Apparently, the original Asian couple no longer owns this and new owners took over fairly recently. Things are still being organized as they say, a lot of products don't have prices or they are in different places so it's kind of a surprise bill when you go to the register. I'd say it's a little bit on the expensive side for example compared to Saraga International. But for a quick thing or two this store can be handy. It also connected to the Asian eatery. This is an interesting little market attached to Kuyu's. I stopped into Kuyu's for dinner and saw a door leading to Chuchay's. They make it convienant to wander back and forth while waiting on the food to be ready. This market may be small but has many of the essentials and some speciality foods. They are mostly all canned, frozen, and packaged items. read more

The go-to Filipino market in Columbus. Stocked with items you won't get at Kroger. I just wish my Mom was in town to cook it all for me. I've had the restaurant food as take out before and it was good. I really come for the baked goods. They get a weekly shipment from famed Filipino bakery, Valerio's in Chicago. I crave this stuff. Definitely a go-to for Filipino and other Asian items! The store may look small, but it has a pretty big selection. Filipino items tend to be cheaper here than bigger Asian markets like Sunrise. They offer some homemade items like longanisa and tocino, which are delicious! There's plenty of imported and fresh items, including occasional items they've picked up at Jollibee. You can also grab a meal at Kuya Ian's Bistro, which is attached. Highly recommend! read more

BUYERS BEWARE!!! This store will over charge your credit card for what they claim a "Credit Card Fee" if you're not aware of your receipt! Not true!!! By law, they have to disclose to their customers that they are charging them some kind of fee for using their credit card and it was never disclosed until I questioned the charges! We were in Columbus for the weekend and thought to stop by this store since they cater to Filipino products. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Place was clean as well. However, we were shocked that our receipt didn't match the charges posted in our credit card account. I called the place immediately and was told that the credit card company was the one charging us the overage. I was shocked that this store manager would think we were some idiots that never had credit cards before but didn't argue with him! Just went ahead and disputed the charges. Would we recommend or go back to this place again, ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Bad business practices that once bitten twice shy. So be very attentive if you decide to venture to this place. read more

What a great find! If you're looking for some ingredients, snacks, baked goods, anything from the motherland that you miss, you'll probably find it here. Seriously, it's a convenience store, restaurant and bakery all in one. The people are very friendly and very helpful. Salamat, po! Have your mask ready just like anyone else that goes into the store. Love that they've got a Filipino store in town! And it's nice seeing other Filipinos around. Totally didn't know there were any in Columbus. They've got longanisa, siopao, and lots of your favorite snacks! Must be family-owned as I saw kids behind the counter. Service was nice too!! The guy (maybe the father) informed us there is a restaurant behind it so we went to check it out!! Parking is no issue as it's right out front. Not hard to find and not far from the highway! Prices are more than in the Philippines but this is America. I appreciate them being here so much! read more

Stopped in next door to Ian's Bistro for dinner. The owner suggested that we head next door, and look around at his sisters grocery store while we waited for our food to be cooked. It was a fun time walking around this international grocery store, and seeing all of the different foods that they had available. There were frozen, refrigerated, and dry goods most of which I had never heard of or seen before. I am totally open to new and exciting foods from around the world. We only stayed for a few minutes as it didn't take very long for our food to be made. Next time I'm in the area I'll be sure to stop in and do some actual shopping, can't wait! read more

Glad to see a Filipino grocery store in Columbus. Certain items are priced higher than in a bigger Asian store, but they specialize in Filipino goods, like frozen calamansi mix and marinated Filipino BBQ skewers. The owner is very nice. Clean and spacious. read more

Well, I just moved here from Florida and Im so desperate to find a Filipino store. And Im so lucky because I found this place. It is not far from my home. Their prices are not bad, unlike in FL. I was just visiting in Columbus and needed help and local advice - these folks were setting up their second store, on Schrock just southwest of Cleveland Ave - not even open yet - they were SO helpful.
