependable car shop with great customer service. Everywhere I went in the past would be a one time thing because I was never satisfied enough with the work to return. That was until I found THIS location. I LOVE THIS PLACE. This location has never let me down. Every single time i've gone I have had amazing customer service and maintenance on my car. And I will always return to this location. I almost used another location closer to me after I moved from the area, but quickly left and just drove to this I would rather drive extra for this exact location. I send everyone here! read more

I've had multiple oil changes here and at least two state inspections and they've all been with ease. I've even called up there to get hours of operation and I haven't had all pleasant interactions. I will bring my car back here for future services. Thank you for making it easy and convenient for me. read more

The folks in this location were super accommodating seeing I brought the part . Really appreciative especially in the type of world we live in today. read more

Great service. I was in and out Kwik! Friendly staff. I will come back again when I need service.

Rolando and his team provide excellent customer service. They provide information as to how many cars are ahead of you along with an estimated time for completion of the service that you require. Rolando advised me not to have my oil changed because it looked clean at the time I brought it in for an oil change. His integrity impressed me. I do not take our vehicles anywhere else for oil changes or state inspections. This team does more to service your car. The prices for the services are posted in the waiting room. For fair and speedy service, take your vehicles to this Kwik Kar. read more

This shop has been nothing but great to me. They have gone above and beyond in helping with my mom and I. I have had her car serviced about three times and have had no issues. Every time I have spoke with anyone there, they are understanding and helpful. No issues after service either, would highly recommend. read more

I drove my car in and waited in the drive. One other car was there. A man comes and stands in the garage door and looks at me and says sarcastically, "Yes??" I said hi, needed an oil change. He paused an said drive up to the first bay door and turned around and went back to work on the other car. We made eye contact a couple of times and I waited for him to take my key fob. Never did. I pulled back out and went down the street. I'll never go back. Boo! read more

If I can leave no stars I would have done it. My husband told me to go there for convenience as it is close to our house. However, their attitude is top notch customer service. Not!!!! They have a unapproachable attitude with no regards to giving a welcoming vibe. They seem to be more upset that I brought my car. After working today with this older technician with a big stomach (don't know his name), we'll surely never bring another vehicle over there when he made it known that it's more important for him to go home than loose a customer for good. We brought a lot of cars there but after today, we caught him on an excuse that he didn't want to work in a car, and told him that we'll never bring a car here again. His response was.... "oh well"... Don't waste your money bringing your business over here. read more

I have been a customer here for a couple years now. I've seen different teams come and go and right now Rolando and his team have been nothing but amazing. They are professional and personable. They explain to me what's going on without making me feel dumb. This has been my favorite team of employees since I became a customer. The last two guys that worked here were so horrible I was hesitant to come back, but I'm so glad I did because Rolando welcomed me and has helped me with so much on both my car and my husband's truck! As long as him and his team run this shop, I'll always be a customer!! read more

I pulled in to get my oil changed and they were very friendly. We're straight forward with options and pricing and even checked my tires and washed my windows and mirrors while waiting. I had the option of going into the office to wait if I had a mask but decided to stay in my vehicle instead. They also offered to get my inspection done (which I forgot was out). Great place. read more

Came to this place to get oil change and I end up getting different oil grade and my oil cap on the engine was never put back on and had to purchase a new one from dealership and staff members were kind enough to paid for the part but it was too far away from my location to go back and forth so no more visits to this place!! Bad service! read more

I am always sketchy about the place I take my car to, but after this experience I will drive all the way out here to service my car (I live in Dallas). I came in a couple of days ago for service on my car. The service here is amazing, the attention and detail is extraordinary. I don't know much about cars, but the gentleman or associate explained everything with detail. Friendly staff and quick service is what we look for and they have that down at this place! Awesome job! Thank you! read more

I came in for an oil change on a Wednesday, since it's $5 off for ladies day. (Wednesday's only). They were very nice & quick! I was in & out in 10 minutes. I will definitely be coming back here again. read more

Took advantage of my wife, tried to say she need special oil filter on a 2010 chevy, and tried to tell her she need synthetic oil or she was going to ruin her motor. What a bunch if CRAP!! Stay away from them never go back. read more

DO NOT use this location or the other Rowlett location on Lakeview Parkway (same ownership)! I called the Lakeview Parkway location to see what the wait time was for an oil change and inspection and was told their inspector had left for a family emergency. I drove to this location on Dalrock and the guy tells me the other location had told customers all sorts of excuses because they just don't want to work. If the workers are that lazy, what corners are they cutting while servicing your vehicle? Now for this location on Dalrock I was quoted $69 when I pulled up and let them know I needed the oil change with my inspection. After checking out my cost was $130! I have NEVER paid more than $89 for a synthetic oil change and $89 was for the BMW dealership. Typically it is $50-$65. After having the mechanic review the charges, they nickel and dime for everything! I told him his pricing was not competitive and I should have been told before they did the work what the oil change portion would have been. The $25 inspection was correct but the oil change was highway robbery. I would never recommend anyone take their car to this location. I highly recommend the Valvoline off of I-30 Westbound in Rockwall by the Denny's & McDonald's. They have great service, prices and send great coupons in the mail. I will stick with them even though it is further from home. read more

Do not take your car here. They put the wrong oil in my car and when I asked that they fix the mistake they refused. My daughter took my SUV into the shop to have an oil change. Instead of them telling her what type of oil this car takes they asked her what she would like. My 17 year old daughter did not know what oil to choose. When I called them asking to have the issue fixed the manager told me he is aware that Nissan and Infiniti's take synthetic oil but my car didn't say that when he pulled it up in his system. Now I'm not trying to get a free oil change. I just want the right oil put in my car and I will pay the correct amount. Every single time I have ever went to any Kwik Kar location they always know what type of oil the car takes. Don't risk your car by going to this location. It's not worth it. You can take it to someone that actually knows what they are doing. read more

I came in today at last minute; 30 minutes before closing, and with a smile the guy says no problem will take care of your oil change sir, customer service comes first! My kudos goes out to whoever owns and operates this place! Job well done! read more

Wow... quoted 69.00 for a synthetic oil change but final bill was $107.00. Eventually made it down to 86.70 but what a scam. Should have been up front with cost. read more

I have my 3 year old with me. He needed breakfast, so I picked it up on my way to get the oil changed. We get inside, I get his food out, and they come tell me there is no food in the lobby. We have to take it outside. It's 45 degrees today and windy. But it's either that or have a screaming 3 yo in the lobby. Unbelievable, no food at an oil change place. It's a 10 minute change on the sign, but it took 22 instead read more

At the End of December I had my State Inspection done at this location. When I got my car back it smelled like a chain smoker had been smoking in it. Its not worth the risk to take our vehicles there if thats how they're going to come back. It took HOURS for the car to smell any better. I wrote a review online about that experience back in December. My wife forgot about that and took her car in to get an oil change today. THEY REFUSED HER SERVICE! Because of my review. They treated her like crap. SHe came home nearly in tears. She was there with our 12 month old child trying to get an oil change they had to go off and act like that? If you go here keep this in mind, they keep score so don't piss them off. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! If I could leave no stars I would. Rude staff. I had a coupon for $7 off & proceeds to tell me "we dont do coupons here." I used one previously at same location. Tire light on & still on after for low air pressure. Checked myself & wrong tire pressure. Worst oil change experience. WILL NEVER GO BACK! read more

From the moment I got there all I recieved was attitude. Martin felt like adding a bit more to my inspection. I didn't ask for attitude and consistent eye rolling. If you care about customer service you wouldn't treat a customer so poorly. read more

I have never experienced this kind of unprofessionalism from a company. If you are a minority, beware! I own a Lexus and requested synthetic oil(oil changes are only needed every 5,000 miles when synthetic oil is used) however, the attendant insisted I was misinformed and oil changes would be required every 3,000 miles. His tone was very arrogant and matter of fact. As I approached the front desk to inquire further and request the attendants name (latter discovered his name is Chad) "Bubba J" who I suspect to be the manager or owner, asked "How may I help you"? I responded: What is the guy's name in the red shirt? He again asked ( in a very authoritative tone) "How may I help you"? I again asked: What is the guy's name in the red shirt? He (Bubba J) very rudely replied " GET YOUR FAT N***** A** off my property"! Check the BBB website; this company has a grade "F" read more

Several years ago, I started using this Kwik Kar lube place for all of my cars. This store has changed hands since then, and they have started charging $30+ to dispose of the oil which raised the price of an oil change to $70+. At first they only charged my wife this excessive fee, but then they started charging me. Last time that I will use this place. Found a different place that does not charge the fee and only charges $25 for regular oil change. read more
