Delicious, AUTHENTIC Filipino home cooking, you'll love Kuya lan's Bistro ! The staff are warm and welcoming, ready to explain the menu, so don't be afraid to ask questions. Comfortable seating and a market you can walk while your food is being prepared, love that !! Everything sounded amazing which made it difficult picking just one dish, we'd recommend sharing several dishes; you'll notice other tables doing this as well. Pork Sinegang, a sour tamarind soup is definitely a MUST try! Siomai dumplings, Lumpia, longsilog sausage and Lechon, were all wonderful additions! But the let's talk about the Tocilog plate with garlic rice, pancit and sunny side up egg paired the sour soup * hands down my favorite combination, seriously good eats you'll want to have again and again!!!

This restaurant features Filipino food. I ordered the family style bilao, and chose five different dishes from the menu. * Pancit Canton (stir fry noodles) * Chicken Adobo * Lechon Kawali (fried pork belly) * Chicken BBQ Skewers * Kaldereta (braised beef with spicy tomato and peanut sauce) Overall the flavors were good. I especially enjoyed the stir fry noodles and braised beef sauce. I wish the rice had more garlic flavor and the fried pork belly was juicer tho.

The food is great! Loved every thing I tried there today. I wish the Halo-halo came with ube ice cream and more flan for it to be worth $10 though. The Kuya bowl 3 is very worth it with 3 different dishes of your choice + garlic rice. It's the best place to go for authentic Filipino food in Columbus. The service is nice. The crew are friendly and they serve food quickly. We got there before 3pm though, which turns out they only have buffet til then and won't serve you anything off the menu so we had to wait. I wasn't interested in the buffet because the foods I was craving weren't included. The ambiance could be better. You order from a different room and then find your way to the old gift shop to find seats. I just think for the price of the food, the ambience could be better.

I've been to Kuya Ian's many times, the most recent one during the pandemic. It never fails to disappoint with its amazing flavors! This has easily become my favorite spot for Filipino food in Columbus given the combination of its authenticity and fair prices. First off, the food. I have had a variety of items here, so I'll just focus on the most memorable ones. I'm a huge fan of their brunch. Specifically, their Longsilog (sausage) and Tapsilog (cured beef) are absolutely delicious. The longanisa is fatty, juicy, and garlicky, definitely enough to turn a bad day into a good one. The garlic fried rice and fried egg that come with the breakfast are great too, and complement the meats well. Other standout dishes for me are the chicken adobo (a classic) and the lechon kawali (fried pork belly). The chicken adobo, while more mild in flavor than others I've had, has a very nice flavor to it. The lechon kawali is fried perfectly each time and just melts in your mouth. I love when food just melts when I bite into it... If you want to try many things, I highly highly recommend bringing several friends and getting the bilao. You can choose an assortment of items and it's presented in this giant circular spread. I get excited just thinking about it! The restaurant itself is pretty small and unassuming, but I promise you the flavors more than make up for it. Given how good the food is and the fair prices, I will keep coming to support Kuya Ian's, even through the pandemic! Food: 4.5/5 Ambiance: 3.5/5 Service: 4/5 Price: 4.5/5 Overall: 4

    Happy campers again. Large bilao

We are back again. Family can't decide what to order so we ordered two bilao's plus Beef nilaga and Siomai as well. Total of twelve entrees plus halo halo, sapin sapin and Cassava cake. Each entree was cooked with love for sure. There's only 8 of us so for sure lots of baon to take home. Salamat Salamat po muli. Meeting the family Nonie and Ivan are always a blessing. More power to your family business.

Kamayan in their private party room

Came here with a group of 28 people for the Kamayan experience where the food is spread out on banana leaves and you eat with your hands. They do have utensils available for the naysayers. The employees were very helpful in explaining what everything was as they laid out each dish. We had rice, mango (super sweet in January of all times!), Grilled BBQ Pork Skewers, Chicken Adobo, Crispy Pork, Lumpia, Lechon Kawali, Pancit Bihon, Tapsilog, and shrimp. My favorites were the pancit (thin rice noodles) and bbq skewers. The food was super fresh and delicious. I'm not super familiar with Filipino food so I'm glad I had the opportunity to expand my food horizons at this restaurant serving traditional Filipino cuisine. I would definitely come back to eat off the regular menu or partake in Kamayan again for Cbus visitors who haven't had that experience.

When I went, friends and I ordered a little of everything and it was all tasty! We ate inside and it was nice. The inside is small so if you are to dine in you should go when it's not busy such as night time. We went during the night around dinner time and we were the only ones there. They also played a soap opera show and it made me feel at home in a way which was nice!

The prices are refreshingly fair, the food comes out fresh every single time, and the vegetarian options? Chef's kiss. I blanked on the name of my dish but my taste buds definitely remember it. The place is not big and they usually have large parties coming in, thus fills the space quickly. We started with Tofu chicharron which we were expecting to be crispy - because chicharron means 'crackling pork rinds' but these Tofu were soft a lil disappointed there. We tried the pork sisig, it was okay. It has this mayo topping and there's an overpowering taste of ginger which is not typical of sisig. We enjoyed the grilled pork belly though, marinated enough and it's complimented with soy vinegar dip. The pancit on the other hand was very greasy. The oil was pooling at the bottom of the bowl. Taste was was just okay. It has way too many chinese sausage in it. We completed our meal with Ube Carioca, it is this chewy rice cake that is deep fried with glazed sweetness & that was okay as well. We wanted the mango sago, however they were out. The service was prompt and adequate parking space.

Added 2 pork lumpias to make the entire meal a 5/5! The pork belly was packed with flavour and perfectly grilled/ cooked. The roasted corn was sweet and mixed with tomatoes and parsley. The slaw added a great crunch to the meal. Lumpias were fried nice and golden brown with a sweet chili dipping sauce on the side. Overall I loved eating this, especially when you get a little bit of each item as one bite - delicious! Also got a drink of zero sugar 7up and was pleasantly surprised at how good it tasted.
