Set an 8 AM appointment they were prompted and ready to go they diagnosed it as a crooked oil filter and the gasket had failed a job that Valvoline did a few weeks before they fixed it topped it off at no charge . This is the Prosper location on 380 by RaceTrac mind you. They used to have a really great staff when Lorenzo was there as manager. Since he left it has apparently gone downhill. When I got there at 4:55pm a wigger with cornrows, a little pencil neck punk named Daylan told me they're closed as he scowled through his missing teeth. Despite the fact the sign says they close at 5, I now have to wait until next weekend to get an oil change. I called the corporate line, and they informed me that although some locations are franchisee owned, this location is a corporate store, and they allow their pothead employees to close the store "at their discretion" which means as early as they want, which apparently is no less than 5 minutes early whenever there are no adults present at the location to protect Valvoline's brand. I once loved this place. I will never be back, and I recommend you don't either.

Went in knowing I needed a coolant sensor changed (I'm a mechanic on cars and planes) and told the…read moreguy at the counter. He stated he needed to "test" it and that ran $190.00. I told him fine and then got the shock of my life. I got the diagnostics back and read how after resetting the error code, the vehicle ran fine, temp held fine and yet they came out with a quote, to change out my thermostat, because it stuck. It isn't because I can see the temperature gage move up and down even though it isn't reading properly. And besides, if it was "stuck" the car would run hot and not cold. To top that off they said I had a head gasket leak and I was leaking coolant. I just had to cooling system fill & bled so that was residual. Besides I never had any signs of leakage where my car gets parked and that has been 8 years worth of use. Overall repair bill was nearly $3000.00 dollars. So I told them I'd do it myslef and took my vehicle. I bought the sensor and the tools to make it easier to replace and all of that ran me less than $50.00. I do not recommend anybody use them, who hide behind as being a Chritian organization and rob their customers blind.

Personally witnessed this as he helped me with my car (Nissan). The price is not comparable to any other business around, even after the pandemic that still affects the "reason" behind inflation. $57.12 (tax included for my oil change.) love it! His technicians Derek, Raul, and Steven hand in hand, team work, and supportive of one another. There were technical difficulties at the register and they all came to help to get me out asap and continue business One of them dealt with some difficult customers during my presence and accolades to them for providing service and attention to them. Ordered a…read moreYokohama 155/90D17 space saver tire online and I was notified via text it was delivered early--great! Took a new wheel and valve stem into the Auto Care Center and asked for the new tire to be mounted and then balanced, and left--no rush. They texted that they had finished. So far pretty painless. Then I picked up the tire, and as I was rolling it out to my car, I noticed there were no wheel weights attached. Can't balance a tire without weights, so rolled it back in, and stated that situation. The woman behind the counter had no idea what I was talking about. Didn't know a wheel weight from a brake caliper. She grabbed a tech, who was irritated, and wanted to know "if I had a problem." I stated I paid for a wheel balance, showing him my invoice, and it didn't happen. He looked at the spare and asked, "You want that balanced?" Like he'd never heard of balancing a spare. "Yes, I paid for it," I responded. He then proceeded to balance the tire. As he did that I noticed they charged me for a valve stem, even though I brought a new one with the wheel. It was only $3, and worth that not to have to talk to the cashier, or whatever she was, again. You have been warned.

Couldn't have been worse! Brought car in for an oil change and inspection. Got it back with a check…read moreengine light and multiple error codes. I opened the hood to check the oil and the engine cover was just sitting there sideways. I immediately went back in and notified the front desk, they had a mechanic look at the codes. Mechanic thought it was the battery or alternator but checked both and were fine. He then tried to reset the error so I could drive it and see if it went away. So I drove it home and it immediately came back. I returned the next day to have it looked at and they took 4 hours to call and tell me it has multiple errors and they suggested I take it to another shop to be fixed and assured me they didn't do anything wrong. I took it to a new shop and they found the issue instantly. When they replaced the oil filter they stripped a wire harness and shorted the electrical system. Have video and pics of the damage. $600 later everything works fine again. I don't ever plan on taking my car here again if they don't make this right.
