The owners are really friendly and won't complete or charge you for work that isn't really needed. They are tucked away from the main road and next to the DART drop off station. This is convenient if you have to leave your car and don't have someone to come pick you up. Apparently my brakes were in good shape and don't need a change yet. The oil change cost about $44. They accept cash or card - not sure about checks. We stood there for a bit talking to the owner. They had everything done that day even though I could tell they were really busy. I will be needed a full diagnostic soon and this will be the place I will be using in the future!!

As an anecdotal example, I was recently working on my son's PT Crusier, replacing the Steering Rack's pressure sensor. Upon inserting the new sensor, I tightened it without a torque wrench...mistake. Ruined the threads. So, I purchased a new steering rack. I could have replaced it myself, but I called Lamberts to get a quote on the labor alone, since it is a tedious, time-consuming task. They were very reasonable and accepted the job even though they weren't getting the markup on the parts. Several hours later, and my son says it is like driving a new car. I have no affiliation with Lamberts, except that I often throw money their way. They do good work and in my experience have been honest. Don't hesitate a moment when needing auto repair work.
