The first time I had my car serviced there the owner/manager went through all my service records with me. He took a great deal of time to explain everything to me. My car was stranded (overheated) in their parking lot and they wouldn't let me borrow a Philips head screwdriver to remove 2 screws holding a cover over my radiator cap so I could add water. Girl at front desk was nice, but the "mechanic" (ie: surly & rude a-hole) was a jacka$$... when I pressed him why I couldn't borrowing the screwdriver for a minute, he huffed and growled "I'll do it..." then when he saw that there was a few screws holding it on, he told me to "just put the water in the overflow reservoir" and walked off... worst advice ever, since there was a leak, there won't be enough pressure to pull the water into the radiator... decided to have it towed to Crest Infiniti. I used to let them do the oil changes on my 5 cars, but I'm done with them. I'll drive to Frisco. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. I paid $75 for you to take oil out of my car and not put it back in. I got my oil changed on Thursday, August 23, 2018. On Friday, August 24, 2018 my car stopped changing gears and began to heat up. I stopped on the side of the highway in Dallas and checked my oil only to discover it BONE DRY!! I drove a block to the nearest Walmart and purchased a large bottle of synthetic oil. I put the oil in my car and checked to see it staying in. Over the next two days, I checked my oil regularly to see it staying in there. This makes me believe there isn't an oil leak and instead your business FORGOT TO PUT OIL IN MY CAR! This is a horror story for me and when I came in all you did was look at my car and tell me nothing is wrong. You did not mention any leaks and seemed surprised that I would want money back. I spoke to BRYSON and asked to speak with the General Manager but was told he "didn't want to talk to me." I bet he didn't want to but that's his job and I'm an unhappy customer. How can you take oil out of someone's car and forgot to put it in??? I was assured that was "not the case" Someone messed up and does not want to cough up to their mistake. Used to love this place when Justin and Jess were there. Since they left it's been downhill and today was the final straw. Needed an inspection. Went at 2pm on a Saturday. Used to be they were packed all day on Saturday but not anymore. Only one car in the bay and nobody else waiting. Stood in the empty lobby for several minutes being ignored. Finally walked into the garage area and asked if I could get an inspection done. The only mechanic on duty said she thought so, but would need to check as she's the only one there at the time. Waited back in the lobby until the "new" manager walked in and out without acknowledging me. Then mechanic came in and told me their inspection unit was down. I asked if they could look at my AC which started blowing hot air. She said probably, but needed to check. The GM then came in with my key that the mechanic had taken. He told me he needed a machine for that. Ok. Don't you have one? Yes, but the tech that works it had left for the day. Said he was short handed and couldn't help me today. Told him how disappointed I was in the decline of service as my daughter had also been turned away a few weeks ago for an inspection for the same reason. He just shrugged his shoulders. After being a loyal customer since they opened I will not be back. Christian Brothers down the street will now be getting my business. Just wish they were open on Saturday. read more

Returned to this Kwik Kar for a State Inspection today. They were busy, as usual so I figured I'd be there for a while. The Manager was friendly and professional as usual. She told me that 2 customers were ahead of me for inspections and that they would get to my vehicle in about 30 minutes. It took about 35 minutes which was fine with me. Good service, friendly staff gets a 5-star rating from me. My first visit to this Kwik Kar was in May 2019 for an oil change and tire rotate. The service was quick, the staff was friendly, professional and efficient. Gave them a 5-star rating then too but I don't see it on their file with yelp. Discovered that they lost and did not replace some hardware that attached a cover pan over the bottom of engine.

They're pretty quick, just watch out-- they will definitely try to upsell you here (on oil, air filter, all the usual upsells). However, the location is convenient and if you know what you're doing at an auto shop, they won't take advantage of you. I felt that my car was in good hands. read more

We have used this Kiwk Kar in Celina several times along the years. They are good for oil changes, state inspections and changing a bulb. And good is an "overstatement". Read more reviews on oil change and you will see why I say this. When it comes to mechanical issues they use magic ball technology and the hit and miss approach. They will charge you for every miss regardless. I say this for on one of my cars they charged three times and never were able but to reset engine light. My wife took a chance in good faith 3 years later with another car and they did it again. Their favorite excuse when they miss..." our computer analyzer" just broke. If you want please come back next week...by the way It is $$$ " This trick they pulled twice on us. No coincidence here. Nothing but a bunch of part timers in need of good ethical training who exploit people's need and their faith since competition is just barely coming to them. Courteous and professional . The parking lot was full when I was there -so I parked across in the next parking lot and an employee walked over and got my car for me and took it in the oil change area and my oil change was done in a timely and efficient manner. I have been approximately four times to get the oil changed at Kwik Kar in Celina and never had an unpleasant experience. read more

Worst oil change place I've ever been too. Got halfway home and realized my oil pressure gauge had dropped. Come to find out they forgot to tighten the oil plug up. I called to confront them of the issue but they denied. These guys are a joke. Stay away. Go to war mart before you take even you remote control car to these dipsticks. read more
