A large, clean, and well-stocked Meijer location. Stopped here on a mid-week afternoon recently and had a very pleasant experience. We were able to purchase everything from our shopping list plus more! From food (ranging from produce through boxed items) through clothing and even makeup, we easily located everything and pricing was excellent with the mperks program. Browsing the store was a joy too. From automotive supplies and sporting equipment through toiletries the selection of brands and goods was definitely impressive. The employees we encountered were helpful. When it came time to checkout, we skipped self-checkout because we exceeded the 12 item limit. There was only one cashier open--as is the case with many grocery stores these days--but the line moved quickly and she was friendly.

    Get yer sharpies here!

In my opinion, Meijer is a great grocery store. Always well lit and clean and probably the best produce department. I did find some bath tissue although the picture tells the story. In the wake of corona virus news, people are buying toilet paper. I wandered around anyway to see the nice displays and variety this store offers. Note to self- good selection of clothes and workout clothes at a very reasonable price.

Part of 10 for $10 and get 11th free.

There is a very good reason I have shopped at Meijer only for most of my groceries. It is the people who work there. I have never found one who didn't go out of their way to answer my question or look in the back if the shelf was empty even when it is not their department. Good example of that is what Ashlee in the bakery did for me today. I love the St. Pierre brioche thick sliced bread. Lasts for weeks and makes a mean peanut butter sandwich. None on display, so I asked the lady behind the cake counter. She gladly stopped icing something and went back to look. When she didn't find any, she came back out with a hold slip so a loaf would be held for me next Friday. Until Ashlee, the lady icing cakes, told me that you could do that I didn't know it was possible. Prices are great, but customer service is what makes Meijer's a cut above others. I also like how the company treats its employees. These 2 reasons is why I NEVER shop at that W place.

It's alright, produce section is large and has a lot of good stuff. They had no bottled water when I went yesterday. That was disappointing. They had everything else I wanted tho, although it wasn't the easiest to find stuff like bacon. Anyways. 3 stars. It's ok.

A better option than that big blue store. Still trying to figure out why the tea section is so far away from the rest of the drinks.

This location buys and sells both men's and women's clothing. Each location buys based on the area, so what may sell well/buy well here, may not be what you will find in other locations. For example, you'll find many more high end items in Dublin than in Hilliard. You may find jeans here for around ~$15/pair. Shirts ~$10-14 each. SELLING: * when you sell, you will get $ the day that you sell your items. This is similar to Platos Closet/Clothes Mentor, but unlike many of the Grandview consignment stores where you don't get $ until the store sells your item. I prefer getting my $ up front, so I appreciate that here. * You get ~30% of what they will sell your item for here, whereas you will get up to ~50% of sell price at the Grandview consignments for example. * You can also get store credit instead of cash here. In that case, they give you 25% more. Note that each Uptown is individually owned, so you can only use that store credit at the specific store you sell. *On average, you really only get $4-5 per item you sell here. * The wait time for selling your clothes is typically only ~5-15 minutes, and you're required to stay in store as they sort through on your first visit selling. BUYING: * note that you if you do return something, you can only get store credit or exchange for something in stores. They will not refund you. *Overall, pretty average. I don't really find much here, but my style fits the Clothes Mentor/Dublin style typically.

About every two months I'd pop in for clearance because I still like their clothes. My last visit a few days ago was like night and day. The last few times I was in there I was completely ignored. The staff in general was more friendly - although when I paid cash it seemed to blow the cashier's mind. I had traveled from out of town to pick up some unsold items on the last day of my contract. One dress in particular had a security sensor attached -- which signaled to me that they understood its value -- but when they removed the sensor, it sprayed ink all over the white fabric. Despite the damage, they offered me just $22 for the dress, which I later sold on Poshmark for $100 the same day I picked it up. When I voiced my concerns, I was encouraged to speak with someone at the front desk, but the response was dismissive -- simply stating it would be treated as a markdown sale. There was no accountability, and it was clear there would be no resolution. I didn't bother to fight the way they seemed happy to conduct business, as this was my first experience. It was a disappointing experience that showed a lack of care for consigned items at Second Chance. I've learned my lesson and will not be returning. I'd recommend sellers explore other platforms or shops that treat high-value pieces with more respect and offer fairer returns.
